That was a birthday and a half! Easy to understand Levi being overwhelmed when compared to his previous ones.
As an aside 'spruiking' is a word I've never come across - must mean something to the locals.🙂
The walls that enclosed Levi's childhood and upbringing are now showing cracks. I suspect though it will need more than another six days before they come tumbling down, especially as there doesn't appear to be a Joshua around...🙂
I'm not trying to start a fight over this, but, unless I'm missing something, there is no reason to presume that Rachel's father was any older than Matt's at the time she became pregnant. I thus don't see retirement is a relevant point.
The first day went quite well for Levi and he seems to have made a friend in Jimmy. Hopefully when they get to the beach Jimmy can fill him in about the 'arseholes' who, I suspect, may have given him problems in the past.
New father, new 'uncles', new town, new home, new school.
A hell of a lot has changed for Levi in a very short time. Let's hope he can make some genuine friends at school to help him settle in. As far as I recall nothing has been said about his scholastic abilities and I do suspect he isn't likely to excel on the sports field, swimming apart., so he may struggle fitting in with already established groups.
