I finished the latest episode of Andi Mack. Cyrus' family was sitting shiva after his grandma passed away. Traditionally, the meal at a shiva is served by the friends and relatives of the immediate family. Customarily, the menu includes bread, cooked veggies, hard-boiled eggs, coffee, and tea. TJ showed up at the last minute, holding a loaf of Challah bread.
I adopted a baby skunk after I found him on my front porch one morning, paralyzed by fear and pain. Wrapped him in a towel and took him to a wildlife veterinarian. She patched him up and then, strangely, removed his scent gland without consulting anyone. Now he's my pet.
This young man has such endurance, strength, and flexibility. You can see him smile as he twists and turns through his aerial acrobatics, adding another dimension of passionate beauty to his performance. He looks like he could kill someone with his biceps, until you see what a sweetheart he is.
Sadly for Sneakers, human food isn't good for skunks. Or dogs, for that matter. He likes some grubs or nightcrawlers with his dinner, or maybe a bit of raw chicken with the fat trimmed off.
