  1. That show is so underrated.
  2. I hope you have more than just a snack. Be sure to eat a good meal.
  3. If memory serves me correctly, there were Dwarves, Elves, Humans, and a Maiar/Wizard involved in the journey. It wasn't just Sam and Frodo who saved everyone; As Craig said, it was a team effort.
  4. This is as close as I could find to "You can go shave your hairy Hobbit feet now."
  5. I remember seeing a film called Flyboys, which takes place during the first war. Before America officially entered the war, a number of men volunteered themselves for the French Air Service.
  6. Hey, Craig. I'm well aware of European viewpoints on American involvement in WWII. Which is why you'll never see me lord it over any of my friends across the pond.
  7. At least we know to leave snails in the garden where they belong, instead of putting them on our dinner plates.
  8. @MrM It feels like Mason's musical style has started leaning towards Elvis Presley, lately. And that's not a bad thing.
  9. Well, not the hat, but you're pretty close.
  10. @clochette Oh, I see you already got some ham. Great minds think alike, I guess. In that case, I guess I'll just bring the dessert: cheesecake!
  11. I'll bring some nice slices of ham.
  12. He's being just as logical, reasonable, and compromising as you've been.
  13. Everything you 'cook' looks like you made it while blindfolded.
  14. Our thoughts are with you and your family, Gary.
  15. Some can be super-salty, especially if the bacon is smoked. Cooking methods are a factor, too. In my experience, cooking bacon on a sheet pan in the oven gives a better result than frying it in a skillet.
  16. I did the same thing, once. I was at the bus station, sitting in a chair, and the vending machines were directly in front of me. I was feeling parched, and I thought to myself, "I haven't had a Mountain Dew in a long time. Probably been years." So, I fed some money into the machine, got my drink, and returned to my chair. After opening it, I took one long swig---and immediately spat it out, cartoon style. Some other people were giving me weird looks, so I said, "Now I remember why I stopped drinking this stuff; it tastes like battery acid." I put the cap back on the container and threw it in the trash can afterwards.
  17. @dughlas Hey, Dugh and Mum! Glad to hear that all is well. Also, I nearly forgot about these guys. The video is a bit old, but it's still good for a laugh.
