  1. I was surprised when the "Souls" series was never mentioned. It's at the top for me. 1. Souls (Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, and soon to be Bloodborne) 2. Baldur's Gate 3. Daiblo (1 and 2 only) 4. Starcraft 5. Warcraft (anything before WOW)

Hmmm. Maybe there is cause for a Kurt and Jacob series? An interesting thought... I'll think about it. Thank you for reading!

When it was originally written I was hoping that Kurt's age would be good enough, but I have received that question before. I did end up with an alternate idea for an ending but I never got around to adding it. I guess the laziness is coming back to bite me just a little bit, huh?

And it's been wonderful ever since, my friend. I'm glad it's stood the test of time.

I'm not sure if outside links are allowed in reviews, so I recommend you check out Ashes of Fate on AwesomeDude. You can access it from my author page there if you decide to check it out. Kurt and Jacob are both in it. I'm glad you liked it.

Everyone says to stay out of the woods. They say that it's dangerous to play in there, especially alone. I don't know why they are so afraid. I find the woods to be quite peaceful, but that doesn't mean I don't get in trouble if my parents catch me coming back from them. Usually it isn't that difficult to avoid being discovered. I just sneak into my neighbor's yard, a single mom who's gone almost the whole day while her kids go from school to day care, and then hop her fence and I'm free. At

  8. Although because of an agreement I have with the site moderator on the other website where I post I will not post the story here, I have used Djinn in the past. However, the setting for the story in which I used them takes supernatural creatures and tries to bring them to a less mythological level. So, the Djinni do have magical powers in my story, but their omnipotence is really more of a legend than actual fact. Propaganda to make them seem more powerful than they actually were.

  10. It's an interesting life, always being on the run. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn’t need to just to survive. Unfortunately, being a monster often has its downsides. On the other hand, my type are better off than a lot of the monsters. We could blend in. Vampires? Yeah, they could almost pull it off, and provided they were homeschooled and stuck to the night life, who would be the wiser? It's not like they were required to drink human blood either, so a trip to the butcher every

  12. James, I will always be pulling for you, and I'm always here to talk. I didn't respond to this on the forums at AD, but after seeing it here... I feel the need to suddenly. We've already talked about the specific details, between the two of us, but I wanted to address the original topic of this post which is whether a story has ever affected me to that degree. I write because of the way stories have hit me in the past. There are so many times that I have learned things about myself, sometimes dark and terrible things and other times pleasant things. I've had repressed memories trigger, I've relived hell, and I've relived paradise, all through the shared experience of the written word. Whenever a story hits me that hard, I latch onto it. That doesn't mean I enjoy the story, but I always force myself to analyze why it triggered that emotional response from me. I delve deep into my emotions until I find it. Even if it brings me pain at first to find these things and deal with them, I generally come out better in the end for having faced them. I write out of an emotional need sometimes to express those same emotions, though sometimes I do just write for fun as well. I don't know how many times I've touched another in such an emotional way, but I do hope that my writing will someday help people who are going through things that I write about. You're a brave soul, and I'm glad you're working through it. Best of luck to you always, and you know where to find me.

    Chapter 1

Listening to sad music was how it was written. I can't see a better way to read it. Thank you!
  14. The next two parts to this story may or may not address that question. No spoilers on the result!

Thank you for reading and for the review. There is a part four and a part five, though whether they come into play or not is still up in the air. They recently posted on Awesomedude, but... It may be a week or so before they end up here. The reason for the shifting narrators is due to the nature of how this story was written. The story was originally meant to begin and end with Another Day In Parodyse, but when it was posted at Awesomedude it quickly developed a following. I decided to explore other aspects of their story, and that meant getting into Logan's psyche. Teammates had to be written from his perspective, even though the first story was written from Seth's. The story wouldn't have been written otherwise. Still, thank you for asking about it.

I knew it was coming, and I had barely managed to avoid it all weekend, but now I knew I was going to have to face Seth. I had told him I was going to my uncle’s house on Saturday, and then that my parents needed me for housework on Sunday, and then lied to my parents about being sick so that I could stay home on Monday. Since I rarely stayed home from school for any reason, my parents fawned over me with concern, but my faked cough and claims that my stomach was upset ended up being enough, and

  22. It was much more difficult than Logan thought it would be, but that didn’t make it any less necessary. By this point he had to ask her out or he’d risk losing her. That was the last thing he wanted, no matter how big of a fool he had made of himself over the last few weeks. Maggie Bianchi was definitely the girl he wanted to be with, and Seth had been bugging him about that very fact for weeks. “Just go apologize!” Seth insisted, bumping his shoulder into Logan’s and then nodding toward her

Thank you, Albert. It was an emotional piece for me to write as well. I'm glad it had that impact on you. Thanks for reading!
  25. Indeed. It should be out in a few days.
