  1. Is that Xavi Sanchez on the cover?
  2. I'm reading a book called "The Extraordinaries", by TJ Klune. A nerdy, very un-extraordinary guy named Nick writes fan fiction stories about superheroes. Until he meets Shadow Star, his town's most famous superhuman (and Nick's secret crush). Suddenly, Nick doesn't want to just write about superheroes; he wants to LIVE as one of them. I'm also writing a short story about a young man who meets a boy with autism/Asperger's Syndrome. The "special" boy believes that he's actually The Little Prince, from Asteroid B-612.
  3. Hey, guys! Sorry I haven't been online lately. Been busy with a new book.
  4. Nope. I believe the term was "sheep shaggers".
  5. There's a term of endearment for New Zealanders that makes use of the word 'sheep'. I can't recall it now, but maybe re-reading Circumnavigation will jog my memory.

  11. Hey, Dugh and Thistle. *scratches Thistle behind the ears*
  12. I've always wanted to set a story in a Nordic country like Greenland or Iceland. There's something beautiful about such a harsh, barren landscape. Baldur Einarsson, age 17-18 (currently). He starred in the 2016 movie Heartstone. (AKA Hjartasteinn).
  13. I love watermelon in the summer. Watermelon-Mint lemonade, watermelon shaved ice, watermelon and Feta salad....Delicious!
  14. We had beef tostadas and cilantro-lime rice.
  15. We had grilled ham-and-cheese sandwiches with pickle slices and kettle chips. Chocolate chip cookies for dessert. https://joythebaker.com/2011/10/grilled-ham-cheese-pickle-and-potato-chip-sandwich/ https://www.craftycookingmama.com/big-jumbo-chewy-chocolate-chip-cookies/
  16. Non-Australian Person: "Ugh! We had a hailstorm last night, but luckily, nothing was too badly damaged." Australian Person: "Oh, yeah, those spikes can be really killer!" Non-Australian Person: "The what, now?"
  17. Yup, all's well here.
  18. Hey, Marty. Hey, Albert. Hey, Gary. How's Cookie?
  19. Hey, Dugh and Thistle. *scratches for Thistle* I hope your head feels better.
