  1. You're the expert in flimsy logic.
  2. I'll have to check it out.
  3. According to the HE calendar (Holocene Era or Human Era), the current year is 12023. This marks the period when humans transitioned from hunting and gathering, into an agricultural society with more permanent settlements.
  4. I don't know what that is.
  5. Sorry, Nicky. Max is dressing up as a jester this year.
  6. We're doing well, thanks. Max is eagerly anticipating Halloween in three days' time. For him, I think it's less about the candy and more about dressing up in costume. (!!!) I know, I know! What kid doesn't get excited about candy? Oh, but other than that, I think I'll make pumpkin French toast for breakfast tomorrow.
  7. Hey, Terry! Me, three! It never made it into the films, though. I guess some people might think the film makers were "pushing an agenda".
  8. Hey, Tea Bat! Max is allergic to turkey, as it happens. So, for Thanksgiving, we often do a roasted chicken, Cornish hens, or a baked ham instead. Could be a fun idea to have a Chinese-themed menu this year.
  9. Glad you had a good time, Terry. Way to go on the pool table! Yeah, Max is too fond of frogs as an animal lover, to ever eat one. Chinese duck, on the other hand, is something he's been keen to try for a while now. I'd rather order it from a restaurant, since it takes quite a bit of work to prepare.
  10. Hey, Terry! Yeah, we survived another episode of The Drew and Spike Show (featuring guest star Clochette). How are you and Aod?
  11. Good night, Nicky.
  12. I was only joking. Even Max wouldn't eat frog legs. He has, however, been asking for Chinese-style roasted duck.
  13. Don't give me an excuse to cook the frog legs Max has been begging for!
  14. Sorry, can't do it today. Maybe tomorrow, when Morgan, Max and I can host you together as a family.
  15. Morgan isn't interested.
  16. Hey, Terry! Just wanted to say good night on my way out the door. I'm off to bed.
  17. Reminds me of the "Goosebumps" series of books by R.L. Stine. In every book, you think the ending is going to turn out okay, but then there's a plot twist that isn't so good for the MC. I can't say I'm really into horror stories, but I DID enjoy the movie "Violent Night". It's like an R-rated version of Home Alone!
  18. That reminds me, I dated a guy in my senior year of high school who had a twin brother.
  19. Some people are more versatile than others.
  20. Good one, Nicky! *high five*
  21. We're doing well, thanks. We'll be doing our grocery shopping tonight, after dinner. Max has his annual physical checkup on Saturday, and I promised him we'd go for cider and donuts afterwards. For now, though, I'll do some laundry, feed Sneakers, and then maybe do a bit of dusting around the house.
  22. @raven1 Hey, Terry! Hope you and Aod are well.
  23. I'm so sorry for your loss, Gary.
