Has Shannon consumed her 15 minutes of fame as a plot device, unrelated to the main story arc ahead? I am more interested in how Trevor acts and learns on his internship now. The group's story should be fascinating. I expect they will recapture lots of stolen funds and I hope they financially ruin the individuals and their businesses of the evil McKinney family recipients. The pack can use the money. Trevor will have learned much. Now for a wild idea---I hope that Trevor is not put of a new track and asked to infiltrate a right-wing group when the packs fears an attack and needs better intelligence. Trevor is new to the area and likely not known to the extremists. The government is known to infiltrate extremist groups and if Trevor gets involved, he could be identified and put on a terrorist list and maybe later kicked out of Harvard.

Zhiv wisely wants to not have an interview with Earth Girl. He realizes the mara is not giving him advice now. However, he is worried that David and he might not be together forever as they dreamed about. He is worried about changes caused by others. Meanwhile, David's parents discuss David's asking about gay sex. They accept he might be gay but thing he is too young to actually practice anal sex. They will help educate David. River meets with David and asks for forgiveness. David forgives him and River joins them for a vegan meal. A university researcher is studying animal -human interaction. Jana mountain is now the subject of his research. He meets up with the social worker at a campsite. They will team up to find Sol or Zhiv. The social worker wants to take him in custody and put him in foster care. She portends a sad ending for Zhiv away from the mara as he fears. Could the researcher save him?

OK Mark--we hope you publish a new chapter soon and end our musings. You can elegantly create the answers and tell us what George and Caroline are going to do with each other.

If Shannon was a McKinney plant at Harvard, I expect Trevor will find out about her connection and any financial support she received through his work with the team seeking out the family money. I expect someone on the financial team will tell Trevor about her because of their unusual shared Harvard connection. Heck, he might even research her on his own. With a college connection Trevor can have a reason now to see if Shannon has a family relationship with the McKinney's. Trevor will be extra wary of her when he returns. But, then if she is funded by the evil family, Trevor maybe have destroyed their finances enough to cost her funding for college so she might have to stay in Cailfornia.

Trevor is taking part in a serious, uncommonly demanding internship with experts and hopefully should get results. Too much has been stolen over a 20 year period by the evil family and its relatives. The money has been deeply hidden and dispersed. He came prepared with specially designed software and impressed the Lycan Council experts. Trevor demonstrated what he could do almost instantly with his laptop and quickly came up with the same answer faster than the experts in the room had done. One team leader wants him on his investigations versus doing menial , normal internship-type work. Trevor is going to get good , solid practical training in analyzing and tracking financial crimes from the best--According to The Alpha story-- "Alpha Stockdale and the Lycan Council have loaned us some of their people to recover the money Levi’s family stole from the pack.” I hope they get lots of resources back to help the impoverished pack in California. The only concern with this activity I see for Trevor is how he will be able to document his internship for credit with his MBA program and keep any lycan involvement from being discovered. Trevor will also have lots of fun when not working since that is his engaging nature and likely be a prime playful target for others since he is new meat for the male and female shifters and humans. We will have the chance to see who interests him now that Shannon is out of the picture and it appears no trans person is in the pack's area.

You can feel the mixed emotions and unexplained reasons for distances. The fog seems to be a signal for emotions or ? It is hard like Rich's relatives at this point. I hope to find out why Rich is in pain soon.

I also want to see how you take this story along with your new interests. You wonder why Rich chose these folks to help him somewhat in his grief and why he is so hurt.

Jude has not reformed. He can cause trouble for David. River has reformed and become a vegan, He confessed to David's dad and wants to be a friend to David, He might stand in the way of any punishment Jude wants to inflict on David. David's dad met Sol's foster parents. They regretted taking him to the pig farm and would welcome him back and would be more careful in the future. This could be a safety valve if he is arrested or captured by humans. Others are very mad at his efforts to save pigs. They might want to do him harm. Earth Girl is planning on asking David more questions and wants to make a new vid that she hopes will be even more popular. Her vid might win support for Zhiv's causes as well make him a target for haters. David and Zhiv are still innocent about gay a sex and do not feel a need to experiment. They do want to live together for ever.

Trevor's ready to get to work on tracking the funds stolen by the McKinley's. He has special, very capable software designed with a friend which will help the financial crimes team of the local pack . He answered a question very quickly using his laptop. The boss was impressed and wants his software. The pack is hurting from the loss of the stolen money. Getting the money back will make a huge difference, I bet. Trevor is asked about his sexuality and if he will be influenced by being around so many gay shifters, He says he is confident in his sexuality and is not worried. " I’m mostly happy with the women I’ve been with. Pretty sure the way things went down with the girl from school has me wondering if a guy would just be less hassle.” Trevor’s laugh was relaxed." His is ready to move on from Shannon and not look back. As a new guy, he might have an open field to play with women in the area.

Novo has some really bad haunting dreams of evil incarnate. The pledges have not bonded or learned their lessons fully yet. "Well, hopefully, y’all learn to trust each other quick because your survival now relies on each other. I am impressed with the turnarounds in attitude and life directions for the good, River and Jeremy have become real friends and not tormented. River knows he has wronged David and will try to act in a better manner David's father corrected Jude who realizes he has to stop his sexual predator activities or end up in jail. It is a shame Ricky died not properly caring for the pigs. The freed pigs with Zhiv's help and finding a way to freedom. The sheriff takes Zhiv's side in the dispute with the pigs and other animals. He now understands all are joining to protect each other.He is worried about Zhiv and if he can maintain his independence. David is talking with Earth Girl to get Zhiv's message out. But increased publicity might activate the child safety officials to demand he be captured and returned into foster care

Michigan's fight song--Hail to the Victors--is one of the great memorable college tunes that energizes the crowd. The marching band --seen above--and the football team are an awesome pair. Ronnie belongs to a wonderful winning tradition that will positively impact his life forever.

More growing and bonding experiences through watching appropriate TV and sports. An 85 inch TV would be awesome viewing with the events coming to life in vivid detail and depth. Ronnie has to be a spectacular, super competent player to be placed on the field on his first game with Michigan. Earning two touchdowns would cement his place on the team. Colin and Armand are adapting to their kids going to college. Things are changing and not being fought.

Blowing the plane up on the ground is more in the nature of a terrorist statement that is mean to terrorize the public --if it was intentional and not premature. It also could be a very public and ham-handed way to let someone--like Daddy Buck-- know that he is in danger and kill someone valuable to him to get hm to agree with them--like the horsehead in the Godfather. Daddy Buck is an asshole and must have lots of enemies. He is in the construction business which can deal with organized crime. The FBI, homeland security and local police and the NTSB will be on this. Who was killed? Did someone on the crew stay on the ground ? Did anyone not return on the plane's new flight back ?The site is contained and the explosive device and detonator can be found and all the people involved will be investigated. Travis and Daddy Buck will be grilled. If Daddy Buck did this, he going to be found out , I bet, and face the full force of the law. Daddy Buck must have insured the plane. He will not suffer financially or worry about the loss of the plane in crude terms. He would have to hide any complicity with the plot. The better bomb option would have been to blow the plane while it is high in the air. Finding parts of the plane and bomb would be very difficult. Also, everyone inside definitely would be killed. I am assuming the bomb was not set off by a suicide bomber. Bombs can have denotators set to explode when the airplane reaches a certain altitude or after a certain time has passed. I note Daddy Buck was mad at Travis for delaying the take off. Did he know about the bomb deadline? If Travis and not Daddy Buck was the target, Travis needs to find out what is going on. He might be still a target for killing Travis at least needs to make some changes to be safe. When he thinks about it after reflecting on his hurt at being so hated by his dad as he thinks he is, Travis might get very scared. Jake likely will be asked to investigate for the family. He can also help Travis out with security if Will asks him, I bet

David and Zhiv are in sync and have expressed their love for each other, As for sex, they are innocent and unaware. They will move ahead by trial and error, it seems. Otherwise, things are in motion. The social worker will not give up finding Sol. The loss of bees has seriously hurt a farmer and his crops. The insects and man are co-dependent. River is coming home and Jude may be seeking him out. They may not get along well, now. David has fully confided with his mother about Zhiv. He needs to talk to his dad very soon. What Zhiv or at least David will say to Earth Girl could be misinterpreted and explosive.

Madam Lavigne was a grand lady who was wonderfully accepted by all and acted as a wise teacher. She made a wonderful impact and expanded their horizons of all she contacted. I hope she returns to visit and teach and relax She must have also leaned a bit of another language, English, so she can better relate. College is a time for transitions to real adulthood. Colin has been very helpful. Armand has been reluctant to let go but he finally accepts that changes are happening.

We all noticed the two contrasting, almost surreal parts--the outrageous action at the museum and the diner and the plane explosion. Mark, you have really made a dramatic impact. The full nature will not revealed for a chapter or two I will take what you said about the impact of magic mushrooms are truthful since they are out of my experience. The boys prospered and were outgoing and amazing and lucky. Bellona was impressed along with Lagerfeld and Patrick I am awaiting what photo and film and maybe media evidence shows I hope they did not look too wasted. JJ was pleased at the end and thanked them for coming. The brothers bonded. It is stunning that the plane blew up at the airport and Travis immediately thinks his father did it because he really hates him. Did his father really do it or was it an enemy of Travis or his father? Blowing up a plane has to be for a serious reason--more than simple hared. What an expensive, terrible step that will certainly be investigated by serious legal agencies. Will noticed the pilots did not come out to take the luggage and it annoyed him as a lack of courtesy. Were they actually away from the plane either being kidnaped or aware of the bomb and fled the scene. This will be noticed by the FBI, etc. Now the follow on action will be very important. What will Travis do to be safe? He is saddened and hurt. What next will his father do? What will his mother do? He chewed him out for being late so his father is in track with his actions. If his father was behind the explosion, he has to be careful because any new effort to kill Travis will look very suspicious and he will be seen as having a motive. Will has serious family and foundation matters to handle. He has to let all know about the explosion and get their reactions. Will Jake be tasked to investigate before any specific steps are taken? Darius was an add on to the plane but he could have been killed. Brad and others will be mad and concerned about Daddy Buck

Looks like divorce is not in the cards. So if they don't work it out , George is stuck in sexless, lifeless marriage with a woman he cannot trust with more reasons to seek out male companionship, social events and overseas duty. He may need to replace Caroline as manager of his funds, too. But, I am assuming the worst. I am very apprehensive at this point and have had too much time to think,I suppose. Time to relax with a good cigar and fine bourbon.

Thanks--What an awesome, well described fierce fight between Frood, club wielding barbarian runt and Micha, the sassy, techno outfitted warrior. For most of the battle, Micha seemed to be winning, Frood could not stop Micha and was dominated. At the end, Frood was seemingly stopped by poison and lost for sure. Onlookers counted him out. But he would not give up. He had to win. He charged up his magic and club. He sprung forth surprisingly and won the fight by knocking Micha out of the ring. Hooray! Now Rafe is set to fight next and wants revenge very badly.

If George cannot come to an acceptable solution with Caroline after her prolonged, public affair and a full discussion with her, I think he should consider the simplest solution after thinking about it for a while : a divorce. Twice she has failed him with public affairs. He forgave her the first time. Will she fight for her marriage and George? He would get the children. She would be taken out of his will to a main degree. Her affair would affect and lower the amount of any annuity he would give her. She could move to her late father's estate which she is now managing and acting as trustee for her oldest son. She will be free to have as many affairs as she wants now, Maybe, one of her lovers will want to marry her or she might dream about it happening.

Please keep the battles and momentum going--Eventually I am hoping for a passionate love scene you write so well

It could have been terrible after the party mess--but it was not Good moves all around for the main characters Matty and Rusty shared great blow jobs as Rusty fingered Matty's ass. They kissed and kissed and loved all their moves. Matty felt it but did not tell Rusty he loved him---that would have been explosive. Rusty spent the night sleeping with Matty and woke up refreshed and happy--decidedly so. He upset Matty's returning room mate who did not recognize him. Rusty's upbeat , smiling return to his home shocked his roommates. This was a new after sex Rusty. Only Jonathan knew who his partner was and later went into his room to have a meaningful talk with Rusty, Some problem areas--Rusty felt a familiarity with Rusty and has not yet connected it to catboy. Matty has given his heart to Rusty and could be hurt by him. The roommate could later realize the bed mate was Rusty and spread the story around. Rusty has yet to understand and accept his strong feelings for Matty and may not willingly make the leap with hurt opening up between the two. Rusty needs Jonathan's advice.

Great news that the vid of Zhiv saving the pigs became popular and influential. People joined animal rights groups. The sheriff was impressed. A decision to search intensely for Sol was delayed. Parts of the incident at the gravel pit are becoming known. River is very distressed at what he tried to do and now realizes David saved his life. Jude made up an unconvincing tale. David's father helps interview Jude. His father promises to keep investigating to find out what happened . I am sure he will ask his son. He has his underpants which implies he was naked. If David tells him of the sexual attack the matter will explode. He can thread the needle and take the momentum towards a nature story. David can say he was saved before anything happened by animals and wasps and birds and the snakes. He is their friend.

Is Shannon as a vocal lesbian more of a plot device , a McGuffin or a shiny object that distracts, and not central to Trevor's main story in this book? McGuffin : an object, event, or character in a film or story that serves to set and keep the plot in motion despite usually lacking intrinsic importance
