  1. Hey again, Terry! We're doing well, thanks. Strawberry season is officially in full swing, and Max is loving every moment of it! In the last few weeks, I've made strawberry-mint ice pops, strawberry panna cotta, and even strawberry crepes trying to appease him. Now, today I'm making shortcake again. Max's sudden growth spurt means he's had to adjust some of his movements to adapt for his longer legs and new center of gravity. Otherwise, there hasn’t been much change in his schedule and routine. Max enjoyed the summer camp that he attended last year, and he's been asking to join again this year. I'm happy that he's taking his training so seriously, but I'd like him to have some fun with his family and friends, too.
  2. @raven1 Hey, Terry! I see the Texas Tyrant, Napoleon Blown-apart, is keeping you busy! How are you and Aod?
  3. Because it's you. I started watching Gameboys: Level Up Edition on Netflix. I had to call it a night after two episodes, but it's good, so far.
  4. That episode of Avatar is so underrated.
  5. How many hours have you spent watching Korean BL dramas today?
  6. Hey, Spike! Here's the recipe I like to use: https://www.cookingclassy.com/carrot-sheet-cake/
  7. Well, the neighbors returned home today. I talked to the two boys when they were done unloading the luggage from the car. Their relative was, I gather, "a lot to deal with". The host mom apologized profusely to Sascha for leaving him, especially on his last week in America. He was surprisingly okay with the whole situation, and he said that he enjoyed spending time with Morgan, Max and I. The neighbors are planning a party on Friday to send Sascha off, before he leaves on Saturday. They'll invite a few of his friends from school, and some buddies from the rowing team. I've decided to contribute a carrot cake for the occasion, which Sascha said he was interested to try. I believe the rest of the menu will be BBQ, potato salad, coleslaw, etc.
  8. A match made in arrogance.
  9. For @Drew Espinosa and @spike382.
  10. I believe so. You might be able to stream it on Amazon. Or check YouTube.
  11. One of my favorite movies for Pride month. It shows adolescence in a very....visceral light, that straight and queer people alike will find highly relatable. Some scenes are sweet, some are awkward and cringe-y, but you'll be emotionally rattled through the whole film. The ending is bittersweet, but it serves as a reminder that life doesn't always work the way we wish it would.
  12. So that explains the smell of roasted ham...
  13. @clochette Hey, Tink! How are you?
  14. We had ham and Gruyere crepes for dinner, with asparagus and Hollandaise sauce.
  15. Morgan says I should do lunges to stay in shape. That would be a big step forward.
  16. That's not what I meant, and you know it!
  17. How many pages will I find when I return from work, I wonder?
  18. The only thing I would plot is better ways to tease you.
