Like you said, you love your characters a bit and some of them I'd rather leave in peace than hurt them or have them die of old age or something. Leave them in peace, as you say. -

The why question wins the most-asked question of the day. The answer will come, but you'll need to figure it out. I'm not telling. I'd be surprised if Mr. Black doesn't know all about Andy. This isn't the kidnapper's first rodeo nor their last. This attitude will probably change upon Andy's arrival—that's an interesting comment. There's more to come—soonish. Lots of great questions, Parker. Things are happening now over which Matt has zero control. Andrew is crazy. I've met monsters and listened to some of the stories Michael could share about them to never want to do what Andrew is. Let's see what happens. More on Saturday.

Okay. Please @kbois is an excellent writer. However, this story is mine—written by myself only. K is a terrific editor, and if you've ever worked with an editor, you know they do not try to change your story or your voice. I have not read the story or character you are referencing. Personally, I find it better not to read others' work when I am writing to ensure I am not influenced by it. It's nice to think @kbois and I think alike in some ways. I killed off a loved character in After The Past. Sometimes, it's necessary, and if you do it, you need to be prepared to write all of the fallout.

Your thoughts about Matt's fate are right on. Andrew has made a dangerous choice. I think once you meet Mr. Black you'll understand. Andrew on the other hand hasn't asked the question you have. Sometimes not asking, is a better option.

They do. There are stories of writers and filmmakers getting interviews with all sorts of criminals and warlords. So, Andrew is joining that group of people, who are braver than i am.
