I will never, ever view the Renaissance period (albeit in an alternate timeline) with any romantic notions again ... Finally, a happy ending to a true (non fiction) story ! Yay ! I'll never be able to understand the hardships that you've endured in your years living on the street, but I'm so glad that you've pulled yourself out of a downward spiral, and then met your other half. If Michael is your miracle then you're also your own hero, you've done the hard work to "stand up" on your own two feet (no doubt with some help - Paul). After reading the story, I just wanted to scream and shout (with tears) at God or whoever it is that control Fate for dealing such a horrible hand to Jake and Ren ... No I will not calm down and count their blessings. Life isn't fair but I don't have to take it lying down. I'll just storm the heavens and curse whoever is there for all of the injustices in Life ... p.s. thank you for this story

Normally I wouldn't have commented on a story with any hint of BDSM in it, or else the comment would be quite scathing and negative. However, reading the other reviews made me pause and think; things are really quite sweet between Lance and Julian, and I hope they'll make it a long term relationship (okay, they are a couple of fictional characters, but I'm a hopeless romantic). I didn't give a "like" to every single chapter, but still I have to thank you for this story !

Argh ... is the next chapter getting messy ? How is Emmett going to dig himself out of this mess ? a) by two timing Zeke and Jian break off with Zeke and marry Jian c) start a polyamorous relationship d) fate takes over and someone is out of the picture p.s. A clean shot is too lenient a sentence for that f--king evil monster, I want him to suffer a lingering, painful and solitary confinement ... Has it been 10 months already ? Thank you for this engaging tale ... Thank you ... (not so faint screaming continuing in the background)

This is an incredibly sad story ... but I'll just continue to rant at the cruel fates / powers that be ... At the end of the day, Matthew's mother cared enough to come and visit him, there lies a glimmer of hope, the small spark of love. I'm holding a pitch fork trying to threaten you, my lady, "Get that next chapter out NOW !" Maybe if I add the threat of burning your manuscript you'd hurry up ... BUT, wait, if I do that you'll probably have to spend more time doing a rewrite than if I had left you alone... Finally l have a break down and start to scream and cry and bang my head on a hard surface ...
