  1. 5.1 Tommo was devastated. During the train journey home, he tried to put a brave face on his situation, but with every passing mile the dread of going home intensified. That a momentary impulse could give rise to such savage circumstances crushed him. If the ignominy that preceded the school expelling him wasn't enough, he had to face the contempt of parents, friends, and extended family. It certainly wasn't fair. If he had been caught having sex with a girl, the matter would have been overlo
  2. 4.1 That night Ryan couldn't sleep. He kept going back to the talk with Gus about sex. He wasn't concerned; on the contrary, he was excited, because he didn't know where all this talk would lead. He liked Gus and had to admit he was physically attracted to the older boy. Just thinking about what might happen excited him. I didn't know a bloke's bum could look so good even with pants on; when he bent over me cock started misbehaving. (Sigh) Should I be concerned about Gus physically abusin
  3. 3.1 “. . . you mark my words, Clare, sending Ryan to an expensive Public school will cause problems for him and you. Even working, you can't afford his school fees let alone uniform, books, and equipment. There are many decent and inexpensive Catholic schools locally, and he would have the benefit of a good religious teaching. However, he doesn't want to go to a Catholic school so, while I'm disappointed, you should let him go to Manly Boy's High with his mate Bluey. This is . . ." "NO! I

    Chapter 2

Thnx for your input. I'm not a medic and so took some liberty in the narrative. I guess I'm after impact rather than strict adherence to procedure. Anyway, thanx again.
  5. "Hey mum, I'm home and starving. What's to eat . . . " Ryan, as usual, raced in from school, closed the front door with a bang, and then stopped suddenly. In the hallway, his mother lay on her side with her arm outstretched clasping an empty pill bottle. She was unconscious. For at least ten seconds he just stood there in shock, dumbfounded at the sight and unable to process the scene. Then his subconscious goaded him into action. Where was nanna? "Nanna, nan, where are you. Oh my go
  6. It was a warm day; in this late spring season, the sun shone brightly but not too severe. Overhead the sky was a cloudless, blue. The gentle wind barely moved the trees but was enough to give some relief from the heat. This was his favourite spot; the smooth rock was comfortable enough, so he stretched his naked body and relished being alone with nature. How many times had he lain here and thought about his life in general and his family life in particular? Too many. How many conclusions had he
  7. . . . . AUTHORS NOTE My intent in writing this book is to expose the 1950’s treatment of homosexuals both in Australia, England and America. Why is this important? In 1953, England’s Lord Montagu of Beaulieu with two others was arrested and tried for performing "gross offences". The trial caused a backlash of opinion that led to the setting up of the Wolfenden Committee. In its 1957 report, the committee recommended the decriminalisation of homosexual activity in private, between two co
  8. It’s the early 1950’s in Australia and Ryan Seaton has a dark secret. At twelve years old he’s discovered he’s a homosexual and in that decade being gay could be fatal. Added to that, his mother uses emotional blackmail, making his home-life miserable. Then his best mate confides he’s also gay, but the combined hostility of society, religion and the law, ensures that any relief is short-lived. Tragedy follows. The decade known as the 1950’s was word-wide, the worst time to be gay, but out of the depths of despair a new period of enlightenment began. This is the story of some young souls living through and surmounting that awful decade.
  9. When I reach a story waypoint, and can't decide 'What's Next' I go for a long drive or lay down to sleep. It's amazing that when your conscious mind is occupied your subconscious mind is free to roam and often gives me options to proceed. Having a waypoint block can be frustrating.
  10. When and how will the new design facility be released?
  11. Thanks that's brilliant! I would have never thought to take the approach opening a separate tab. Ta muchly! I'm not sure what is mean by not having an advanced search option. I use this all the time. What is the alternative approach?
  12. I am an avid reader (using my Galaxy tablet) of GA stories and I use the advanced search facility always. However, after I've made my reading selection (from the search results) I can't go back to the original search results (not criteria). I've tried the Download, History, and Favourites facilities in my Browser but, for some reason, I can never return to my original search. It's annoying, I have to go back and re-enter my search criteria to replicate the search. Is there any way to store a search permanently so I can always have the original search result on hand? I'm a bit frustrated so I've asked for help.

Yep it all comes to a hopefully satisfactory end. Thanks for reading and giving me feedback
  15. Epilogue . . . some fifteen months later . . . Mark got up from his desk, and with a contented smile, slowly walked out onto the main residence porch. Sipping from his coffee mug, he watched the activity in the marshaling yard where Scott was overseeing the unbridling of the stock horses. Young men, nay young gay youths, were excitedly telling stories about the morning ride; a lot of ribbing and exaggerated claims were being thrown around. They were happy and carefree. From the first int

    Chapter 13

Yes, it's the same cowardice that Islamic mullas enjoy when they send children to their death telling them they'll be going to paradise. Why don't these nutters carry their own bombs?

Yep. I tried to find him a nasty way to die, and from research, food allergy can be bad.
  20. 13.1 'Please come in Brigadier, take a seat. Welcome to our Battalion Headquarters. Can I offer some refreshments? '(Pleasantly) No thank you Colonel, I'll pass if I may. I drink too much coffee for my own good. My wife believes I've become addicted to the stuff. 'Yes, I find my intake is bordering on excessive, if not habitual. (Fixing the Brigadier with a stare) So, how may I help you? Brigadier Colin Fergusson of the Military Police had requested a meeting with Garth Sta
  21. 12.1 Jason tossed and turned in his sleep because something evil was disturbing his slumber. The dorm was quiet, except for the snorts, mumbles, farts, and other noises usually found with males at night-time. It was the wee small hours of the morning, a time when the body finally overcomes sleeplessness and sinks into a merciful sleep. Suddenly Jason woke up alarmed. Danger, his brain screamed danger, but before he could recognize the danger, something was placed over his mouth and nose,

    Chapter 11

Wow, you're so lucky. My mother just called me bad names and then made the local priest visit with me. My father never really spoke to me after. Give your mum a big hug next time you see her.
  24. The Colonels house was two stories, the downstairs containing lounge, family rooms, the Colonels study, kitchen, and laundry, whilst upstairs were the bedrooms and bathrooms. Flushed by the wonderful day he'd had, Kenny was in no mood to tackle his father. He needed to be aggressively angry in order to handle the poisonous confrontation with his Dad. Maybe tomorrow, certainly tomorrow. Opening the front door, he moved into the house proper, and started towards the stairs leading to his bedroom.
