thanks, Reader. i have been struggling lately and we don't know why ... meds, maybe, not sleeping, defo. i got up and wrote a little today. i can feel words building up inside of me.. but they are a whirlpool... a vortex where they appear on the surface but are sucked to the bottom for unknown periods of time. Like the whirlpool at Niagara. that place both frightens and fascinates me. i'm glad you ended up smiling ...

Awww. I am so sorry you had to go through that. Recently been through a thing with someone i've known for years not to do with money, but these things hurt. You care for people, support them and sometimes that's not enough for them. Sometimes our heart gets in the way of our heads. This could have just as easily gone the other way, with the person being honest and paying you back and not feeling entitled. You're a good person rick. Caring and thoughtful. You are only that, never a fool. Let it go, this is not worth the weight to carry around. xoxo

We keep the mushrooms because we both love them... 🍄 In fact we just had them last night! And earlier in the week. Michael will eat them anytime.

i was soooooooooooo tired last night... went to bed. Put on a 6 minute mediation ... i did not hear the full thing. I was out ... slept until just after midnight and was then AWAKE! i read, drank warm milk, tried to sleep again but was awake until after 4am... slept maybe another hour before the alarm went off at 7am. had to get up to call work to get the morning off but felt so shit i booked the day..

What's wrong ... let's see... new meds mess you up... i can't seem to sleep which messes you up went to see my shrink, who i like a lot .. but who really can do nothing for my current messed up state.

nothing wrong with bright and light reading. I saw a few people post stories about the pandemic.. lord.. its the last thing i want to read about ... so yeah some fun is good.

Good editors are a godsend. And writer's ego are their worst enemy during that process. And it is a process. You need talk and listen to your editor. Hopefully you can find someone who is willing to not want to change your voice. You will not always agree but you can be respectful to each other. I've only worked with @Kitt once but it was a good experience.

It's not the best poetry, but it's a good effort! And it made people smile.. so good in that it evoked something .. and laughter is a great thing.
