  1. These were sent by a friend. I haven't doublechecked them, but the page number is listed for where the words appear. "What d'you mean, I'm not brave in bed?" said Harry, completely nonplussed. (14) "...I know you did Mark Evans two nights ago --" "He was asking for it," snarled Dudley. (13) "I heard you last night," said Dudley breathlessly. "Talking in your sleep. Moaning." (15) "Ah well...wand still in your jeans?" (53) "JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE ALLOWED TO USE MAGIC NOW YOU DON'T HAVE TO WHIP YOUR WAND OUT FOR EVERY TINY LITTLE THING!" (84) "You two just Apparated on my knees!" "Yeah, well, it's harder in the dark --" (97) "There was a groan of bedsprings, and Harry's mattress descended a few inches as George sat down near his feet. "So, got there yet?" said George eagerly. (100) "...screwing up her eyes each time with the same pained expression she had worn back in Harry's bedroom." (85) "Ron was lying sprawled on his back with his mouth wide open." (121) "Quite astonishing, the way you contrive to wriggle out of very tight holes." (154) "He's having a go at my mother!" Seamus yelled. (218) "Or any part of your body, really, we're not fussy where we stick this." (343) "...when it appears, it is always equipped for the seeker's needs. Dobby has used it, sir," said the elf, dropping his voice and looking guilty, "when Winky has been very drunk." (387) "She's somethin' when she's roused, Olympe...fiery, you know...'spect it's the French in her..." (432) "He was rather taller than Snape, who, Harry noticed, had balled his fist in the pocket of his cloak over what Harry was sure was the handle of his wand." (520) "Stand up and take out your wand, Potter." (533) "I thought not," said Snape, watching him closely. "You let me get in too far. You lost control." (535) "Manners, Potter," said Snape dangerously. "Now, I want you to close your eyes." Harry threw him a filthy look before doing as he was told. He did not like the idea of standing there with his eyes shut while Snape faced him, carrying a wand. (535) "He was on all fours again on Snape's office floor." (536) "Ron wrenched the hangings apart, and Harry stared up at him in the moonlight, as he lay flat on his back." (586) "Yeah, Montague tried to do us during break," said George. "What do you mean, 'tried'?" said Ron quickly. (627) "Well, we'll soon find out, won't we?" said Snape smoothly. "Wand out, Potter." Harry moved into his usual position... (638) "But whether James really did take off Snape's pants, Harry never found out." (649) "...did things with a wand I've never seen before..." (711) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reader Submissions: "Sirius pushed his chair roughly aside and strode around the table towards Snape, whipping his wand out as he went; Snape whipped out his own." (531) "Snape eyed Harry, tracing his mouth with one long, thin finger as he did so." (531) Kathy Duncan "Well?" said Ron finally, looking up at Harry. "How was it?" Harry considered for a moment. "Wet." He said truthfully. (458) Christina Campagna "What did he do to you, Diddy?" Aunt Pentunia said in a quavering voice, now sponging sick from the front of Dudley's leather jacket. "Was it-- was it you-know-what, darling? Did he use-- his thing?" (26) Lucy Sullivan "He bit hard on his pillow, to stop himself from making a noise." (518) rivier "Running to Daddy now, are you? Is his ickle boxing champ frightened of nasty Harry's wand?" (14) Harry snorted. He walked around the room again, looking anywhere but at Ron and Hermione. "So what have you two been doing if you're not allowed in meetings?" he demanded. "You said you'd been busy." (68) "Say hello to him [Hagrid] for us!" called Hermione, as Harry proceeded down the ward. "And ask him what's happening about...about his little friend!" (850) Aquilus Veritas "... every part of him screaming for release, Harry felt the creature use him again..." (720) "Fred and George were looking particularly annoyed; both were bandy-legged and winced with each movement..." (337) "Don't put your wand there, boy!" roared Moody. (48) switchknife "He was now looking at Zacharias as though he would like nothing better than to thump him." (343) Misticblu23@aol.com ...and Fred, George, and Ginny were doing a kind of war dance to a chant that went "He got off, he got off, he got off...." (156) Judith Edelstein "He came last night, when you were in bed," said Mr. Weasley. (120) your very own jane burnham Harry Potter and the Raging Hormones: "He let out a long, slow breath and stared up at the brilliant blue sky. Every day this summer had been the same: the tension, the expectation, the temporary relief, and then mounting tension again...and always, growing more insistent all the time, the question of why nothing had happened yet." (9) Sarah A gem from the British edition: "Anyway, its a nightmare of a year, the fifth," said George. "If you care about exam results, anyway. Fred and I managed to keep our peckers up somehow." Frood Fade "He [Harry] tried to eat, but it was like chewing carpet." (122) LaraGoth Put that away, will you?" said Sirius finally, as James made a fine catch and Wormtail let out a cheer. "Before Wormtail wets himself from excitement." (645) Maria "I see," said Uncle Vernon, looking from his white-faced wife to Harry and hitching up his trousers. He seemed to be swelling... (38) Chrystina Riggs "'Don't kill Cedric! Don't kill Cedric!' Who's Cedric -- your boyfriend?" (15) Maggie "Ha ha ha, Harry, look at it--" said Ron, watching it disgorge its gaudy innards. "Harry, come and touch it, bet it's weird--"..."Harry, look what's happen--no--no, I don't like it--no, stop--stop--" (798) Jerry Jordan "Kreacher won't *quite* as devoted to him as to my mother, but I still caught him snogging a pair of my father's old trousers last week." (108, UK edition) Claire Hennessy "One more lesson like that and I might just do a Weasley." (676) Singe "That was me," he said. "I was slashed..." (289, UK edition) Hnk "...which left Harry free to sit down on the grass between the beech and the bushes and watch the foursome under the tree." (644) "Kreacher was disappearing through the door to the hall, looking back at them malevolently as he hitched up his loincloth..." (475) VagueWings@aol.com "Harry's heart began to pump very fast indeed. Defence against external penetration?" (458) Niuserre ...She pressed hard on the top of his head. "Doesnt it ever lie flat?" she said desperately. Harry shook his head. (123) AgonizingMercy@aol.com "Panting, Harry fell forwards over the hydrangea bush, straightened up and stared around. There were several faces peering trough various nearby windows. Harry stuffed his wand hastily back into his jeans and tried to look innocent." (10) Mino "He and all the other Weasleys froze on the threshold, gazing at the scene in front of them, which was also suspended in mid-action, both Sirius and Snape looking toward the door with their wands pointing into each other's faces and Harry immobile between them..." (521) Neli Aldrich "We're not going to use magic," Ron ejaculated loudly. (242) Milly "I don't think private matters between myself and the Minister are any concern of yours, Potter," said Malfoy, smoothing the front of his robes. Harry distinctly heard the gentle clinking of what sounded like a full pocket of gold. "Really, just because you are Dumbledore's favourite boy, you must not expect the same indulgence from the rest of us...shall we go up to your office, then, Minister?" (141, UK edition) Caroline
  2. Clue. (Followed by "Flies are where men are most vulnerable" ) I wave the quote.
  3. Thanks for the updates. My thoughts are with both Dom and his friend.

    American Idol

Speaking of cute singers... Billy Gilman seems to have really grown up... http://www.billygilman.com/online/bio.html
  5. I've been watching American Idol. I've got my eye on Anthony Federov. (I think he's probably straight... but cute with a hell of a voice) Anybody else watching? Voting for the guys starts Monday.
  6. Happy Birthday! :king: Don't have too much fun for your 21st birthday
  7. Happy Birthday! :king:
  8. I'm confused. Are you referring to stories posted in the forum "The Library"? If you are, then the forums already display when a new post has been made. I think you are probably referring to the story archive. If that's the case, while I like your suggestion, there is nothing I can do there. There is no practical way to do what you ask. The only real option is to have someone manually make updates, which is totally impractical, as it would take someone hours to check all the stories listed in the archive. Sorry about that... but there are still some limitations with what you can reasonably do with computers.
  9. I have added two temporary How to Guides: How to get a story added to the archive: https://www.gayauthors.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=1544 How to post stories in The Library: https://www.gayauthors.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=1544 I'll be addressing some of the other things as well. In addition, I'll be setting up an easier to find and use set of guides as time permits.
  10. I hope you have a great day!
  11. Organized religion is the root of all evil.
  12. I don't know. It looks like a vendetta to me on the part of the DA. I'll wait until I hear some more evidence before I pass judgement on MJ.
  13. Happy Birthday pscidude2020! :king: Myr
  14. There is an army of former boy-actors that attest to MJ being a great guy and having never attempted to fiddle with them...
  15. If you listen to the commentary on the DVDs, all the cast love B5... (I have ALL the DVDs for B5)
  16. Well... remember what happen to Crusade. The studio execs f'ed that up too. It was supposed to be a 5 year show but we only got 13 episodes because TNT wanted Baywatch in Space... and JMS told them where to stick it. They are talking about using known and loved characters played by different people.
  17. I don't suppose that it has escaped anyone's notice that the VAST majority of Aids cases are now amongst black hetros? The radio stations have been blaring ads about how how blacks should know their status so that they will stop spreading it around. All sorts of famous black stars are on these ads. that new super-killer strain of HIV seems to be attacking the risky sex/risky drug group. info here: http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/02/021105nyHIV.htm
  18. I think the matter of acceptance depends a great deal on where you are. I suspect that if you are in Hickstown, Red State, USA, then being out is probably dangerous. If you happen to live in Blue City, Blue State, USA, then you are probably happy-go-lucky out of the closet. My 14 yr old cousin tells me that he has several gay and bi friends that are out at school. They don't get harassed, or so he says.
  19. It is a valid point of discussion and something we, as gay people, should be aware of, if nothing else.

    Interesting...

If you like Ender's Game, then you'll like Ender's Shadow. It takes place from the point of view of Bean during the same time period. Then there is Shadow of the Hegemon and Shadow Puppets which are the sequels to Ender's Shadow. I have picked up Songmaster and it is on the top of my "To Read" pile. Which most likely means Sunday.

    Interesting...

I don't know what his sexuality is. It doesn't escape notice that his best books are about boys... He is married though and he does have a Morman-appropriate level of children. He had to suffer through the loss of one of his boys not too long ago. A terrible thing for anyone to suffer through. He's a good writer and that's enough for me.
  22. I just found a link to us from the Orson Scott Card discussion forum. http://www.hatrack.com/ubb/cgi/ultimatebb....f=1;t=002553;p= Seems to be mostly a debate about being gay though. Interesting place to get a link from. He is one of my favorite authors, even if he is Mormon and semi-bigoted because of it.
  23. As some of you may know, B5 has a theatrical release movie that is just getting underway. Again, the bigwigs at Warner Brothers are about to screw the pooch by making the movie without the original cast!!!!!! Check out this link to see what you can do to help save the movie! http://www.keepb5alive.com/
  24. I haven't had much time for movies lately. But I do collect DVDs. I have 400 now. (exactly, oddly enough). My most recent purchase of Season 1 of MacGyver. One of my favorite all time shows. Moviewise, I have a hard time pinpointing ones I like best. The Back To the Future Trilogy, Star Wars (all of them), Lord of the Rings, Star Trek. I do have my own movie theatre set up in my basement. 9 ft screen... projector... "rock-the-house" sound system.
  25. This is absolutely true. There are two things to consider: back a few hundred years, a 13 yr old would have been married off and doing the kid-making thing. Biologically somewhere between 11 and 16 or so, nature primes the pump and turns on the juice for a boy. Are most 13 yr olds capable of the decision? probably not. But some are. I know a rather large number of 18 yr olds that I think aren't mature enough to make that decision. I know a number of 20-somethings that aren't either. I also know a few youngers ones that I think are capable. The cookie cutter age thing is my problem. What is so magic about being 16 years and 364 days old and not being able to legally consent to sex in NY, but the next day, you can. What happened overnight? Age laws need a more practical application. Perhaps this story was a bad example because of the authority thing, but there are others.
