Better idea: I'm thirteen years old. My parents take me on vacation to Saugatuck. Morgan is one of the year-round residents, and he charms me with his guitar playing, as well as his ability to pilot a sailboat.

Morgan's the guitar player. And we didn't meet again after that summer, until ten years later.

Morgan and I were married in 2017. June 24th is our wedding anniversary.

I started playing a game called Chants of Sennaar. In the temple-city of Sennaar, there is a caste system in which the different classes have been scattered and divided, much like the Tower of Babel. You walk around the city, reading street signs and inscriptions in wall murals, to decipher the local languages. Understanding the city and its peoples will advance the story.

Halloween was great! We had some of Max's friends and their parents over for a dinner party, of sorts. It was pretty cold outside, so they had to wear coats over their costumes, but everyone still had fun! And no, I didn't steal Max's chocolate. I bought my own supply when it went on clearance, like any reasonable adult.

If I could have just one wish, I think I'd like to open a bakery. Once a week, or every two weeks, I'll bake a sheet cake or some cookies to share with my co-workers. And the treats always get lots of positive reviews. I love baking, so why not make some money while I'm doing it? Only problem, I don't have a lot of money to start up a business. And I'm not very good with the money I do have. And I have no idea what kind of bakery I would run. Okay, so there's a few problems. But with that said, I would love to make a career out of a hobby! I'll figure something out and make the dream come true! -

We had an earlier dinner last night. The menu included: Poison Ivy - Sweet and sour kale salad Pretzel Mummies - Hot dogs wrapped in pretzel pastry. I used ketchup and mustard to draw Egyptian hieroglyphs on them, with sliced olives for eyes. Potato ghosts - Cottage fries, cut length-ways, with little faces cut into the ends. Dino Digger's Delight - Pumpkin and Chocolate Tiramisu. I put paper cutouts on top before I added the cocoa powder. The "void spots" look like dinosaur tracks and bones. White Witch's Brew - Horchata
