You always leave your stories open for more. That's not meant as a negative. You make me want to know what happened next. I wish you did sequels hehehe.
I don't know about a beat down, but if he goes anywhere near Kevin, he'll have his older brother, Sean's dad, and Robert all over his ass...and I'm with TJ, I felt sorry for Mel for about 3/10 of a second, then I remembered how big of a bia she is
well that went about as good as could be expected...Daniel's reaction was almost like losing someone that is more than just a friend...does he have a crush on Nathan???
you know...there needs to be a male version of "Goodbye Earl" by the Dixie Chicks.....but that wouldn't be PC because of the domestic violence implications
but the State of Texas doesn't listen to minors most of the time. Things are starting to change, depending on the judge/mediator you get. Most family court judges in the State of Texas though think the child's place is with his/her mother. There's no such thing father's rights. The only thing fathers are good for in Texas is to pay child support, and the circumstances and wishes of the minor aren't of importance.
Mel's master plan will come out....sometime. Kevin's father is going to be TROUBLE maybe...hopefully Uncle Ronnie (head coach at the high school and much bigger brother) will talk him out of doing something stupid
It was hard for me to keep this one this short. Someone told me that my chapters were too long, so I tried for something smaller
Glad you liked it! I couldn't not put Kevin and Josh together....I think my favorite line from this chapter is "All I’m saying is Chihuahua and Rottweiler."
Thanks for reading! I think "You Never Even Call Me By My Name" by David Allen Coe would be a good song to be playing and I can promise both Sean and TJ have that in their playlist.
TJ
Chapter 5
Josh and I went into the house through the garage. Robert was in the living room waiting for us, along with a man with dark hair, wearing a black suit. As we approached he said, “Hello Josh. And you must be TJ. Both Robert and my daughter have told me quite a bit about you.”
Robert must have seen the puzzlement on my face. “Teej, this is Patrick Landrum, my, well our, lawyer.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, sir,” I responded while extending my hand.
He grippe
The only thing I want to say is- you keep referring to a bridal party.....there wasn't a bride.....so there's no bridal party......wedding party probably would work better
wow.....thank you for sharing this.....it helps me remember that even though we've seen shit in our lives, we're here now to help each process it all. In some ways, your story isn't different than mine even though they are nowhere near the same....just know that we're here for you whenever you need help processing and getting out what needs to be purged
Okay
Now....today was Saturday, so next time one could assume would be Sunday and "Little-Miss-Holier-Than-Thou" will want to go to church and bring her sinful son along with her....and guess who'll be there??? None other than the boy whom Billy's mom thinks he should be best friends with. I'm sure the sermon will be on the evils of homosexuality.....this is all speculation of course....I don't know for sure....but am I close???
