  1. Sorry to hear that, Bertie. I was all ready to start building my garden, but winter is clinging onto us like a needy ex!
  2. Something else for dessert.
  3. Hey, Bertie. We're having BBQ ham sandwiches. Salad of mustard greens, goat cheese, and pecans in raspberry-balsamic vinaigrette on the side.
  4. Lovely, I'm sure.
  5. We're doing well. Morgan is at work, I got some laundry done, and Sneakers is sleeping in his basket near my chair. As for Mickey, I have no news yet. He usually sends me an email after school, though.
  6. Hey, Randy. How's the family? Hey, Froggy. Hey, Gary.
  7. I wouldn't know. I've never read that one.
  8. Oh, but aside from that, I just started reading Totally Joe, by James Howe. "Meet Joe Bunch. Loveable misfit and celebrity wannabe from Paintbrush Falls, New York. Like his longtime best friends Addie, Skeezie, and Bobby, Joe's been called names all his life. So when he's given the assignment to write his autobiography--the story of his life from A to Z--Joe has his doubts. This whole thing could be serious ammunition for bullying if it fell into the wrong hands. But Joe discovers there's more to the assignment--and his life--than meets the eye. Especially when he gets to the letter C, which stands for Colin Briggs, the coolest guy in the seventh grade (seriously)--and Joe's secret boyfriend. By the time Joe gets to the letter Z, he's pretty much bared his soul about everything. And Joe's okay with that because he likes who he is. He's Totally Joe, and that's the best thing for him to be."
  9. This is Kind of an Epic Love Story, by Kheryn Callender. Finally finished it...after four months of stalling. All I can say is, I'm glad it's only a library book, and that I didn't spend money on it. "This is Kind of an Epic Disappointment" would be a better way to describe it.
  10. Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! Yes, I'm sure. I woke up around 2:00 a.m. to pee, and then I checked on the guest room. The boys were knocked out, with their arms around each other.
  11. Maybe I can convince Morgan or Mickey to try a kilt.
  12. Nope, no Croque Monsieur....and no bacon-sprinkled bun. The other day, I had a batch of fries from BK which were "well done". Not burnt, but cooked to the point where the outside starts to turn brown, like old-fashioned crisps. Best. Fries. EVER!
  13. Evening, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches for Thistle*
  14. Hey, Albert. How are you and Steve faring?
  15. Um, can we stop with the GIFs? I noticed my browser taking longer to load when I hit "refresh".
  16. A t-shirt on Amazon reads: Gay Agenda Equal Rights Social Acceptance Brunch
  17. Here's my imagination, featuring Morgan and I at the summer fair.
  18. Nope, he and Remy were snuggled up for a sleepover. But thanks, now I have an idea for summer vacation this year.
  19. I meant, you guys are all nuts. Hey, Albert. How's you and Steve?
