  1. Hold onto your hats....They also have mint-flavored toothpicks.
  2. Hey, Albert. Hey, Gary. Morgan and I took Mickey, Remy, and Rory out to dinner at 7 Monks Taproom. Morgan had tacos, Mickey and I had the Abbey burger, and Remy had the Bacon Jam Burger. Rory had the Monk 'n Cheese.
  3. Not quite. I've never fallen out of my chair.
  4. Hey, Albert. Happy Birthday, Dugh! I found a cake dressed in plaid fondant.
  5. Hey, Bumble B.
  6. Ugh. I just found out that Horizon Books will be closing next month. It's been standing in that building for as long as I can remember, and now, suddenly, it's going out of business. There's other bookstores of course, but none of them have such an extensive inventory.
  7. God Bless the Irwin family, at least. Like father, like son.
  8. Thanks, Dugh. I'll pass along the sentiment. Hey, Albert. Happy New Year!
  9. Sorry to hear that.
  10. Hey, Albert. I hope Steve feels better soon.
  11. Hey, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. Happy New Year to you, if you don't show up later.
  12. I spoke too soon. It started snowing yesterday.
  13. Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny starts out with two characters, a brother and sister. You can play as male or female, but thanks to a magical accident, the other sibling will co-habit their twin's body near the beginning of the story. Both siblings can date bachelor/ettes, but the system only corresponds to "hetero" relationships. I guess, technically, the host body could be considered polyamorous? I haven't played more than a chapter or two into the storyline, however, since the only copy available to me is a library rental. I also enjoy interactive novels, the "choose your own adventure" stories. Usually, you can play as male, female, trans, non-binary, gay, straight, bi, or ace. However, the romantic interests in most of these games seem to be constrained to one or two character archetypes, which I find rather boring. Other than that, I don't know much more about LGBT representation in video games.
  14. Just dried, whole grapes.
  15. I had a blend called "Canadian Ice Wine". Black tea with freeze-dried grapes. Very tasty.
  16. Hey, Buckie.
  17. Hey, Cassie, my lovely queen! I never would've thought tomatoes and sweet potatoes could go together.
  18. A High Five for Glenn Burke, by Phil Bildner. I'm really looking forward to reading this one. It will be released February 11th, 2020. A sixth-grade boy does a class presentation on Glenn Burke, the inventor of the "high five" and Major League baseball's first openly gay player in the 70's. This project leads the tween on the path to discover some things about himself, as well.
  19. A comic book of Ruel? I'd be the second subscriber to that magazine!
