Gwen was dressed and in full makeup, ready to leave for her job as a dealer in one of the big hotel casinos in Atlantic City. I enjoyed this story. I am married to my Husband/Sir, and we also live with another. Our household is a combo of D/s and Spicy vanilla, but it works for us. As the two couples in this story have discovered, it takes all kinds. In the end, no matter how you live, love is love. Thank you, Secret Author.

Is the line between Erotic vs Romance Fiction story different by Generations?

I agree characters don't need to be like me for me to relate. I know boomers who read and watch all sorts and can relate to people of colour, Gay people, Trans people and werewolves etc. I don't like to pigeon-hole whole generations, I think it depends on the person, not their age, what they relate to or not. -
HAPPY TUESDAY! Today is Andy Warhol's birthday. Yes, he was odd, but also very talented and interesting. I've watched a couple of documentaries about him. They're worth watching if you have a little interest in him. Have a good one!

I have to agree with @Alexmugs. This could be much more than it is. It's very high-level and impersonal, like a report. I want to feel something for these characters, but I don't, and I'm sorry about that. Some scenes where we actually hear from Carver in his own words would make this more sympathetic.

Thanks for your comments! Matt does need help. He especially needs some counselling and some normalcy in his life. Living with his mother will hopefully bring that for him. Andy needs to see Matt for who he is, not what he hoped Matt would be for him. More to come...

When you have no one, getting back on your feet is hard alone. Home means his mother; even as she is, being with her is better than being alone. Fear is the biggest driver of greed. Perhaps Gwen grew up poor. She's not rich now, but some fears stay with us and define our choices and behaviour forever. Let's hope she can be there for her son, when he needs her. Yes. Mayo can go bad. My first experience with food poisoning was a chicken and mayo sandwich. I didn't eat chicken for over a year after that. Keep food in the fridge. LOL. Thanks for reading, Jason. Sorry this wasn't about the hoped for noodle.

Andy has spent too much time alone, with his writing on a windy island and obviously not enough scotch. I think Andy really is clueless when it comes to dealing with Matt. Maybe he thought it a bit much to force a book on Matthew. Matt just got home so it's a bit soon to judge Gwen, but we will see more of Gwen and Matt in the coming chapters. Do you live on an island in the Great Lakes? Each of them has at least one island.

We'll see more of Gwen and what she does or does not do for her son. We'll see if you're right or wrong about Andy helping Matt and if it actually does help. I'm glad you're enjoying the story. You're quite the angler, finding the tangents in the weeds! 🎣🐟

Thank you! You're right Turkey is not a safe place for Matt, and Yusuf saw who his young passenger was and warned him. Matt made the right choice, I think, to go home. Andy isn't the right person to help at this time. Complicated is the perfect word for Matthew's relationship with his mom. Gwen is an anxious, flighty person who never wanted a child but had one for her husband. She doesn't seem to want Matt there but also knows he needs her. Will she step up and be there for her son? We'll learn more in chapter 18. Matt has a lot to sort out. Coming soon! Thanks for your comments!
