I'm on Randy's side on this one - unless asked, Tyler shouldn't say anything. Though, I'm not really worried about Ariel's reaction, especially if they brace him for it. He's all lovey dovey, he probably won't make a big deal out of it I'm eagerly waiting for the next chapter *wink wink*

Damn, I had missed this one! A really sweet chapter, Ryan is really caring and lovely I concur with tor, I would LOVE to see a spinoff about Cody - not necessarily with Sean, though

Though, I have to say that snakes don't really scare me. I find it weird that they walk on their tummy but well, I can live with it. Spiders? Those things are way too bizarre, they freak the hell out of me. And as a general rule, anything having more than 4 legs is just plain evil to me

Hehe yeah I heard about this many times and it's really credible. Though, I prefer to see it as a gift - even if for my cat it means supporting a disabled hooman

Congratulations for your first chapter! Now, it's well-known (or at least it is, now) that I suck at reviewing, so I'll keep it short. There's quite a bunch of things happening in this chapter and it gives a solid setup for what-next. Jumping right into action was a good stand. I concurr with Cynus about the guitar, I would have expected him to realize his loss sooner - but that's definitely not a big deal. I also think you'd benefit from making the most of commas, paragraph breaks - some are quite frightening at first sight ; generally speaking, ponctuation. A very good point though (IMO), is that when you mentioned MC looking for a second-hand guitar online, I thought the seller would be the "boy who just might be able to turn around a lifetime [...]". I was glad to be surprised and that you chose to make us wait a bit. Waiting for the next one! FM

The worst advice I think was given to me by my parents. "Don't wander alone in the streets or the gay bears will catch you" Okay, they actually meant predators but I thought for years that gay bears were actually wandering the streets The best one...Well, not the best one, but a precious one given by a former manager of mine after I sent him a mail that almost got me fired: "Never ever send an email when you're upset or angry. Write it, and let it sit in the drafts until the day after - odds are you won't send it as it is." Also.. "Never go grocery shopping when you're hungry" but this one, I've never managed to follow it

Thanks, Robert! Lucas' dad is indeed one of a kind. I don't think he's *really* putting much effort into reaching his son. As he said, he chose a way and sticks with it - no matter if it's the wrong one. Glad you liked the chapter
