A really really good story Tim! The intrigue is captivating and the characters each bring more mysteries to unravel. Well, maybe not Christian.. "The door being so intricately carved with woodland scenes and salamanders" - this is probably a major clue but I'm still clueless!!

WOW - Just wow! Very powerful Carlos and very well written. I believe we were all pretty much aware of the "who" it nonetheless brought tears to my eyes and produced a felling of gloom and helplessness!! No doubt the ruined garden was the straw that tipped the balance but his DNR was the insurance for the desired outcome. So so sad! On a happier note, I'm real glad the cameraman got his just dues!! Brad was not about to let Henk's request for no film go unheeded!!

I don't think I need to comment on what the orange buffoon says or does. That man needs to die and be forgotten or remembered as one of our most inept leaders (using the word loosely.) AMEN to that! The man knows NO boundaries!!

I'm late here but I am thoroughly engaged. Being a veteran myself, I'm ashamed of the disservice this country provides returning veterans and the real issues they have to endure, quite often alone!!! I escaped Viet Nam, barely, but have a brother-in-law who did not, and still suffers PTSD!! Thank you Carlos for a riveting and very real and factual-based story!!

The intrigue and character build-up has been excellent so the next chapter may be where the shoe drops. And yes there are men like Nash in the real world! I've been blessed to know a couple personally !!!

Well I waited as long as I could knowing this was the final chapter. It was worth the wait Wayne - a great wrap-up with Bailey meeting the Don and both accepting each other. It actually brought tears to my eyes at the end!! As always, thank you for you writings. Looking forward to more Camp Refuge and like kbois, I'll look for your collaboration with Tim. Take care, be safe, and thank you for all that you do during these stressful times.

George may have some significant decisions to make regarding home/family and work! Unfortunately - money usually rules those decisions! Jill is great and I love the line "kill me now"! I must admit - I kind of thought this type of rule might come up. However, attorney tesao :)...makes excellent rebuttals... so maybe there can be exceptions made for their pre-existing relationship!! Another great - but heart-wrenching - chapter. Thanks Geoff

Yea somethin' funny about the Knott family - especially Ryan's constant need to get Nash to the family gatherings. I'm surprised Lee is not questioning these encounters!! Maybe Penn's marriage is just not what it appears! Another good and interesting chapter Mrs. G. Thank you!

I'm a newbie to your stories. Just finished "Because I want You" on another site and searched for you here on GA for the sequels. That installment was very very good and had me captivated throughout the story. Your writing style is extremely engaging and your character developments are believable. Another "fun" "feel-good" chapter! Interesting that the animals can sense the love between the two boys. I believe that is true with domestic animals also!! Billy's ex was a real dirt-bag. Suggesting he was cheating when he himself was the one cheating already!! Thanks again Geoff!

I also believe NoSkis & tesao are accurate and spot on. Geoff - you said in the beginning: "This is a story written in the first-person from a teen on the Austism Spectrum. Great care has been taken to be true to the character will, at the same time, being non-offensive to my readers. " It is a delicate subject that many probably feel uncomfortable with. You have done a marvelous job in staying true to your objective and I have loved every chapter. You are a master at your craft. I too love it when the needy becomes the needed!!
