Isn't it great to get a story finished? You read and re-read the wretched thing until the text blurs into one indecipherable mess; make the final corrections – for the present; take a deep breath; then send it off to your editor. That's how it felt one Monday afternoon when my latest piece whizzed off into the ether to get red-penned. The relief was almost palpable. Writing a Dracula mash-up is not the most sensible thing to do perhaps. Especially when one of the principal characters takes exception to the tale. A response to one of Cia's writing games.

tim's story is well worth the read. I haven't tried the others yet - an antho entry is demanding all my attention. But zombies can make for a good read any day. World War Z started me off.

asymptotes? As usual with any of your scientific / maths-derived poems, it matters not that I don't know some of the words. As other have said, the real meaning is clear and that's what counts. -
What a wonderful thought. It was a Christmas prompt so there's the glitter and sparkle from that, plus the pantomime theme of people assuming different appearances. As you say, fairy tale.
