  1. Yeah, they focus on quality over quantity. I have yet to find a dish I don't like on their menu.
  2. Sounds good. We're going to 7 Monks Taproom.

  7. I'd send you some sunshine, but the tradeoff would be heavy gusts of powdery snow. Hey, Marty.
  8. Hey, Clo. Went to Culver's and had a Butter Burger for lunch. It was my first time, and daaaaay-YUM, was it good! I saw two lads about Mickey's age sitting at a booth, flirting and texting. One of them reached across the table and took hold of the other boy's hand. He just kind of stroked it with his thumb a couple of times. The look they gave each other was just Hey, Cassie. Hey, Bertie. Hey, Gary.
  9. Sorry to hear about the bad weather, Bertie.
  10. When Scotty was scrambling around in his bedroom, I thought he might be trying to get his Avengers™ undies untangled or something. He's such a funny kid, but really sweet and thoughtful. He has it soooo bad for Tristan, it's almost painfully endearing to watch. Now we just have to wait until next month, for the chapter where Artie and Scotty FINALLY meet each other! I think maybe Scotty's mom knows more about him than she lets on, but Tristan's mom is unreadable. Maybe they could get together and have a cookout or something.
  11. Poor Buckie. I'll make some chamomile tea for you. Hey, Marty! Sounds like things are going well. Is there anything better than the smell of freshly baked bread?
  12. What? Provolone has a very mild, buttery flavor, especially when melted. Paired with the chocolate and cream cheese, it practically disappears.
  13. I've made a "grilled cheese" sandwich with chocolate chips, cream cheese, and smoked Provolone, so it could definitely work.
  14. We had "Spam and Eggs" Fried Rice.
  15. The Gravity of Us, by Phil Stamper. As a successful social media journalist with half a million followers, seventeen-year-old Cal is used to sharing his life online. But when his pilot father is selected for a highly publicized NASA mission to Mars, Cal and his family relocate from Brooklyn to Houston and are thrust into a media circus. Amidst the chaos, Cal meets sensitive and mysterious Leon, another “Astrokid,” and finds himself falling head over heels—fast. As the frenzy around the mission grows, so does their connection. But when secrets about the program are uncovered, Cal must find a way to reveal the truth without hurting the people who have become most important to him.
  16. Hey, Gary. I want something homey and comforting.
  17. We're making Croque Monsieur for dinner tonight.
  18. Hey, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches for Thistle* Hope you feel better, Dugh. Hey, Bertie. How are you and Steve?
  19. Hey, Cassie, my lovely queen!
