  1. Happy Holidays, everyone.
  2. Hey, Raven! Happy Holidays to you and Aod.
  3. Hey, Adi. Merry Christmas! 🎄
  4. Some may recall this snapshot I took at a department store a while ago. Well, the reason I took the photo is because the lad looked familiar, but I couldn't place where I'd seen him before. Tonight, it dawned on me: his name is Gavin Casalegno. Aside from modelling, he's starred in a movie or two. As Dugh might say, he's terribly pretty.
  5. Hey, Albert.
  6. It's happened to all of us.
  7. Doing well, thanks.
  8. What do you look for in Urban Fantasy stories? What could the literary world use more of? For myself, I'd like to see more stories where magic is public knowledge, and integrated into mainstream society. I want to see elves using smartphones and posting selfies. Sirens singing in punk rock bands. A Wiccan barista who adds a shot of "Confidence" to a Chai Latte before your MC sits down to take those Nastily Exhausting Wizards Tests. What if Spam mail could cause hexes, or place a curse on someone you didn't like? If you have any ideas for ways that the Urban Fantasy genre could be improved, feel free to share them with us!
  9. We appreciate all of your hard work, Comsie. Thank you for making the effort to keep us entertained, especially during these trying times. Some people just aren't happy unless they're miserable. Screw 'em!
  10. Hey, Val. How is everything in Valhalla?
  11. Yup, everything is going great.
  12. You know I'm married, right? I'm basically Switzerland.
  13. Hey, Dugh and Mum.
  14. Only from watching the two original movies.
  15. Max's ballet group had their seasonal performance today, and now they'll be on break until January. It was lovely to watch.
  16. Hannibal Lecter once killed a flautist from the Baltimore Philharmonic Orchestra and served him to the board of directors. He claimed it was a public service, because it improved the sound quality of the orchestra.
  17. As @Drew Espinosa would say, Y'all are nuts!
  18. This coming Wednesday for Max and I.
  19. The Outlaws Scarlett and Browne, by Jonathan Stroud Set in a fragmented future England, The Outlaws Scarlett and Browne introduces us to a world where gunfights and monsters collide, and where the formidable outlaw Scarlett McCain fights daily against the odds. When she discovers a wrecked coach on a lonely road, there is only one survivor – the seemingly hapless youth, Albert Browne. Against her instincts, Scarlett agrees to escort him to safety. This is a mistake. Soon, new and implacable enemies are on her heels. As a relentless pursuit continues across the broken landscape of England, Scarlett must fight to uncover the secrets of Albert’s past – and come to terms with the implications of her own.
  20. @Comicality Two songs at once?! Christmas came early!
  21. There was quite a blanket of snow on the ground last week, but most of it has melted off. Last night, Max crawled into bed with Morgan and I because the wind was blowing so hard, and it scared him. No snow, just heavy wind. It hasn't let up at all today. Such odd weather for December.
  22. What was that for?!
  23. Poor Albert will be so disappointed.
