I go away for a weekend & find 3 chapters posted! Well, that was a roller coaster and a half, from Russian revolution & hookups to Marcel's cabin boy with benefits. It's like Dynasty without the shoulder-pads! I think Marcel & Max would make the perfect couple though, as long as Max could get over his dependency on the shit-head Lark. The chemistry seems to be there in spades, so will be interesting to see where this goes. Was glad to see JP grovel for once, I think that's a first in the whole series. But whilst his behavior was usual for him, it doesn't necessarily make it ok. Well done Mark. Excellent as always.

Another French ship captured, Travers injured then parted from Granger again, the captain having his wicked way with Georgie, then the promotion! That was a lot to cram in! Did I miss anything out?! Excellent story Mark, I love the way you pay attention to detail, but nothing is ever OTT. Looking forward to the Wardroom now.

AVG do have serious probs with Vista. I have Norton on both of mine and it runs perfectly, got it for a bargain on ebay. Oh, don't get Panda if you do change, I had a few issues with downloads I couldn't resolve. Ain't Vista grand?!

Not at all, it just getting tiresome. Every time you open the paper she's in it, & frankly it's getting old already. The competition proper hasn't even started yet, I hate to think what's it's going to be like when it does. I believe there are other equally deserving & maybe more talented contestants who are being sidelined by this media circus. Do you not think they deserve an opportunity as well?

I'm a gym bunny as well I'm afraid. I do eat properly during the day, but sometimes it's nice to splurge out on something bad. But it always finds its way to places I'd rather it wouldn't! So the gym keeps the unwanted flabby bits at bay, while still allowing the occasional treat.

So Travers is gone, I do wonder if we'll see him again, or if we do, weather he will still feel the same for Granger. On the plus side he at least passed his Lieutenants exam, not that there was any doubt, but what a surprise to find Captain Wilcox hovering around, ready to shit in Georges cream tea! The old fart showed himself up though. How did he ever make Captain, not knowing east from west....ass! Locks like old Georgie boy could be married off to the buxom wench Caroline, looks like a good match, with one exception, she has no willy! She seems like a feisty one though. So war is declared, and the captain fires the first shot in Granger! That's the kinda war I like! Awesome again Mark.

Well. this chapter was action packed! Good to see Bertie & George make up after the Christmas disaster, I genuinely thought he was going to cause all sorts of problems for Granger. Instead we got a little bit of a reveal on what Freddie is really like behind the facade, doesn't look good does it? Good on Bertie for giving up gambling, I think the whores & drinking would've been a bit of a push! Be good to see the guy make good in India, though if my history is correct, there could be turbulent times ahead there! Damn Frenchies are at it again, good on 'em for blowing that ship outta the water :2hands: . I do believe we're in for a few more like that. :ranger: Can't believe Travers & Granger are being split up! It sorta had to happen at one stage I suppose, at least Travers got made Captain, & Granger got promoted to Lieutenant. With war looming though, do I smell death in the air for a main character?
