    Chapter 11

This chapter was Excelent!!! The interaction of the characters, the bit of suspence following the tunnel, the descriptions of the parts, machines, even the dust and dirt is so amazingly accurate. I have actually been in a simular abandoned underground area and the dark, dusty, cool and ominous feelings are very real. The discovery, admission and acceptance of the orientation and relationships of all the players to Brad and Casey was so cool. It really shows the caring between everyone as it allowed Brad and Casey to be honest and open. I am also happy that the adoption thing was explained as it makes the relationship so much more that just 'brothers' fooling around. It also has the underlying emotions of two young boys, put up for adoption (read abandoned), then loosing their saviors (adoptive parents) to a careless driver. How sad for the brothers to loose the people who opened their home and lives to them so violently. Now they have each other AND a group of honest friends to help them live . Geron, you again paint a vivid picture of a life in a time I can only imagine and the dreams are so wonderful. Please keep going....
  2. I really liked this chapter. I also think that Robbie needs to come clean with Rory, but only with Nathans OK and he needs to include Rory in his plans, as a friend. It is obvious that Rory could be a tremendous friend and ally in the future. I don't have any siblings so I have no reference to the sparing between Robbie and Nicola, but it seems a little more nasty than it should. Is this because Robbie is new to the family or just a threat in the popularity class standing? Either way, I see a battle headed our way between Robbie and Nicola. Hopefully it will end before there are casualtys from cross fire in the battle. Great writing, really wanting more....

    Chapter 10

I liked the chapter mostly for the setup and the interaction of the characters. Everyone from the core group being comftorable and accepting of the caring and love between the characters is amazing. As a reader I can almost feel it as if I were there. The addition of Brad and Casey is so special. For Brian and the crew to openly accept them into the fold is heartfelt on a level I can only dream to ever experience. Jonny and Gary showing up in the nick of time to join in is great. It will be very interesting to see how the interaction of the brothers goes. That one is intreagueing. Now for the old house and the hidden tunnel in the basement... This sounds like the teaser to a Hardy Boys Mystery- - - The Tunnel to the Automobile Graveyard--------------- Great writing Geron. Drooling to see the end of the tunnel .
  4. Yea . Billy is going to have a lot of healing and growing up to do. It will be a very hard road, especially when he figures out that both Brett and Dustin are really his best friends and that they BOTH want the best for him. Dustin wants a friend and confidant while Brett wants a friend and lover. Both want a companion to grow with. Will it be possible with both Brett and Dustin out for each others blood? What will be the fallout when Billy realizes that Dustin is not lying about Bretts drug use? What will be the reaction when Billy and Bretts relationship is revealed to be more than friends? What will be the future for George after the stroke? So many questions needing answers. We will be kept busy reading to find out. Jeff you are weaving a wonderful, emotional and intreagueing story with a lot of underlying plots. Looking forward to the answers to all of the questions. Please comfort the boys ....

    Chapter 9

Geron thank you for a wonderful, emotional, sweet, depressing, careing and heartfelt pairing of minds and bodys. It is VERY pleasing to feel the beauty of the night in your writing. Your description of Brian and Jeffs bodys during the dive sequence brings visions to my mind of someone I bunked with long ago. Thank You so much for that memory. The love and attraction between Brian and Jeff is simply overwhelming. I actually had a hard time finishing this chapter due to the emotions it brought to the surface. Yes, I am a softie to quote someone we both know... Thank You for your wonderful and kind writings. I look forwward to the next chapter in the lives of all the boys and girls. Oh, and how daft of the gal in the Vette to simply think that everyone who would want to work so hard to beat her would WANT to eat her---YUCK .

    Chapter 8

Outstanding chapter Geron. The emotion and hurt radiated from Brad and Casey made me want to jump into the story and hug them. Without being able to do that Brians compassion for both boys is what makes him so special. A friend like Brian is a once in a lifetime gift. Brian, Jeff and Annie are moving toward something. It will be interesting to see how this group of friends develop and move forward in life. Keep up the great work and tell us more !
  7. I am not a fan of any sport in general, so simply YEA Teams . I do appreciate the positive comments made by pro players of any sport or atheletic endevor in reference to acceptance of any LGBT individual. People see pros on TV all the time, so seeing a positive interaction can do nothing but help gain acceptance for all people. Hopefully we will see more tolerance and acceptance throughout the world.......

    Chapter 34

Great chapter. Wow, bio warfare even in medieval times. Now how do we figure this out and defend against it? Looking forward to the next chapter.

    Chapter 7

Another great chapter. I agree with the comments of the other reviewers. During the time of the story, I was 20, in college and the drinking age in my state was 21, however, 20 miles away the drinking age was 19. Gee, guess where we all went many nights after school . It is amazing that we never had problems or got in trouble as we certainly deserved talk with a judge. Thinking of the car crowd, most were reasonable kids. The only time real problems came to a head were when a pair decided to run for titles.... needless to say the looser was NEVER in a good mood and the neutral title holder was a target for weeks. I hope the boys and girls handle this quickly and decisively, not to much blood, but some would be ok . It is amazing what young people do without thinking about the ramifications or possible results. The end of the run is a perfect case in point. One kid lost a race and got mad, seven kids could have died......Scary. I really want to see how this goes. Waiting on pins and needles.
  10. Great chapter. It is nice to see Robbie and Nathan reach a good place. It will be interesting to see where Nicola takes this in the future. I can't get past the feeling that Nicola has a better take on things than we have been led to believe at this point... Time will tell and we will be listening . Keep up the wonderful writing. Good Job!
  11. Sasha, The days will be long and the nights cold, but remember the good times will return one day sooner each night. Try to think warm thoughts, keep your boy warm and happy, seek friends and company (no not that kind) . Use the phone and computer to keep in touch and share things about each others day and most of all, tell each other you miss them and you love them and you will see each other one day sooner..... The time will pass at its own speed, but it will pass and he will return to you. Hugs and warm thoughts for both of you

    Chapter 6

Great chapter. I really liked the interaction between Brian and Jeff. Brians lost puppy thoughts and the concern for Jeffs feelings was so special, only to be outdone by Jeffs understanding and urging of Brian to yalk to Annie and to be sure to not hurt her. No matter how it seemd, that is genuine careing and love for everyone involved. The description of the fields and views of farmland in the moonlight were spot on... been there seen that and it is very serene. As for the police segment, worrying at best. I would have been scared spitless if I had a trunk full of pot and a state trooper looking in my window. Definately not good . I am glad that Brian, Jeff and Annie are on the same page for now. It is also very heart warming that the others that know the truth are very suportive of the guys. Keep em coming so we can read and enjoy life through your characters. Great Work Geron .

    Chapter 5

I have to agree 110% with Brendan. Cheeting is definately on the wrong side of my fence, however, what happened between Brian, Jeff and Annie was not in any way cheeting. All three of them knowingly and willingly moved forward with their actions and affections. This is not cheeting! Teens will explore sexuality in each their own way. Many will only pair up with the opposite sex, some will pair up with the same sex and some will pair, at times, with both sexes. Call this what you will, but it is the way people find themselves. It has taken me 35 years to realise this and accept it. Great work Geron for relating an especially emotional and wonderful sceen and trust between friends and lovers. A+ job . Another section of the story that hits especially true and close to me is the section where Brian realises that 'Wrong and Unaccepted' are often interchanged, while in reality they are VERY different things. I have learned over my years that wrong is anything that hurts others. This can be words of hate, criminal acts like theft or robery, assults, abuse (especially against children and the elderly **growl, hiss, fight**), murder etc.... While 'Unaccepted' includes all wrongs it also includes the things we were tought were not 'Normal or Right'. This is often brought forward from narrow minded people or organized groups that think THEY know the only RIGHT way. I am going to stop here as I know Geron has thoughts about religon and intolerance that are his to shield or expose as he sees fit. Nuf said... Absolutely excelent work and the emotions relayed in the story pull at my heart. It is so nice to be able to think of a group of friends being able to accept each other for simply who they are and continue being friends, hopefully through life. My area not so accepting...... Wonderful, emotional, exciting, happy and pleasant thoughts. Thums WAY up and looking for more .

    Chapter 4

Friends of a like mind, how nice. It looks like the boys have started a well deserved friendship. It does make for a secure feeling. I wish I had that chance as a teen..... Great story. Keep it going Geron .
  15. OOhhhhhh what a chapter . I will actually review after the next one when I can think strait, er gay, er...think at all Great writing. Looking forward to more and happy for the boys!!!

    Chapter 3

Geron, You paint a very vivid picture of the car life of the 80's. My area was smaller so there were fewer car guys and the parties were attended by less people. The smoke was here and the beer so often that was the focus of the gathering. We never had old abandoned houses but we did have several areas in the surounding hills that were common gathering places for a shared keg and some fun. Those times wained very quickly after graduation as most of us either left the area for higher education, military service or just to find work. Our town was very agriculture based so unless you were a farm kid there was very little for you here. Your story tells the tale of growing up in the culture of smaller town america in the 80's and it does bring back memories of crusing on friday and saturday nights and being at the drive-in and watching the other cars cruse by or stopping in for a chat. Amazing memories, thank you....

    Chapter 12

Alan and Peter are doing a great job. Alan is getting better at seeing what is needed and responding. Peter is still a bit to negative, but with Alan at home full time now, he hopefully will mellow a bit and settle into fatherhood . The grandparents, specificly the grandmother needs to be bit** slaped silly for her homophobic actions. With any luck at all, the agency will find everything perfectly OK and advise them to back off. It has been infered that no matter the result of the visit, the grandparents have more options to make life hell for Alan and Peter. If they try, I hope Alan turns the dogs loose on them and teaches them that HE and Peter can also be protective and keep the kids away from a horrible influence... In other words never see the kids again. Anyway, that is most likely not in Alans nature as it really would not be in the boys best interest and Alan is obviously for the boys first and himself a very distant second... Great work Graeme. Looking forward to the next chapter of events.

    Chapter 12

Another great chapter KD. Ryders outlook is improving with support from his parents, Jeremy and now Callen. Callen seems to be a great sourse of support and even Garret appears to have a human side showing care for his brother. Keep up the great writing .

    Chapter 2

I really like the thoughts and feelings brought to the surface with your way of relating the events. I graduated in 82 and those times were very prominant in my life. I too had friends with hot cars and in our town the thing to do was cruise the main street every friday and saturday night. Every now and then pink slips were traded or lost on the street. I remember once a guy I knew with a snarkey little Dodge 340 Demon took the challenge from a 69 Camero... well after the NEW nitrous kit in the Demon lit off all that was left was to take the old owner of the Camero home and drive it to its new home... happy day in Mopar land. I hope everything works out well for all of our players, boys and girls alike. We will cross fingers and wait for the next chapter
  21. Also a happy new year to all

    Chapter 21

Very interesting information about being raised in the very rural deep south. My mother was raised in north central Arkansas and things about sex were never mentioned. I never got the birds and bees talk... good thing I never developed interest in girls young like most boys . The closest I got to a girl in my teens was a very brief oral encounter that never even finished... oh well. I can not even dream of trying to tell my family the truth about me even now. Sad I know, but life goes on. I am glad you have your Tony and your family, for the most part has moved into more current times. Great story with a personal content. Please tell us more

    Chapter 1

I have been waiting for this next story to begin. I too am a teen of the early 80's and a mopar nut of the times. I owned a 68 roadrunner in the mid 80's and what a blast. Your style puts me right back behind the wheel and I'm loving it, two doors, windows down and 100+ with Chevs and Fords in the mirror... It is very nice to read about young guys of the time brave enough to be with each other, even on the sly, and having at least one friend that is cool with them. This story really makes me think about another time and the missed possibilities.... Well at least Bry and Jeff are making a go of it. I look forward to more events and hopefully many exciting and good times for all. GREAT writing and looking for more Rob
  24. I love the story and the characters. I hope things go well in the future for Robbie and his close group. I do find it interesting that Nathan seems to have lured Robbie into a card game sting. This should prove fun... Waiting with baited breath for more.
  25. Billy finally hit the end of the dock and is in a freefall to the murkey waters below. It is easy to see how he feels when we look back on the events of his life the past few years. He really needs some help as do Brett and Dustin. If all three of them could see the real light around them they could be a force to deal with. Billy is the brains, Dustin could be the brawn and Brett fits very nicely into the grifter role, charmer-facilitator. As we all help Billy recover maby we should look a little deeper into ourselves. I do find bits and pieces of my life written into this story. THANK YOU JEFF for giving us a very touching and heartfelt story with many emotional parts to be fitted into the big puzzle.... I only wish part 4 would start before I age another year .
