Things are getting intense with attacks on humans in other parts of the country. Hector has met with David and is going to see Zhiv along with Melissa, the earth girl . She is going to film their visit in the hopes of getting Zhiv's message out. This visit and its follow on message are very critical. Things need to calm down. Jude's treatment of Nicky was disgusting, Jude needs to be punished as soon as possible and kept away from Nicky. I hope some animal or two hurts him when he acts cruelly to them. He is out of control.

Marc and Sawyer have come to an understanding. They will have to work out times and places to me and carry out their wishes and wants. Sawyer has the right bed. Lots of people will be in the way. Rachel is going to be very disappointed. Maybe others will be, too, when the nature of their relationship becomes known.

I hope Sidney has a robust cyber defense team with the best protective software. If not, they better get protection fast. The more successful her efforts are the more visible they could become and attract cyber attacks like ransomware blackmailing the Pack and related entities from the McKinney's. Sidney has already failed a simple guideline. She allowed an outside computer--Trevor's laptop-to access her system without checking is first to see if he had any spyware.

That is, the ones who don’t accidentally fall into a wood chipper and had a will leaving everything to the pack.” I like the brief discussion of what happens to the thieves who directly or indirectly stole the pack's money. I think they should be more than retrieving the funds stolen. They should ruin and impoverish the recipients and any McKinney's along the chain that has helped hidden the funds. They can assume the funds owned or held by the McKinney's are all stolen and should be returned. For example, the person or persons who bought the condo in Florida with stolen money should have their identity stolen, a 100% mortgage taken out on the condo, their personal and business and retirement accounts depleted, their credit cards reported as stolen and hence canceled and their vehicles reported stolen. Also, they should be put on the TSA no fly list as known associates of terrorists. They will be left fully in financial distress and unable to move about. As you can tell, I would enjoy hearing more about the extent and magnitude of the actions taken on the thieves. They should be punished.

More good times --Trevor is really fitting in at work and earned his moment in the spotlight by finding a hidden $4 million not noticed by others. His team leader was impressed. A co-worker suggested Trevor could get a job offer from the accounting firm by summer's end. He demurred and said he owed his allegiance to his alpha's' and their needs. Trevor and Cassidy enjoyed a lake event with her friends. He stood out as a prize and even found some shifters present. Cassidy and he found time to have sex by the water in private. The one discordant note was hearing that Cassidy and her brother exchanges harsh words and are not friendly at all. Maybe, Trevor will find out more later. A return home led to a run by the Alphas and Trevor and their guards and friends. The trip reached a very scenic spot that was touching and had emotional weight as the late Alpha's favorite place. BTW--nice way to bring up the author and editor. Their stories are definitely worth reading. Trevor does not want to be called an "asshole" and he said he would check them out. Good. We will be looking for his reaction later in a future chapter.

I really like Armand's insight---"Everyone has a right hand, Colin was mine." They are a very good team and the trip is starting off well. GG is helping, too.

Now we know what has destroyed Rich. He is true love died in accident on the ski slopes nearby. He has not recovered and still has painful nightmares. He has not found a path forward. Will he find help where he is staying now?

Granger with his friends and supporters survived a mishap in the House of Lords, a political battle was won by him. A bill to rename his eldest son was introduced and surprised him and was defeated. His wife and father supported the bill and did not inform him. It seems there might be a fight over his son's new estate by a contesting family who lost out, The renaming was proposed to placate them, but it might not. They want the estate and will keep scheming . Caroline's political instincts were very poor in backing the renaming solution. Her affair is weakening her. Now, we have another reason Caroline has not returned. She did not want Granger to find out about her plan--His father did not protect him, too. His father did not alert him since he apparently wanted the bill to pass without his objection. Is his father mad over Granger's refusal to share Lady Kendal's estate with him and his other son? Granger will be further estranged from his father. If the bill had been delayed as a minor matter like normal, Granger would have already left the chamber. Admiral Nelson's admission to the House of Lords was a lucky event for Granger. Granger needs to find out about the Kendal estate soon and meet with the lawyer. He stood up to Lord St Vincent in the presence of Lord Spencer and told him his accusations leveled at him when in Russia were base and wrong. He expressed he was very upset. When asked by Lord St Vincent to meet with him to talk about the Russan Navy, Granger requested the questions be sent to him in writing and he would reply. Any meeting or reconciliation between the two should not happen soon. Will Granger be needed for another matter on shore at some point that might spur Lord St Vincent on? Granger knows he has little hope of a sea command after the letter sent to hm so he is standing up for what he thinks is right--just after he was truly upset by the scheming against him in the House of Lords. Lord St Vincent probably has not been rebuffed by a Captain like this before.

He fell asleep and his parents went to bed to consider what they learned tomorrow. Things will get more complicated soon when the search of the park begins.

NOTE : “Zach’s truck caught on fire and burned up. Plus it destroyed two cars next to it,” he said. He was full of outrage and directed those comments at me. “Evidently someone canceled his insurance and didn’t tell him.” I looked at him with disdain. “I couldn’t care less.” No one was hurt in Zach's car or in the other two burned. Zach must not have been in the car or he would be injured in some way. If the fire was intended to hurt him, it was poorly handled. If it was meant to scare him or punish him, it succeeded. We do not know the real circumstances. We know Zach is now aware he lacks insurance and was shaken up. Why should Will pay for his insurance ? Maybe Frank can buy him a new truck and cover his insurance now. Will is accused as causing the fires but he was far away in NYC. I do not think Will was responsible the fires. He has given no indication he was thinking about it, planning it or even anticipating it when he arrived home. He seems truly surprised at this car/truck news. On reflection, he might be pleased. It is fitting, though, that the fire destroyed their last key physical connection and left Zach adrift in the area which requires a vehicle to survive. My money for the truck/car burning is on Daddy Buck who hates gays and wants Zach away from his daughter and family. He might well have been behind the plane explosion, too. It is hard to accept both are coincidences. Since this was almost a surgical strike and Zach was not hurt, as a lesser probability, it might have been someone who independently sought to get revenge for Will's trauma and bruises. Jake or Brad come to mind. Darius found out about Will's bruises and trauma on the plane, He could have later called Brad and asked Brad and Jake to help him work through his severe trauma when he returned to Escorial.

BTW--I love the term "wiggles" for frotting. It is so innocent and charming and a special term right now just for David and Zhiv.

Has anyone else noted the irony or lack of self awareness in Will over his opposition to being tracked on his phone without his knowledge and approval? His first major investment is made into the developing Facebook and later Meta. Facebook makes tons of money by knowing everything about its users and being paid to exploit this knowledge. Location is only one small datapoint captured and used. When Will fully realizes what Facebook does will he sell all or part of his stock when he can or maybe ask that it be clearer about what it does to users and get their approval ? The process cannot be stopped and will be expanded to make more money. It is euphemistically called monetization. It is the way Facebook acquires revenue and makes a fortune. By holding onto his stock and keeping it at the same level of ownership he could eventually be worth over $20 billion.

Things are coming together. Celia and Hector see Zhiv and David acting carefree surrounded by supportive beings in nature, Thye like what they see and hate to hurt the boys. They are confused. Now they will be surprised to meet David at dinner tonight. The conversation should be very enlightening for all. The secret of Zhiv should come out, I bet. Zhiv and David talk about River. Zhiv suggests David take River into the mara a few times to see if he is truthful and wants to help them. David starts before dinner, Zhiv says they need more friends. Sadly, animals are now attacked and killing humans. No one knows why. Maybe, Zhiv needs to get his message out.

Will arrives to the table and is accused at blowing up Zach's truck. He steams at the accusation. What a great family fight at Escorial over the tracking system! A solution was hammered out but hard feelings continued Will only mentioned the plane explosion at the end when he was terribly worked up and collapsed. He woke up in the hospital with a friend who is counselor. They discussed the situation and Will is diagnosed with having a type of blackout. He was terribly worried about losing Travis, but more so Darius. Will is allowed to leave the hospital if he continues with his counselling and his friend will help him. With some more time and by talking with Stef, Grand, Brad and Jake he might better handle his stress and analyze what is happening and what to do. I hope Jake can find out about the reasons for the plane explosion. Does Zach's car explosion have any connection to the plane explosion? Is Daddy Buck trying to get rid of both guys? He hates gays.

I want to salute the writer. I imagine we are soon going to get into the nitty gritty of the pursuit the McKinney's and the stolen money. There could be many fascinating puzzles to solve and interesting personal stories. The pursuit could be detailed and vicious. Hey, the wolf shifters should naturally be going after the throats of the ones who held stolen funds and impoverished the pack. But for now, you gave us a charming, happy picture of Trevor a week after he arrived comfortably engaging with a likeable sexy female who lives outside of his workplace. She wants to be with him and is sexually playful with him. They are in sync. He is clear he is in town for just three months. They can have an exciting time for one week, two weeks or for all the time he is in town. The short time span can make the passion they share even more intense. With this chapter as background, we can believe he is going to have a healthy, well rounded life separate from his work. It means he can likely handle tough work issues with grace, too. Trevor has shown he is intelligent and congenial and very secure with who he is and does not drop names and is naturally discrete.

The explosion of the Buck jet at a NY Airport would be major news with a number of legal agencies involved to and likely be placed on the national news. I expect Stef of Brad or Jake, etc, would call Will to ask how he and Darius were. Will's report and input that Travis thinks his father wanted to kill him by blowing up the plane might start Jake being asked to investigate the matter right away. Things could speed at home. Jake might also have updated information that night for dinner. Like all things with serious clashes or disasters, the first information is not conclusive or misleading. We are discussing theories about who was responsible. Conclusive evidence is not yet available. It will take time for the situation to settle and assess the possibilities. Someone may still be in danger. I am still worried that Travis might be the one most in danger and needs protection. What will Daddy Buck say and do when Travis returns home?

So Connor has arisen and is now the voice of reason and prudery and opposing sexual freedom and drinking. Sounds underneath like a religious fundamentalist without the language of religion, it seems. He might make strangely it seems a good conservative Christian or Mormon and would attract them. Zoey and Matty are going to hear him speak to find out what he wants. Zoey thinks he is going to make Rusty his symbol of debauchery who has to be stopped to not hurt the women on campus. Matty could warn Rusty. Will Rusty be followed and hounded as Connor makes his point by having a prominent enemy or opponent? Meanwhile, Rusty is very happy with his relationship with Matty at this point. He opened up to Johathan with no worries about Matty reading him wrongly. We will see.... Maddox takes Rusty to his high quality voice lessons. Rusty is interrupted on the way by a call from his dad reminding him of his half-brother's upcoming birthday. Rusty is reluctant to attend since his dad missed his many times and shows he cares more for his new family. I think Rusty should go and sing an opera aria and showcase his voice, He should make a splash.

I have a sad feeling things are going to so south for David and Zhiv. This may be their high peak of happiness and contentment. They are in love in a peaceable kingdom surrounded by animals and creatures in the mara so at ease and happy. Zhiv said, “Don’t we have the best life? It’s like we’re in heaven.” He kissed the end of David’s nose. “Your freckles are so beautiful! But soon people will be in the park searching for him and may find him. People may be killed by creatures defending Zhiv. The Governor wants results. The sheriff will lead a large search effort in the park. Businesses are mad. An extremist group is fighting for animal rights and shaking things up. Zhiv's message may be lost in the pandemonium.

Thanks for the early chapter. Trevor has found a human girlfriend, Cassidy, and they get along fantastically-- sexually and emotionally. They are very comfortable with each other. He is going to have a well-rounded fun time here exploring the area and Cassidy. She has no idea he is a wolf shifter or that others are in the town. He has kept his actual activities bland saying he is on an accounting internship for a few months helping out his college education. Can he keep his true nature and real duties a secret?

The State of Jefferson in California is a fevered dream. The Cal legislature is ruled one by one party with a super majority who has complete control without any conservative votes. No statewide public office holder is a Republican. The state legislature's actions and results can upset people north of Sacramento. Very progressive legislators from LA and San Franciso dominate the state government and broke no dissent from within its party As for Jefferson, the Oregon and California state legislatures will not likely approve to lose land and congressmen. Also, Congress would not want to add a new conservative state with conservative legislators. Maybe unless a deal was made to add a liberal/progressive DC as a countering state to keep the same balance in Congress. The Idaho and lower Oregon combination would not change the balance in Congress since it would not add a new state. Idaho counties have voted for it. Liberal Portland would lose the cranky conservative part of the state and one-party liberal/progressive dominance in the state government and federal representation would be assured and might make up for the loss of the land and a Congressman. My bet, nothing will change but conservative dissatisfaction with the other parts of each state will grow. The stories of militants I hear about are not in California, but in Idaho.

The family and friends keep getting extended. People want to go along witH the original groups on fun trips. I think Armand could get ideas for painting from the trips to museums, games and the zoo. Ivan is being set up to be a farmer near Colin and Armand and they ate happy. The group is leaving on a trip to Paris and Greece. Now leaving and flying on a plane is very easy and organized with the kids really helping. At the end Carl is finishing drawing a desk on the plane with GG's help. Roger is going to evaluate his finished creation to judge his artistic potential. I bet he will be pleased with Carl's work.

Rich is so hurt. He needs to weep and to work through his pain. What will he do next ?

Zhiv and David learned to play games with a ball and the animals. They later hugged and rubbed themselves so closely that they frotted and spewed out lots of sperm. It was a first time event and they figured out what happened Celia and Hector explored the area and found out they were both kept off the plateau by animals. They figured Zhiv was being protected by them Hector interviewed River and Jude. River gave out little info. Jude made himself a victim about the attacks and gave Hector David's name. I can see Hector trying to get information from David who will have to be very careful.

Hooray! Bouncer arrived first and killed eventually all the Kardoval. His poison painfully ended their lives. Garjah and his crew arrived soon after Bouncer and finished the fight and saved Essell who was not yet able to talk. Garjah and Essell were happily reunited. Fortunately, the Kardoval confessed to their crimes on video tape --in order to get any pain meds. The people on the planet will know of their crimes. After a warm reunion, what do Essell, Garjah and Ambassador Ases do next?

Friends and family are knitting closer together. The college boys are still connected . Michigan games are watched by DVD when the games are not televised, Ivan is expanding his faming capabilities and is adding geese--a good warning system--and chickens and possibly a dog. Armand is planning a trip for the family to Europe and adding Greece. He is also including Roger , Jean and Arnaud who knows the country well and speaks Greek. We learn that Colin and Armand have set up accounts and trust funds for the kids. He tells Ivan about his and lets him know he can buy a house for his geese. The boys will have a good financial start on life. Most interesting, we learn GG has been speaking to the young Carl in his dreams. She thinks he can be very good painter and a worthy partner eventually for Armand, He is , I assume, very happy with Colin and his news about GG.
