I read this last night and it left me so angry that I had to wait to post a review. I am still seething at Dons actions. Don needs to remember he is Robbies ONLY family left and support the boy even if this is a new world for him. PERIOD. Sue is actually an angle in Robbies life, even if he does not quite understand that yet. Daniel is a question mark at this point. I am sure he feels betrayed, hurt and untrusted. He also said some simple things that weigh very heavily on a 14 year old mind... Share his room, bend the rules, change the accepted actions, etc... It really makes Daniels reaction much more understandable. Hopefully he will become more of the Daniel we were introduced to. Nicola, Nicola, Nicola.... She is going to play a Very big part in the future. She is the oldest of the kids and has become the protector. I think she will be the one, if anyone, to change Dons views...I hope. Amy is to young to really play much of a part in this, except the young do not understand bigotry and hatred in this way... Robbie loving Nathan is no different to her than loving a member of the family. Don really needs his ass kicked until he at least calms down and listens.... Now for where Robbie will be hiding... I have three guesses in order of probability 1-Frans, 2-Jimmys (Nicolas boyfriend), 3-Alex (the first encounter). I am betting on Fran...... Please, Dodger, write fast, I really need to see this get solved............

I agree with most of the above. Someone needs to step up to the plate for Dustin or it will end badly. On that note someone needs to step up for Billy also. Paula and her crackpot minister and church MUST be put in its place. Those types of cults should be removed from society as a human service. George MUST protect Billy from that $hit. I am very quickly loosing all respect for this line of action AND inaction. I am still very much team Brett, but that does not mean that I have no hope for Dustin being a valuable part of Billys life. Things need to change and damn quickly.....

Still a great story. I hope Joey gets EVERYTHING he deserves and a down payment for later!!! I can't even think about what I want for Billys mom.

I agree with both of the above comments. More please!! I too was very infatuated with a high school friend. We have remained best friends to this day. He was the first I came out to a year or so ago. I told him everything about me, including my feelings for him. He calmly told me he was straight, but would always be my best friend. Then he asked where we were going for lunch.... Nothing has changed between us, except nothing is hidden. Now that things are in the open between Charlie and Roger we definately need more.....................

This went very much as I expected it would. Daniel is obviously hurt. The only thing we do not know is exactly why. Does Daniel have a crush on Nathan or is he just disapointed that Robbie did not talk with him first? Nicola is turning out to be a very protective big sister. I wonder if in the future if she will con Robbie into saving a Labrodoodle dog?????? Don is a point of concern. I do not think he will be very happy, but I do think he will try his best after the inital shock wears off. Please write fast. There are many questions that need answers!!! Great work and a wonderful story. Waiting tensly for more.

This was a wonderful chapter in an exceptional story. It radiated the love Will and Liam have for each other and the suport of family and friends. It would be wonderful if all people could learn and act in this way. Please keep telling us the story of their lives. We really need the joy they share. Great work!!!

Great chapter with a tragic ending. I too hope for a good outcome and a quick solution. It is a painful sceen, but there are people in this world that cannot let people be themselves, especially with orientation, religon or politics. It is a sad place we live in where people solve their issues with fists and feet insted of words and understanding. I really want the offenders cought and punished for the hate and evil they spread. Great work, looking for more soon!!!

I think the story is wonderful. I only hope that there is a 'get even' with Wills mother coming down the lane. That Bi$%h really deserves to have a really bad year or two. Just my oppinion, others may agree...... Keep up the great writing!!!

Wonderful story with many hidden gems as @droughtquake mentioned. I too would not mind this being a continuing story just paced slower than most as each installment is complete in its self. We can feel the bitterness in the air around Mrs. Karticker as she discribes wanting it 'All to go' except the furniture. I have known people with this bitterness and unfortunately they are often bitter for a very long time. The auction part was very toung in cheek as Mr. Karticker gets a taste of his own doing. The details and sceens are gripping and excelently writen. They draw you into the world of the story. Now with flying saucers and cannons mentioned all we need is a parrot and an eye patch and we have the makings of an epic sea and air battle....................Hmmmmm. Keep up the great work Geron and we will keep reading!!!!

This is a wonderful story of continuing growth in a relationship. It also touches on things that can happen later in life if a spouse takes the other for granted. This is a well writen and paced story that allows the reader to feel and enjoy the lives of the main characters. Great work Geron and I look forward to more.

Hi Dodger, Great story and a good looking dog. It is a bit of an old wives tale, but look at his paws and think how big he needs to be to look right with those paws. Large breed dogs often have very big paws as puppys. Keep the name and get him a buddy and name him Guitar and then you can have a duet........... Yea I know, BAD . You will have a friend that only needs love to be your best buddy forever. Praise to you for rescuing him.

I really liked this story. Like Gary, I really wanted Pa to get a taste of his ignorance and brutality. I was hoping that the older brother would whoop some sence into Pa. Oh well, it had a great ending and the future looks much brighter than the past. Keep up the great work and I vote for happy endings.

I just realized that I never left a review on the contents page of this story. This story is one of my favorite ones on the site. It touches on many things that ring true to me and my past. The development of the characters and the mood of the story seem real for the times. I feel the pain and the joy every time I read this story. I absolutely love the ending and wish life could be that way for all. This is a wonderful read and I highly recommend it if you need a lift to your spirits or just want to smile.

Jay, I am so sorry for your loss and the years of torment that you have felt. I feel Tim may have a valid thought about Kevin not meaning for the end to be as it was. He knew his time was limited and made a choice. I think his choice very well may have happened quicker than he planed. Try to remember the good times and know he is not suffering nor in pain. You were a valued part of his life, even if only for a couple of years. I think he came back to you to say thank you and good bye, time just passed a bit to quickly. Please find solace in your thoughts and peace in your life by letting the anger escape. Remember your friend and soul mate with love, but allow yourself to move forward and find your hapiness.

At times like this there is no "right" way to feel. Everyone feels loss in their own way. For others to think that they know how someone shoul or should not react to loss is absured. I lost my mother five years ago on the 23rd and I still miss her. We knew it was coming for a long time and all of us made out peace as time progressed. I never shed a tear even though I loved her greatly. It was just her time to rest without pain. My brother shed many tears, but felt the same as I did. Neither of us judged the others actions, as we both knew we both loved mom. What I am trying to say is do not let others thoughts or actions play on your emotions. Only you know your feelings and what they mean to you. Remember the good times, laugh at the old jokes and continue to be true to yourself. That is what makes you the person you are. Last man standing is actually very funny in this case. Old joke from mom.... Do you know what really burns my ass? A flame about three feet high . That was moms favorite joke........

I waited to start this story until Cinderfella was complete. This story already has mystery and intrigue. I'm hooked.
