It was while we were looking at what little information about Makarovia that there was the beeping chime from Peter’s computer. Peter hit a key and saw it was a request from Olek to video call him. Peter smiled and activated the computer for the call. The screen quickly brightened. Olek’s smile was instant. I smiled at him, he was a king, but now…just a man. Shirt unbuttoned at the collar and open and he ran hands over his face as he smiled. “You’re there!” He said happily. “I was trying to

Transylvania's All Hallows' Eve
R. Eric commented on R. Eric's story chapter in Transylvania's All Hallows' Eve
I've used many of your ideas! You were the one to steer me to the Creids in Cinderfella 2! The redheads! (Maybe I shouldn't told everyone that. Oh, well, too late.) Enter. -
Transylvania's All Hallows' Eve
R. Eric commented on R. Eric's story chapter in Transylvania's All Hallows' Eve
I had planned it that way. The next chapter is coming about what's happening in town. Time zones. Yes, my mind has been in Makarovia. Back to that. -
I realized that Dragon had really missed a lot of life. He’d lived a long time, but he didn’t see the world. He didn’t know the world. He was told things about it but didn’t know it. If we did this and were successful, he could get to know it at last. The others on our team were getting ready to be out with the people for this Halloween. It wasn’t just one night, but three. We knew the attack was going to be the actual night the thirty-first. Things were building up even before that. Anticip

Peter and I did return to our apartment. It had been a nice evening the night at Jocks. Peter had issues in this unknown world, but given a little nudge, he did fine. We had a nice evening at the apartment, too. Getting up, we both showered and changed to go to class. As we were ready to head to class, there was a knock on our apartment door. I looked at my clock. It wasn’t even seven thirty. Opening the door, I saw Yuri who had four large men behind him. Looking at these men, what they we

The beginnings of the "bumpy ride" will be felt in the next chapter.

We met Ted in his frat house. We followed Ted to the room he shared with one other, that wasn’t there. It was a guy’s room. Clothing scattered and little cluttered, except for the desk where his computer monitor was on a page preparing to receive what Ted wrote. Peter and I sat on Ted’s bed as Ted did the simple niceties as we met with him, like offered a drink, asked how our day was…he was being patient. Then he leveled a look at Peter. “Why the secret, Peter? You are a prince, so why keep

But King Olek and Queen Alla never addressed the Vice President directly. Nor was the Vice President opening verbal about his dislike of homosexuals. The message was clear from the Vice President, though he didn't say a word. King Olek just saw it and talked about the "people's objections," not the Vice President's stance against homosexuals. No names were given. No one was directly confronted. Very political. We have that same type of Vice President in the White House now.

This was a different life for me. I got the feeling it was in a lot of ways different for Peter. He didn’t act like he was ready to be so…out there. Not about being gay or our relationship, but politically. That focus, more than our relationship, was playing on his mind. I could tell. We went down to dinner, which was delicious. Boris was a fine cook. I understood why Peter didn’t cook well. He didn’t have to. Then we went upstairs again and got ready for bed. Peter came out of the bathroom and

He was a prince. Well, that sort of put a damper on my hopes about Peter and any future. He might have been receptive, but there would be no future. How could there be? I was assuming the same rules I had been taught applied for this situation were just…it wasn’t done, but what did I know? I knew there were plenty of royals that were homosexual…but kept quiet about it. Usually. What was it they have in Makarovia that was now so important? The weeks were passing and I couldn’t help it. I lik

Going to the University, Eric Richards meets Peter Ivanov. Peter is from Makarovia. A little known, often forgotten country.

I drove up the East Coast, heading for my future. I was tired, I'd driven a long way and was nearing where I hoped my future would begin. My car was doing well cruising up Highway 95. Behind me was my home, Charleston, South Carolina and I had been through some big cities Washington, DC; New York, even Providence. Now I was reaching Boston! But more important…Northeastern University. It was just South of Boston, and the best school for what I wanted. I wanted to bring industry into the twenty-fi

It was a slip. I combined three trips we really did go on and I got lost in the story myself. They were separate trips. I'm getting old. I'll call it a senior moment, but the story was done about Fremantle. Too late to change it now.

Actually, our history we arrived in Brisbane February the 11 in reality and in Fremantle the 12th. You're right. It was May the 12th. Sorry.

We enjoyed our time at the restaurant and we found Ivan more of a character than expected. I got the feeling, it wasn’t an act. He was a big man, and I’m not just talking about his physical size. He was that, but he had a big personality. That was why he was so popular. “Okay, Ivan.” I grinned after he devoured his steak and wiped his mouth on the cloth napkin with a look of near satisfaction on his face. “I’m asking. How big are you?” Ivan chuckled. “About two hundred and three centim

Your words are appreciated. I was amazed when the bug to write this came back. I wanted to share the positives and negatives we went through...letting people know there is good and bad in any situation. Thank you.

We visited with Ivan and Katya a little longer but separated after promising we’d get together again onboard. As we were about to separate, the officer that had been the first to respond during the “attack” on Katya came over. He smiled at us. “Forgive the interruption, Mrs. Belov.” He turned to Ivan, “Mr. Belov…you’ll be happy to know that the Gisons have left the ship and on their way to Sydney.” I smiled and told Ivan and Katya. The crewman nodded to Katya. “If you want, you ca

Be nice boys. We all knew what was meant and who he typed the name for. Leave him alone.

We got on the shuttle and went to the Bay of Islands…after breakfast, of course. “This will be more your kind of stop,” Tony said smiling at me as we rode the waves on the shuttle. “A lot of nature and stuff.” I grinned at him. “Sorry.” He shrugged. “I’ll deal with it.” “This is great!” I said defending where we were. “This is Middle Earth!” Tony’s eyes grew. “What!?” I nodded. “This is where they’re filming all those Lord of Rings movies. In New Zealand!” Tony

Flying back to Romania was again a long flight. It was after we’d been flying an hour or more when Colin began to fall asleep and napped. I wasn’t tired at that moment, so I brought up a website I’d seen on counseling and psychology in general. It was true about the other…vampires and regular people. They did talk to me about things…more than they would to others, I had to admit. I had the time, so I had been reading about techniques and approaches found by others the decades. I would feel bette

We decided that night to enjoy this stateroom. Now, I wasn’t concerned with how much it cost. Not anymore. We didn’t go anywhere that day. We even put the “do not disturb” sign on the door and spent all evening and night being together and made love many times. Waking up, I answered nature’s call and came back, opening the curtains to our outside balcony on the second floor of our stateroom. I smiled at what I saw. I heard Tony moving in bed and looked as he looked up as he curled my pillow

After the turmoil of emotions expressed, I spooned him that night. He needed me. I did cry a little more, quietly, but I wouldn’t let go. I couldn’t. I talked to whatever power was in charge and questioned why this horrible thing could happen. He or She, deity or force knew all about me and even knew what I was thinking. Denying I felt or thought badly about them or this horrible event and why they allowed it was no secret from Him. Baptists didn’t have the thing where we had to have somebody el

We did go to our apartment at the VUN to do just that. We proved we loved each other…once…and basically lost consciousness afterward. We were tired. It had been an intense couple days…hell, the entire journey from Egypt to Transylvania had been very intense. There was little time to really rest. I know even Colin had no idea how far spread the vampires were at the beginning. The vampire never trusted anyone and was always hidden. Now technology was catching up even with us. We were no longer hid

We got to the caverns and went down to Iustina and Repetate. They were a little uneasy but smiled at me when I came in their cell. “Okay,” I said to them as I also smiled so they would stay calm. “We’re going to take you for a little trip,” I explained and showed them again the imagines of a helicopter. “First, we’ll take you in this, then we get to the plane and we will get in the container and take a longer trip in the airplane.” Dragon came in the cell. “La revedere, semenii.
