I didn't think they were necessary. Readers have imaginations. I'm sure you can figure out what may have happened, but you will learn of Ahmet's fate in the next chapter.

First, I'm very sorry to hear about your dad. Losing a parent is not an easy thing. When situations force us to, we find the strength to go on. If you don't, you fail, or maybe you die. Your father had been showing you and giving you tools, and when the time came, you were ready to step up and accept your new role. Andy had a nice childhood and has a great, supportive family. He isn't an angel or a demon. He knew the conversation with Tony would be awful and he procrastinated and put it off for way too long. I am a flawed human being, like all of us, some less so or more so. So, that's how I write my characters. They can be weak, strong, a bit dense, or brilliant. In Changes, I wrote about Louis, who is married and strong but has moments of weakness with another man. Readers were furious in some cases because he considered having an affair. But he was under huge stress. An excuse? Weak moral fibre? Rotten, nasty or cruel, or simply a human being? He was also angry with his husband Don, who became disabled. All of us react to changes differently. I'm glad my characters are not perfect because none of us are. Thanks for this Cane23... it was a wonderful thing to wake up to.
