Great beginning to a story with a great title. He is a beautiful boy in my mind and you have captured Noah's POV perfectly! -
So Much is New--and Perfect
KayDeeMac commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in So Much is New--and Perfect
Just one word Geoff - WONDERFUL ! Thank you. -
Hopefully this will strengthen the relationship between Shawn and Bailey as co-workers. Should his orientation become known in the workplace he may need the allegiance. Harlan was truthful but just not too detailed - so - no harm no foul! I am so looking forward for more more more!!! Thank you Wayne. David

Yes I agree with everyone else - that little 3-letter word from Elias had an enormous affect on Orson. Harlan discovering his softer side! Father and son reunited! You weave an enchanting story Wayne with rich characters. Love it - I just LOVE IT!!! Thank you again!
-
Yes a really "feel-good" chapter for all even with Bailey's flash back which was helpful in the his character development as well as showing his emotional scars/nightmares. Excellent Wayne, thank you!!
-
Excellent!! Thank you for bringing some joy into our lives during these stressful times. A great story!

Mom is too forgiving of the "friend" that raped her soon-to-be son in law!!
-
A great and wonderful chapter Wayne. Made me shed a few tears - especially with Huck coming back to his son. But also what Harlan said "Sometimes, a broken piece is the only one that will fit." I find that to be a very profound statement!! But THAT'S what I like love about your writing Wayne.. Thank You!! David

Another wonderful chapter that peaks our interest into two budding friendships/relationships. Obviously Harlan was quite pleased with whatever "incriminating evidence" that check copy provided!! Can't wait to see the "good" Pastor squirm!!
-
You are right it should have read Can't Refuse! My BAD !!
-
Back catching up with the gang at Camp Refuse! Yes, I have to agree, you are excellent at character contrast development! Also no hate mail from me. I became acutely aware of southern Baptist ideology when my husband and I moved from California to Florida!! It baffles my mind how anyone - especially Religious leaders - can characterize the love of another human being as being wrong, degrading or disrespectful! As always, another great chapter Wayne. Thank you and stay safe! David

YESSSSSSS !! Being the hopeless romantic that I am - it was a perfect "ending" ! Thank you so much Gary for a wonderful ride through the lives of Hank and Chase. I'll have to get back to COTT and catch-up there. Again, thank you Gary!! Be safe!!
-
Well this is camp refuge! It now has another tenant that's really hurting! Me thinks Rayne and Bailey will become very close and heal together!! Loved your song Wayne! A man of many talents!! Thanks for sharing. David
-
Action packed indeed! Already fond of Bailey. I also missed your little hint about his "requirement for workplace accommodation". I'm sure there will be interesting developments between Harlan and Bailey. Jeremy will probably be teaching ASL to the gang!! Love the story Wayne

Yessss - we're back at Camp Refuge for another adventure. I'm a "Happy Camper" ! Thanks Wayne.

Back to School and Right Back Home
KayDeeMac commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in Back to School and Right Back Home
I have to agree with dughlas - Matty and Eddie have a very solid relationship and this needs to be discussed. Sooner before later !!! Matty was essentially raped so there is no blame for him except for partaking in too much substances at the party!! The blame should lie solely on Alex - however - jealousy can create its own mindset that is not always factually orientated. Been there - done that !!! Another great chapter Geoff, even though it does brings our current real-life circumstances into the story!! Thank you! -
" Kind of detached, seeming not to care, but desperately needing to be loved." ….and that is exactly what I understood and felt about Kyle. He's been the abused underdog through most of his young life from his brothers to his father. No wonder he wears the memorial necklace of his Mother. I'm really enjoying the story JKW! Thank you! Chapter 18 Rhythm and Blues
KayDeeMac commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 18 Rhythm and Blues
I truly hope Hank was able to see that encounter and hopefully hear the outburst from Chase ! "Handprints Charming" CLASSIC!!! A perfect characterization of the jerk! I would call him a dick or ass but those are nice parts of the male anatomy and I always strive to stay away from oxymoron's! Another great chapter. Lovin' the story Gary!!. -
Intense chapter indeed !! But no judgement from me either. Cheating - yes I guess - but there is a lot of love there also!
-
"and one man's goose is another man's pelican" that my friend is the first time I have heard that expression!! Too funny!! I also believe this may be the catalysis that will allow Hank to get a better perspective (or handle) on his own emotions that are, at times, off-the-scale, and start to rekindle his and Chase's relationship. At lease I hope so!!! ANOTHER great chapter Gary.

Chapter 16 Moral Support
KayDeeMac commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 16 Moral Support
Geez Louise! One step forward and two steps backward!!! Let's just hope this reunion with Mom can calm the waters. I'm really happy for Dawson and Brent and "Chaser" !!! -
Yes - see my happy face - baby steps for sure but, at least steps in the right direction! Hank has obviously done some soul-searching and reconciliations of his own behaviors. A great chapter Gary. Thank you!
-
Well I'm happy as well! It was meant to be and it's a great uplifting segment of the story. Now we need to work on Chase and Kent!! Or is that irrevocable ?? Wonderful story and I'm all-in :))))
-
Well I'm going out on a limb here to say that I believe Dawson IS doing the right thing! Even if it doesn't work out like he hopes, the regret of not trying would be much worse! As for Hank - that's a tricky one. He's a scumbag for thinking with his meddle leg - but moreover - his judgmental attitude for assuming Chase did the same thing!!! Perhaps Dad will become more of an influence on both Hank and Chase and make them understand the wonderful euphoria of forgiveness. Thank you again Gary for a very moving story!!!
-
Well it was no doubt difficult to write but it was heart wrenching to read. A very Kleenex moment!!! Great writing Gary - thank you!!
