Okay, I'm not the only one who thought there might be something going on between Tommy's mother and PF. He was trying to calm her down, so wouldn't be that much of a stretch for him to do so with his mouth. Plus there was a few moments of alarm after his initial confusion. Perhaps he saw more of Tommy's mother and PF than he wanted to. I wonder who he would have taken the evidence to first. Hopefully, he's safe. I mean, he was able to send off two text messages before going off the radar. I do not like this cliffy. Not. At. All. Also, I wonder how long Matty will wait before he tries showing Chuck the spot under the bleachers. Wait! Doesn't David turn off his phone when he's meditating? Maybe he's asking Putin who best to turn this new information over to.

I was fucking in love with this story when I first read it, and I love it even more now. Mike is a total sweetheart, and we've all been in his shoes. Love sucks when it falls out and you suddenly have to re-calibrate everything to account for that emptiness. But, I think Mike will have the HEA he deserves in due time.

Hm. Laurel did invite Efrain to live with them so he'd erase Jameson from the house. If that means personally re-christening each room with baby-gravy, then so be it. Ya know. I think I like the idea of the barely-legal fuck-a-thon pushing the limits of Indie's recent personality adjustment. I'm sure we've all had that one TA/professor/teacher (I've uhm kinda sorta a little maybe, but just that one time been that teacher >.>), so empathy and all those feels. But don't worry, Indie was still being an ass Besides, it just wouldn't feel right if all it took to melt SouthPole was a couple go-rounds with a vocal power bottom. Preston has always been vain, we've just never been allowed to see under that. I guess the same can be said for Indie. It's weird, but there are things I meant to do with their characters, but when it got down to it, something else emerged. Next chapter? Oh boy. Am I still allowed to blame delays on other members?

I really have to fight the urge to rake Jameson over the coals. But, we still got some drama to work through before there can be happy endings all around. For some reason, all my guys are quick to jump in bed, but slow to work on love. Not like I have any personal experience with this, mind you...

I wonder if David is casually kissing others in order to convince himself that kissing Twoey is completely innocent. If so, I think Chuck would gladly volunteer as tribute to help him keep up the lie. It's interesting that Matty is showing an interest in Chuck, seeing as how David has had fantasies about both of them. I'm still think it's either masturbation telepathy or David's telepathic projection of his repressed sexual desire. Or, it could be that Matty has impeccable gaydar. Perhaps he also has esp - like claircognizance that manifests as an infallible ability to identify other gay guys.

Okay. We know that David has telepathic abilities, and has been able to communicate with an unconscious Twoey during meditation. Could it be possible for him to have like masturbation telepathy? I mean, fantasies are meditative, and if Chuck and Matty just happened to be "meditating" at the same time, could that explain why they've been able to invade David's shower time? Also, just how many gaydars does he have to ping on before he finally figures it out himself? AND, there either must be something in the water for that many gay/bi/fluid characters to exist in one place at the same time. Maybe David's telepathy is causing his unfulfilled and unrecognized sexual desires to be projecting onto the guys around him. I mean, even Tommy is being affected! Oh man, that would mean, it's David who is intruding on Chuck and Matty during their uhm "meditation"! #gayilluminati

Chapters 1-7 are actually combined chapters (originally down from 14), I used "parts" to preserve the original names. Preston wasn't really supposed to last beyond his role in this chapter, but I loved writing in his voice too much.

Small dog syndrome - big attitude and big heart.

It's strange how they just -work- as a pairing. Not even I know if they'll be a romantic couple, but Preston and Indie complement each other quite well.

Abusers have quite a few tools in their arsenal - chipping away at your confidence until you feel too small and powerless to escape just happens to be one of them. One of the reasons victims don't leave is that they don't think they have the strength to do so. Jameson happens to be very good at the things he does.

I really loved that. And I am glad that they understand thier own inclinations enough to have established a "safe word". From the chapter warning, I genuinely feared Wolfie would go too far. I would hate to see either of them hurt by something as avoidable as "bedroom" miscommunication. Indie, even with the outward evidence of blue hair and piercings, I did not guess his insecurities ran so deeply. And when attack twink calls him a friend ... lol ... not typical romance ... I hope Preston is good for Indie. I hope Indie can be good for Preston. If you write a sequel Dayne, the very unoriginal title "odd couple" may be worth considering ... Thanks for the great story and all the fish ... I considered making their stuff a spin-off story, but the guys are just too close. Perhaps, I should follow up with them as adults.
