I've never been interested in any form of spectators' sports, but your description of the motorcycle races and what goes on in Kieran's mind on the race track is so alluring that it has enticed me to read it word for word and not skip over anything to go to the romantic parts (LOL). Thank you ... (another muffled scream due to cramps developing after so much screaming ... yeah ... a downward spiral) ... OMFG, I totally love this story ( okay, not so much on the rough sex bit, I really can't stand people inflicting pain on one another ... but that's just me ... ) So many different facets to this story, culinary details, manga (gay themed aimed at female readers), alternative music, dancing, literature ... Wow, my head is spinning ! I started reading this on another site BUT I'm so glad I've found Gay Authors and the story is SO far ahead here ... Okay enough boot-licking already ! LOL ! Dear (Mr Quinn), I've started reading this story on another site and quite by accident I came across this (Gay Authors) site. Am I glad that I've discovered GA. You have completed the story and posted it here. Yay ! This story is so romantic, just like the Harlequin novels that you've mentioned. Ezra is the damsel in distress and Henrik is the knight in shining armour (stretching this analogy more than a little bit, sorry). As I've lived for several years in Toronto, the setting of your story brings back a lot of fond memories. Albeit that I was living there at the time you were born (OMFG), so the city has changed somewhat. Anyway, a happy ending is ALWAYS what I enjoyed the most in romantic stories and you delivered it in spades ! Thank you ! Now back to work for you sir, I demand (for myself and all your other readers) in the most respectful way that you post new chapters of Fire and Icing and Blue Age promptly ! I AM holding my breath waiting for the next update and you really don't want a faithful reader to die on your watch, do you ? LOL !
