You take my hand and we walk in fields of flowers
And though it’s winter, deep and bone chilling
You walk in summer in this dream we share
Through my tears, I see you, with me always
And I wonder what you’d be, if you’d lived
But, ever to me, you are young and laughing
I will live, like you asked me to, but … I pray
Pray that this isn’t really all there is
My thoughts stray ... to life and its significance
And how truly littl
i liked this chapter. i liked this group of friends, this family, and their celebration. Thanksgiving isn't such a huge thing here, but we do celebrate a little. It's nice. I hope Grant remembers his moment of jealousy and let's himself see how he really feels.
Brian, for a number of reasons reminds me of my Husband. Massive, gentle, but do not poke the bear or the ones he loves. Not if you're smart.
Very nice chapter. I'm glad the reunion went well. Ha! Troy told Grant off, which was what he should have done.
But the budding friendship/more, does not seem worse for wear.
And their bedtime antics makes it seem they are on the same path albeit at opposite ends of that path.
Thanks, Wayne xo
Poor @Wayne Gray there was nothing but calm, intelligent discussion as we wrote together. I have no idea what he's referring to, splendors and horrors??
I'm sorry you feel i condone violence of any type. i do not. i was a victim of abuse for many years. i have fond memories of my mother, love my mother in law and my female friends and colleagues.
i'm afraid i did not write that violence against anyone is all right. i never would.
Thank you for your comments.
