I just find this totally unbelievable. Here we are in 2009 & a company like Amazon pulls a stunt like this! I for one don't believe for a second that a 'glitch' was the cause, because it seems to be a specifically aimed 'glitch'. My account is now closed with them as well.

I truly believe this is becoming the Adam Lambert show! Amazing again. Is it me or is this the most predictable Idol ever? Looks like it was the kiss of death saying Lil was the dark horse, doing a bad impression of Tina Turner is going to get her nowhere. As for Scott going, Scott who?

Well, after a few days having a look at this I'm underwhelmed. It looks like vista but with the ability to use touchscreen & a few pretty touches here & there. When we really put it through it's paces with a high end graphics card & game, guess what? It crashed, 3 times. We gave up after the 3rd crash. Vista oddly enough runs this perfectly. So if your a fan of online gaming I would avoid this like the plague until these issues are sorted out. Also being able to run seperate windows at the same time is not new, also vista. The installation incidently took forever, just over an hour. The networking interface is a huge improvement though with the homegroup so you can share files etc with other PC's with a individual passkey needed for each PC to log on. On the plus side it starts up faster than any OS I've seen, very impressive. Also the power management is a huge improvement turning off ports when not in use. It's more aesthetically pleasing than Vista & the desktop is more functional. In my opinion give this 6 months after release before you even touch it. That way they should have ironed the bugs which are still very much evident.

Actually I do have one more, I was only really reminded by a comment in another thread. Liver or any other kind of offal. I cannot have it in the house, the sight or smell of it really makes me nauseous.

I toss all the time, in fact I believe my other half tosses more often than I do.

Well it looks like Wilcox got what he deserved & not before time too, blow jobs for sabotage, whoever heard of such a thing! I wouldn't have thought that's the last we've seen of him though, he's gotta be boiling over in resentment. I can't work out Travers at all, one minute he's all over Granger the next he's infatuated with the french officer! Though it's difficult to tell if he was sleeping with him, but certainly wouldn't be surprised. George needs to keep flirting to give him a dose of his own medicine. Great chapter once more.

It sounds to me like you'll be picking up the pieces when this jerk dumps him again. What more can you say to him though without him getting really defensive? Sometimes people have to make thier own mistakes, even for the second time!

The chapter I meant to say when Travers & Granger got in on was 4. Yay, got it right! Another great chapter & Georgie finally gets his man. I do worry about this jealous streak that Travers has, I wonder if that will come into play sometime down the road. Wilcox I think is going to be a real problem, there is some scheming going on somewhere, & no doubt it's some revenge thing between the families. Hahaha, Had a chuckle at the Doctor at the beginning of the chapter, where he just poked to see if he was all right. Just reminded me of the old Doc I had when I was a kid, used to give you aspirin for almost every ailment!

If you want a blunt honest opinion, get over it. Ok, here's the way I see it, & I'm not going to sugar coat it for you, because you need a serious reality check I think. You were a hook up for this guy, nothing more. He was probably expecting to sleep with you the night he met you, & good for you, you didn't. Otherwise we could be having a whole different conversation! I don't think you love this guy, you're certainly infatuated with him though. Do yourself a huge favour, throw away his number, delete it from your cell phone & move on. What you have to remember, for every guy like this, there will be someone out there who will take your call & will want to go on a date. So don't give up.

Excellent chapter Mark. I think this was more about emotions than events & a horny boy of course! What I thought was perhaps an infatuation on Marcel's part with JP, is in fact the real thing! But I was right in what I said before, it really is only a summer thing. After that they both have to come to terms with the inevitability of what will happen, which in a way is very sad. I think this is going to be an emotional one boys & girls, better strap in, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

I'll say Georgie & Iggy worked it out, several times in fact! I think your right he will pop up now & again in the story. I'm trying to work out what Travers problem is with Granger, & have a therory. We know Travers is attracted to George, but I really do think he's afraid to act on it when he's sober. Either because he hasn't come to terms with his sexuality, or he's terrified of being caught! Or both! lol Great chapter though. Yay pirates. Yarrrgh mates :chris: Ummm, maybe not! Nautical Joke for ya: A large Humpback whale is lazily enjoying a beautiful day when he sees a female Humpback whale just a little ways off, and he thinks to himself that he's going to try to impress her... He swims over and breeches the surface, showing off the large hump on his back. She looked unimpressed as she breached and showed a larger more well formed hump herself. Now, a little embarrassed, he tries again to impress her by taking a breath and blowing a huge cloud of mist and water with a really nice rainbow in it. Once again she looked unimpressed and she blew a larger cloud of mist, with a more beautiful rainbow. Now clearly agitated, the Male sees a Navel vessel in the distance and races off toward it. Just before he collides with the ship, he dives, jumps out of the water and as he sails over the bow of the ship, he plucks a sailor off the deck and in one gulp swallows him whole! He swam back to her very proud of himself, only to find the female object of his attentions with a disgusted look on her face... As she swam off she said..."I'll Hump, I'll Blow, But I do not swallow seamen.

We just had the OS delivered today, but have been totally rushed off my feet. With a bit of luck I'll be able to load it on our test machine tomorrow. I hope they have rectified that update, otherwise I could be getting the BSOD as well! But we have been assured that that 'little blip' has been sorted! Where have I heard that before? lol
