So excited to see another Charlie adventure. I love this series so much. I sure hope Pacha is ok and the boys and Max all survive the adventure.

I think I mentioned before I started this Series or rather I should say EPIC SAGA on nifty I read at least the first 2 or 3 books from there then somehow lost track of the postings. When I found the GA site I saw there were way more books then I had read and for a while I avoided reading because I knew I was going to have to reread to pick back up on them. Well needless to say I eventually picked back up re-read from the beginning and loved the SAGA from beginning to end just now. These are some of my most favorite characters and its always sad to see a story like this reach its end however everything has an end eventually. I do have to say the title of this book kinda scared me as someone else mentioned "Goodnight My Angel" I swore someone most likely a main character was dying in this book. I am happy that didn't happen of course. I started to figure the title out as I picked up the hints as to what was going on involving Owens sister. Looking forward to any and all new CJ shorts or new book if it ever happens and any new writings you decide. I know you said this was your first fictional story and the first few chapters showed that, however I did see an improvement in your writing over time I never would have thought even from the first couple chapters that this was a new venture for you. Its been one great job from the beginning in my book. Thanks Carlos for sharing your talent with me and the rest of the readers here on GA and anywhere else your stories are found. You are able to give a much needed break for a while out of reality when we really need it. Q

Making Changes - Taking Chances
quttzik commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in Making Changes - Taking Chances
What a wonderful ending I am happy for everyone. Charlie and David married finally. Charlie's new career and his winning of the season on Project Runway. And Sweet sweet Noah and his internship with Mike at the Aquarium. I guess the only thing I am left wondering about is Noah's friend Tim as they were living together in Barnstable and Tim is on the spectrum as well and I can't remember what kind of support system he had aside from his mother but it must have been hard on him when Noah had to move. Noah had basically his whole support system when he relocated Bev, Charlie and his new daddy David so that probably helped to relieve a lot of his stress. And he also had the opportunity to meet with Mikes little brother plus his new school with others on the spectrum to help him. I know I mentioned in my last review but I have loved and enjoyed all the Barnstable stories and the characters I will miss them as this series comes to an end. Thanks again Geoff for sharing your writing talents with us readers. Authors like yourself and others that share on here are able to add a bright spot to peoples days with your stories. I know for me its nice to take a step back and enter another world on occasion. Q -
I came across this new chapter as I am following you and your works. I didn't recognize the story title right off so I went back and read the first chapter and realized I had indeed read it before. I however really did enjoy my re-read as I never even remembered that Ren died near the end and even though I had read it before I Still cried. Really enjoyed seeing Jake able to progress through his grieving and in the end be able to be happy again. I agree no further chapters are necessary as our imagination would be able to allow us to take this story where ever. However I also agree that it would be great to see where you a talented author would take Jake and Martins story. If you do decide to write more of this I know I will be reading if not then Jake and Martins story will continue in my imagination. Thanks Ivor for sharing your talent with us all. Q

You've Got A Friend in Me
quttzik commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in You've Got A Friend in Me
OMG What a sweet tear jerker Happy tears of course. When David first sang to Noah wow. Its nice to see that they have been able to form a bond so quickly. Surely even if there is trouble on the horizon Noah will surely be on the side of David and Charley getting back together. I sure wish there didn't have to be problems because we know its what they both really want but then again the story wouldn't be quite as exciting and interesting. Just hoping that in the end David, Charley and Noah get their happily ever after. Thanks for the stories I know I don't comment much but I have read all the Barnstable Stories and have loved all of them. I even tho I don't always leave a comment appreciate the talent that you and other writers share with us. -
I am all caught up now. I had read Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quite a while ago. And I may have read Travels before as well but I can't remember if I did or not but then I lost track of the story. So a few days ago I got notification of one of the chapters of this new book. I looked and saw there were 9 books out so far and since I couldn't remember for sure where I had left off I re-read the entire story. Some things I re-read were familiar but others I had forgotten so re-reading was a good thing, I have of course read a bunch of different stories between the time spring was written and this book started so of course I forgot things. Great writing on all the books and I have fallen in love with all the main characters it feels like they could be actual friends. I am looking forward now that I am all caught up again to continuing the journey with these fellows. I am just kinda sad I am all caught up and now have to wait for each new installment as a lot of the other stories I was following have concluded or not been updated in quite some time. I need to find new stuff now to read. But really looking forward again to following this guys.

Wow was so surprised to see this here today. I thought the last chapter was it. I was so glad to see the 20 Years on. I am so happy Carter and Riley made it. I knew they would but its always nice to have that closure. Its so great to see Carter and Riley still together and with a child of their own. I am happy to see how Greyson and Riley are working out their issues and becoming closer. I have read a few of your stories and have enjoyed the ones I have read and am still reading. Good Luck in your classes I hope your hard work pays off for you. Also wishing you didn't have to work so hard so you could write more often but we all know that adulting takes work and needs to come ahead of hobbies. I look forward to the time you have off so I can read more from you. Q.

Well I found it it wasnt posted here. The name of the story "A Way Out" Book one. By C.J. Gibb I had the names wrong above also The Walking guy was named Kirk, The fellow on the bike and in the pick up was named Carson. The boy wanting to meet his father was Matt. I don't know how I missed it as it was last updated on Oct 14th with the last chapter of book one. But I read so many stories on so many different sites I often get confused on where I read a story. Thats why I love this site so much because here there is a notification system I always know when a new chapter is posted to a story here I am following. I really thought this story I was looking was here and what made me feel that it just hadnt been updated. Anyway Thanks for those of you who read my message. Have a great day everyone.

Hey everyone. Im back again to ask for help in locating a story. I cannot remember for sure if it was posted here to GA or if it was in fact on SL. However perhaps someone here if it wasnt posted has read it elsewhere and can help me. The story starts out with a guy walking down a road he has apparently been walking for quite some time as he ends up sleeping overnight in a storage shed or barn. When he wakes he starts walking again not really paying attention to anyone or anything until a fellow passes him riding a bike the fellow doesn't stop and is wearing earbuds or headphones as he rides. So the guy continues to walk while he is walking it seems something perhaps a bad break up or a death of a partner is what has caused the turmoil this gentleman is feeling and felt that he just had to get away and walk. Eventually the fellow(Colin Maybe) that was riding the bike later in the afternoon pulls up beside the guy in his pickup truck and offers help to the walking gentleman. After some discussion the man decides to take the offered ride and discovers he walked pretty far from home and with no destination in mind ends up at the fellows house. If I remember correctly they spend a day or 2 there getting to know each other and eventually the Gentleman decides he needs to get back home and back to his job. His job is working in a center that is open afterschool to help children in bad situations as the story goes on He and the Fellow develop a relationship and that continues on thru the fellow heading off to college. In the mean time one of the boys that visit the center frequently gets removed from his mothers care and is placed in foster care. Mike I think is the boys name... Runs away from the foster home and eventually comes back to the center. Eventually he is back with his mom and his mom stops into the center to talk to the Gentleman the boy has been longing to know who his father is but the mother wont tell him because she never told his father he had a son and is not sure how he would react... Well the gentlemen helps the mom see that it needs to happen and arranges for DNA testing to make sure that its the right person. The last chapter I remember reading was a holiday chapter and the Gentleman and Fellow(Colin?) were visiting family and getting ready to tell mike who his father was. At this point the story either didnt continue or I just missed the next update and now can not find the story again. So if anyone has any idea what story this is i would be entirely thankful for the help in re-locating it.

At one point earlier in the story I thought it was implied Sam and Gres were going to get together.... Then after Canada incident that it was Hugh and Gres.... But from reading most of Q's stories realize that that's all we will get is an implied perception. The only story I remember where it was actually expressly stated there was a relation ship was in New Beginnings Huon and I believe it was Michael. Thank Q for another great story.
-
Yes at least Gres wasn't wrongfully locked up as long as Johnny was in the Falsey Accused story.

A great story from start to finish it surely kept me looking forward to usually dreadful Monday's. I will echo the words of a few of the others that perhaps it would be nice sometime in the future to visit these folks again in even a short story with the wedding and or the adoption. Thanks for sharing your creativity with all of us. Q

After a bit more research and remembering the harbor bit I have changed my guess on cities it has been mentioned in other posts Im going boston also. This was some rougher research but I finally came up with one big clue I couldn't really find info on in the other states I had posted previously. So I am now going Boston and somewhere from 1975 to 1988. 1988 being the closest I could come to the phones in Mass being all transfered to a Quarter.
-
Oh yeah I forgot that little bit of info.

Was doing a bit of research and came up with a Route 93 running from Arizona up through Nevada Idaho Montana and into and ending in Alberta Canada. In 1981 there were still 28 states only charging a dime for a payphone call and most of those were in effect until around 1985 from the research I have been able to find the states that 93 run thru fall into these 28 states so some time prior to 1985 is when the story took place I am guessing.

Somehow I was expecting the island to be the one from NB New Direction. Since Huon's death I thought perhaps Kyle or Sabastian decided to sell it. Thanks for another great story.

Certianly not leaving the story. As a matter of fact I was really missing it when you were taking a break. I'm glad you are back and once again writing more to this tale. Still unsure of why this chapter seemed so familiar to me I went back and re read a few chapters to see but the ideas I'm thinking I had read before aren't in other chapters not that I could find anyway. It's no big deal to me however it's just a really weird feeling. Looking forward to future chapters keep up the great writing Jim Shawn

I have really enjoyed this story so far been many feelings from fear to out right joy thanks for the story and the time you give of yourself for the readers enjoyment. I am seriously having a moment of Deja Vu tho I swear to god I have read this chapter before even tho it was posted only today. There were several parts I have remembered reading however also a few parts that felt new..... Don't know how that happened as I know im not one of your editors or beta readers LOL. Not had anything like this happen before but the parts that im having Deja Vu on I swear were word for word something I have read previously.... Perhaps my imagination is just that great that I was able to write this chapter before you did LOL.... Its funny I don't think I could ever write a story I don't have the ambition to do the research and fact finding study required to do so.... However occasionally with stories I really do like I find myself as I am just coming in to consciousness upon waking that I am writing next chapters to such stories in my head. Usually never close to what the next chapter is tho. And never can fully remember what I had come up with once I am fully awake.

A Very Special Boy (Part Three & Epilogue)
quttzik commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in A Very Special Boy (Part Three & Epilogue)
I too needed tissues such a lovely ending to such a great story. So glad they were able to adopt Noah there probably would not have been anyone else able to take the proper care and Noah would have ended up in a group home. Looking forward to Vic's story. im wondering now tho will we see a story line for Noah and Timmy? I would like to hear more about them and how they are making it in the world. They for sure are a couple of special boys/men now. -
A Very Special Boy (Part Two)
quttzik commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in A Very Special Boy (Part Two)
Oh no poor poor Noah. If anyone is able to help its gonna be Charlie and Jacob. So thankful that they already have a connection with him and that Noah is comfortable with them so much so that his noise stops with Charlie. It could turn out so bad for Noah if Charlie wasn't able to foster or perhaps even adopt. So many tears this chapter from happy ones with the wedding to sad ones for Noah and his mother at the end. Geoff keep up the great writing I'm sure I will be reading all that you post. -
A Very Special Boy (Part One)
quttzik commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in A Very Special Boy (Part One)
From the descriptions I have read and heard from some in the spectrum is that there is a constant static like sound in there mind they liken it to a radio station the closer you are to the station location the clearer it is the farther away from the station the more static there is or the louder the static is. Its this static that overwhelms the mind at time and causes them not to function as normally they would or if they are around people they trust. Folks in the spectrum can be at any level of Autism thats why they have assigned the term spectrum to it. Some not as incapacitated by it as others but normally most in all ranges have a talent something that really stands out about them such as music or art some are number wizards. I would imagine some have the ability to read people as well and Charlie has a heart of gold and these 2 can feel that and hence why the static stops when around him they feel perfectly comfortable with him. Im not an expert on Autism Spectrum and I hope I have not said anything to offend anyone this is like I said just somethings I have read and heard from a couple I used to know in the Spectrum and how they explained some things to me. Geoff i'm sorry I have slacked in giving any response so far to this story or the previous story.... I sometimes become slack in sharing my comments to the wonderful authors who give of their time to offer us enjoyment. Your stories have been an absolute enjoyment to me. I have followed you from the time I first started reading about Cam and Ian and have enjoyed this story as well and as was stated by others I am sad to hear that this is coming to a close but I look forward to any other stories you continue to share with us your avid readers. Thanks for what you do. -
Hunan gets all pissed off because the captain wanted him to join them for lunch without discussing it with him first..... But he is all thrilled to death when the farmer gets him permanent residence status at fulkland isle with out his knowledge go figure.
