I was having major writer's block and couldn't even begin Chapter 6 of TJ....Then I started this story and wrote all of this first chapter in one sitting...as soon as I decided to stop, I had 12 pages of Chapter 6 written before I knew it

He's intentionally avoiding doing Step 8.....he is avoiding making that list and he is nowhere near becoming willing to contact anyone that might be on the list. Pete will try to convince to keep moving forward, but I think it's going to be up to Ryan to convince him he needs to forgive himself for hurting TJ before their relationship can go any further

Scott's story is going to continue but probably won't be as long as TJ's at all....There's going to be a phone call made in both stories (Chapter 2 of Scott and Chapter 7 of TJ) and then eventually a meeting in person (but that won't happen until December in the timeline so it's a few months away still )

Making amends to someone is more than simply telling them "I'm sorry." It's acknowledging your flaws to someone that you wronged, admitting exactly what your wrongs were, and promising that person you will live your life trying your hardest to not hurt someone else like that. You're promising them you will try to live a better life. After Scott hurt TJ, his life quickly spiraled out of control. Now, he has an awesome sponsor, an awesome boyfriend (who is his sponsor's younger brother), and working The Steps (until he reaches The Eighth Step). Will he find the strength to try and contact TJ again to make amends for what he did?

my question is why is it that sometimes the text shows up dark when you change the contrast??? it does that in some of my chapters but not in all....I think it does it when I choose the remove formatting button

I think Ryder was cut off before he could reveal his greatest fear- I believe he was about to say "What if I reach that point." His grandma compares him to his father all the time, so he's afraid that his illness will get the better of him one day and kill him.

GA changed my life and my opinion of myself. In the past, I was told that I wrote great research papers, but I had never tried to write anything creative/fiction. I still struggle with being too technical in my stories (ie writing as if my audience was a college professor instead of general public). But, I would like to think I'm getting better with the help of people from the community. @Mikiesboy and @Kitt have both been very helpful in getting my stories to the level they are. Thank y'all for the site, I plan on being here for as long as y'all will have me. -

Is it just me or is Anton seeming like a stuck-up snob sometimes......Plus where the heck does he get this endless supply of money to spend on salaries, the farm, upgrades to the boat, sending people on fully paid trips for three weeks at a time, also....is he 17 or 19 years old or is he 40-50 years old? He doesn't act anywhere near his age....in fact none of the characters do.

there's absolutely no way Billy can demand any paternity test... he's not involved... the mother or guardian of a minor are the only ones who can ask a judge to court order a paternity test

but the lawyer doesn't threaten unless he has something to hold over the other's head...he has information to blackmail everyone in the town, so if they back up Billy, their secrets come out
