Nice. My aunt has a house that's from the early 1900's, but it's definitely seen better days.

I know, me too! I love the ones where historic buildings get restored, instead of creating "trendy" or "chic" styles. Like, there's one show that's set in Vegas? They always make the houses look like a party pad for college kids on Spring Break. Yeck!

Actually, ham comes from the rump/rear thighs of the pig. Canadian bacon, AKA back bacon, is cut near the spine, I understand. "Peameal" bacon was originally crusted with dried peas to help preserve it, but these days, cornmeal gets used instead.

Wow. The Mackinac bridge is shut down today, because of high winds and poor visibility. That almost never happens.
