Yes, we get Winter Break off as well. Week 4 ends on Monday, December 24, 2018, as normal. Break for us starts on December 25, 2018, and going January 7, 2019. Week 5 starts back up on January 8, 2019, for a normal class week. During the break, we can work on our week 5 assignments if we wish to, but discussions and attendance won't count until after the break.

Like Mac... I finished spit polishing my essay, and it's now uploaded to the website.

Congrats!!! Party in the Rockies!

Sleep Well, miss molly.

I'm heading out too. Gotta throw some polish on this essay.

Sleep Well, my Brother.

A quick update on my dilemma on my opposing viewpoint essay. So, we are only allowed to use this one website, which is a database of articles, reports, etc. for just this class. Couldn't find anything in the Journals, News, and Reports that wasn't one-sided in favor of a pro-SSM viewpoint. So I expanded my search. And found two articles written by the same person. One is Pro SSM, the other is PRO-Religious liberty. They are posted Studnet Essays. SO my essay is going to be based on two essays written by the same student author and was upload to the database as free to use research source. I was told to use what I can, and only from that website.

Agreed. I saw it on local NBC Channel 8 news. They charged $150.00 for 15 minutes. Yes, that was one of the services that were offered. Group cuddling. They consider a form of professional therapy.
-
Reminds me of a business that growing down here in FL, that was part of a national trend. Professional Cuddlers. You would book a 15 minute or 30 minute session, and the rules were: 1. No inappropriate touching. 2. Clothes stay on. 3. You stay on top of the covers of the office's beds. 4. The security camera doesn't get turned off.

I saw a phrase today on a pic on Instagram. Can't link it, because it's Instagram. There are only three types of people that tell the truth: KIds, the Drunk, and the Angry.

Good Afternoon. Diligently working on stuffingins. Today's Mood:

Thanks, Mac, you're right. I'm going to take a breather, and then retackle this thing. If I have to use the news, then I need to find the least bias one. Just trying to find one that supports the religious liberty side of the debate is going to be hard.

*sigh* If you need me, I'll be over here with my Hot Irishman.

School Assignment: Select a topic from only on this list of opposing viewpoints on the following database website. Me looking at the website: Hmm, let me go with Same-Sex Marriage. School Assignment: Research your topic for the primary opposing viewpoints only from this website (the same we got the topic from). Then write a three or more paragraph essay in APA formatting (don't need topic sentences or thesis statement). Write this essay validating each opposing viewpoint and in support of them. Only use sources that are reliable, credible, and free of bias. Me looking at the website: You want me to use HuffPo, the failing New York Times, and fake news CNN as credible sources? We just went over in chapter 6 this week about bias in the media, and the book pointed out that CNN, MSNBC, and FOXNews are all skewed and bias. Also, 90% of all print media is biased as well. Me in private message to the instructor (whose nice, friendly, and willing to help and answer questions): All my sources on the website are not credible, per the standards we are supposed to using based on chapter 5 and 6 this week. Can I use another source? Instructor: I'm sorry, but the University says you have to use only this website and its databases. Try to use what you can, and see if there are any academic studies you can use. Me beating my head on the desk, as I just hit the end of my topics database section, with nothing but biased sources that only support one side of the topic... I'll let you guess which side.

Enjoy. We had guests over who wanted to eat out, so Chinese takeout for dinner.

I've found both of our Doms, Mac and Mike very approachable and open to answering honest questions. Our subs, molly, tim, renee when she drops by and sean when he's on, are also very approachable. I don't know of any D/s in my circle of local friends. Though there is one guy I know that likes the whips and chains, but no sex.

I do have the Notification setting for "Notify me when a comment is posted to a story I follow," turned on. No. I'm not getting notifications from his anthology piece or AC Benus' story, who I also follow. I was getting them with only just the reaction on the ToC page, but that has stopped. Cool. If I need to click the follow button, then that tells me what to do. That said, why was I getting the notification with just a reaction on the story's ToC page?

Same, but the Administrator is a dick. She's already filed a complaint with the State about other issues.
