I re-read the first two chapters of Sparkle to refresh my memory and I wonder if Oliver's friend should be George instead of John whose name I would confuse with Adam's Uncle John, a monster of a man, despicable, cruel ... (I'll stop here before I use every vile word to describe him) ... George was the one who carried Adam back to his Aunt and That S.O.B. so logically he would wish to meet him on the other side of Death ... (just in my humble opinion ...) Thank you, cannot wait for the final instalment of this tale (and yet dreading it as we never know how it's going to end ...)

Something warm and touching and mushy like this tale goes a long way to brighten up my day ... Damn, I'm letting you all (authors) getting to me, my emotions are all over the place, so I'd advise others not to open the doors to this calendar one after the other in quick succession ... I find this whole episode exceedingly depressing, even the sex scenes fill me with melancholy ... Maybe it's due to the fact that I'm the same age as Gordon and I don't even have children ? Two lonely souls that can share intimacy in bed but are not compatible enough to become friends ? I wished Harry had kicked Gordon out in the first place ... To me this is so sad ...
