Thank you, chris. I do love a love story. Most of my stories are just that. Thanks for your comments!!

Thank you for your kind words. You're right about the envelope. I've never considered a follow-up...but I'll make a note, maybe. Thanks again for reading and your comments.

I've heard of the Secret Garden but do not know the story. The envelope does contain the deed to the house.

You're welcome. It was my pleasure. Readers have great imaginations and don't need every detail nailed down; I love that. I'm sure she misses them and feeding Matt! I am happy to know you enjoyed the story. Thank you for reading it. 💛

Thank you, Parker. I appreciate you reading and supporting this story.

I knew the beginning of this story might be hard for some, and I thought it might stop people from reading further. Maeve and Andy's parents are wonderful people, and we needed some stable heads in this story. I knew you were invested in this story from your comments. That's very humbling for me. I'm glad Gwen surprised you. I think she surprised herself. You're right; Andy is imperfect and messed up, but aren't we all, to a certain extent? Characters have to be real for me, combinations of smart, imperfect, rude, dumb, angry, dense, and so on. I guess I could have written another five or six chapters about Andy and Matt's lives. Who knows? I've said never before and ended up with Changes Again. Who could I bring back.. Kanaan? Dante? Maeve and her sister. Oh, it could be a ride! Thanks for taking this one with me. It was my pleasure, and I'm grateful for your support of this story. 💜

Aw, that's great. Well done, @chris191070 and @BentedWreath, good job. I managed 5 correct, the rest were way off. Thanks @Cia putting this all together. Well done to all the authors who participated.

Yes, it had to come from Matt. Andy told Matt how he felt, and that was all he could do. The rest had to come from Matt. Some stories deserve happy endings. Thanks for reading and supporting this story. 💙

There has to be a driving reason, a story for a second book. I'm not sure what I could follow this with. I have an ember of an idea about writing Dante's story. But embers don't always grow, so I'll leave it for a bit and see what happens. There's a story to prepare for the upcoming Anthology, and I'm two chapters into another story. So we will see. Thanks for reading. I appreciate it.

You're welcome, friend. Yes, Lawrence is Gwen's new partner...married or not, I don't know. As far as I'm aware, Maeve didn't marry, but from how she talked, I'm sure there were men in her life. I don't think there will be more from Andy and Matthew. I think they deserve their peace. Get some rest. Thanks for supporting this story.

Gwen is difficult, that's for sure. But people are complex creatures. Don't worry, you don't have to remember, because someone wrote it all down for you!
-
You're right; Gwen knows she's not a great mother. Based on what she says, she knew that before deciding to have her son. She did that because her husband wanted a child. Now he's dead, and she had to deal with a child on her own. At least now he's an adult...albeit a suffering one. Thanks, Reader xo.

"Have you heard anything from Matthew, Andy?" Maeve asked over their dinner one evening. "You’ve been home a week now." Andrew swallowed before he answered. "Not yet." His eyes met Maeve’s. "It was a nice trip. But I think I hoped too much for a different outcome." "He didn’t feel the same?" Andy looked up from his salmon. "I think he might, but it was too soon. I asked him to email me, but he hasn’t so far." Oh, the poor lad. Poor, both of them. Maeve put down her knife

Writing vs. Editing vs. Beta Reader
Mikiesboy commented on kbois's blog entry in Escaping for just a little while
I agree with you. I've edited some things for people. I don't write things for them; I may suggest things, especially if the author is very new, but they can write them in their own style. -
Here you may enjoy this....

Ditto Flip-Flop's comment! Welcome to the Drop in Centre. We look forward to chatting with you!!

Thank you, Gary. I appreciate you following me and reading my work. I always write my story and some may not like how it ends tomorrow, but i have to write it my way. I'll see you tomorrow, my friend. Thanks again.

Thank you very much, t.n. I agree with most of what you say. There's a lot that isn't right for Andy and Matt right now. However, as you said, they are brave and able to communicate. So, I'll see you tomorrow, t.n. Thank you for your comments, they are much appreciated.

Thank you for your always wonderful comments. I appreciate them very much. You're so right about Matt's dream man and place. We know who and where it is, as does he. But Matt can't grab it when that dream comes true, like many who have the chance to live out a fantasy—for good reasons as well. The heart is willing, but the mind runs screaming in the other direction. One way to find out how it ends is to read it tomorrow. I know you and many others are invested in this story, and you and they have my gratitude for that. I mean that sincerely. For that reason, I decided to post the final chapter tomorrow. It didn't seem fair to hold on to it longer than that. ❣️
