Great poem Tim. We should all count our blessings.

You're doing a great job developing your charactes in this story, Lit. It's nice that we're getting to know them before the sexual tension changes the dynamic between them. It's also nice to get a look, even briefly at the world around the characters. Grown up Merrick seems like a really good guy, dedicated to his work and his family. I'm not sure about Jer. He seems like he could cause issues with that temper. That being said, Heltarians must be a pretty sexual bunch.

I think at Nate's age kids do have split personalities. You've captured that well with Nate. One minute he's a little kid, running around in the snow, teasing is grams about his uncles' engagement, going to his grams for love and support, the next he's a young man, standing up for himself with his dad, making a possible connection with Bodie. I'm not sure what I think would be best for Nate right now. He can't really go back to his old school and the trust with his dad is going to take time to rebuild, but it will be a lot tougher to rebuild it if the live in separate provinces. My parent instincts say that Nate would be better to be with his parents of his dad is going to make an honest effort to make amends. I think Kendall was right, if Nate goes back Michael should go with him. He'll need the emotional support. Another excellent chapter, sir.

A great combination of sweet while still hot and sexy. Ryan seems passionate, good hearted and the right kind of "bossy" I think Sim might have a chance to fall hard for this guy if he is everything he seems to be.

Great start. You have me interested. Sim doesn't seem to have any trouble finding company. I guess his only problem is choosing which one he wants lol

Michael sounds like a great guy - straightforward - honest and in love. When it's right it is that simple.

"Playing the don't scare the Yank game" was probably my favourite line in this chapter. lol Greg is a really good young man. He is doing his best to try to help Denny get past the crap he went through before. Greg and Denny both seem to realize that Denny is going to need to go slow and feel like he has 'power'. Denny hovering over Greg as Greg undressed helped. There will be other small things that might set Denny off, but Greg is doing very well. Cal and Benny have really heated up that darkroom Benny wanting to be the first to offer himself to Cal is very like Benny. It feels like they are moving quickly, but they aren't really. They have lusted after each other for months so when they finally realized they both wanted the same thing everything sort of fast forwarded. Another great chapter CG.

I read this chapter and didn't leave a review because I wasn't sure what to say. The conversation between Nate and his dad was hard to read. Nate is fortunate that his dad realizes that he made an enormous mistake, but the hurt of being told, by someone who is supposed to love you unconditionally, that you need to be fixed because of your sexuality could potentially stay with him forever. Mark learned a hard lesson - some things can't be fixed with an "I'm sorry". Gaining his son's trust back is going to be a hard climb.

I like that Jasper and Rob are becoming closer friends now that Nelson and Eric are dating. I enjoy their interactions with each other and their conversations can be enlightening. I think Rob is curious, but he's not gay. I think what might hold him back from experimenting is not wanting to lead a guy on, which is funny because he was ok using Mel for sex, but I think the fact that his beloved brother could have been "led on" by a potentially straight guy (if he hadn't met Nelson) puts that in to perspective for him. If Rob had a little sister I don't think he would be as willing to use a girl for sex. It's all about perspective. I am curious to find out what Nelson and Eric talked about. Nelson might not like to rock the boat or cause a confrontation, but he is honest so if asked he will tell Eric what is bothering him. It's great that Eric still wants to go to Prom, but he should also be honest about what is making him anxious about going. Their strength is their honesty.

I apparently completely missed your birthday celebration. Happy Belated Birthday!

I had a feeling there was more to Sir Rob the Brave than just baseball and girls. He was much to enlightened and bright to limit his interests. His dad seems to have him pegged pretty well. He wants to be helpful and sometimes that causes him to be involved in Eric's business more than Eric might like. By giving him a broader cause it gives the LGBT community a great advocate but also might give Eric and Nelson a bit of a reprieve from Rob's intense focus. I understand Eric's reservations. Even if he seems more mature than his age, he is young and new to being out. Being out to your school and friends is also not the same as actually showing physical affection for someone in public. I have straight friends who don't like public displays of affection because they are shy and don't want people looking at them. Eric is shy AND gay so his trepidation is understandable. I get Nelson's disappointment but I hope he realizes that Eric's hesitation has nothing to do with his feelings for him and everything to do with not wanting to put their relationship on display for public consumption and commentary.

This is almost scary in its truth. It shows how easy it could be to let yourself give in to temptation - even if you know it's wrong.

Sometimes the best people in our lives are the ones who are stubborn enough to not let us push them away. Your Michael sounds like the right kind of stubborn. I'm glad he was able to convince you that you are worthy of love - his love. May you and Michael celebrate many more years together.

Megan did the right thing in a bad situation. She needed to get her son somewhere she knew was safe while she "takes care"'of what and who could hurt him - even if that may mean she leaves. Unfortunately I've know people like Mark. They're ok with "gay" as long as it's abstract and doesn't actually touch them or their family. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to blame Kendall and Michael's relationship for "causing his son to decide to be gay". Maybe hearing that his son was so upset he contemplated taking those pills will knock some sense into him and make him see the damage he has caused. Kendall did a great job with his nephew. He seems like an easy guy to talk to and the least likely to freak out about the pills and the church group. Michael is a wonderful man, but he does have a fiery temper haha

The payback on Chet was great haha. I wonder what Kendall is going to do to get Arron back. It's great that they have two great friends that will stand up with them. I think Arron and Chet are going to have a great time planning the wedding. I wonder what happened with Nate's father - or his mother for that matter. No wonder Colleen and big Mike looked so upset. Hopefully they will be able to get Nate through this with Michael and Kendall's help.

Tristan has more answers now, but there still seem to be questions. Have his parents been reborn? How is Ethan a self-made phoenix? What powers does Tristan have access to? It seems that there will be a lot more changes coming for Tristan.

Another great poem that channels so much emotion. You can "see" Kendall just watching Michael as these words go through his head. Who wouldn't want this deep of a connection with another person?

I never know what to say when reviewing poetry. It's not my favourite form of writing, but I do like what you write. It usually speaks to me in some way. This was so heartfelt that I could picture Michael lying ln his side watching Kendall sleeping and not able to keep himself from touching him - his hair, his arm, his chest. I think AC is right - these could be wedding vows.

An intense and action packed chapter. Tristan got some answers but has a lot more questions and emotions to deal with. What is a Phoenix in this world? What is Jacob - a ghost? What is this Icarus organization and why was Tristan separated from them? The tiger wer being trans was an interesting and unexpected twist. I look forward to chapter 3.

Wow Gary. You are still the master of a love scene. You could feel the love between Michael and Kendall with every touch, every breath, every kiss and every stroke. Their lovemaking has been a long time in coming and I would say it was well worth the wait - for Michael and Kendall AND your salivating readers I can relate to Michael's feelings about Candy. It has to be hard for him having one of the best things in his life tied to one of the worst. Candy might not be evil but what she did to Michael was reprehensible. Having Kendall there to support him and to be there for the birth of their son has to be such a relief for him. Their son will have someone there who loves him from the moment he is born.

Intense first chapter. What wasn't Tristan told about himself? I look forward to seeing where this story is going.

My favourite line: "I knew it couldn’t be, but I could swear he was telling us to get a stall." It was great that the boys got some alone time and were able to help Denny and Greg sneak some time together. I admire Greg's honour and his resolve to keep the secrets of the boys he had called. The darkroom was probably one of the few private locations that Benny and Callie would be able to be alone. They certainly made the most of their time alone Callie was brave in telling Benny know what he needed in a relationship with him. I hope they can maintain that honesty with each other.
