After the trial for Kaleb. Kyle, and Jared in book 2 when the Judge recognized Nan, he called her Phyllis. I think that was the first time I heard her real name.

That would be a very good first chapter of a real good long story or novel for you to write. I am sure there are a lot more of your fan's that might agree. Did Sam's GF begin to gain his strength back because he might have some hope? Could Sam get the place up and going again and become prosperous? Does the town slowly start coming back to life also? Does Sam find him a nice young man to make his life full? Just a few thoughts.

Great story. I am glad he went out the way he intended and knew was about to happen.

That is how I found out what was in sausage. My dad bought a hog and had it processed at a meat shop. He had them to save the head and all the guts and all that and pack for some people he knew. When we got everything back he called the people to come and pick up the stuff he was giving them. When they later came. The lady un-wrapped the head. She asked my Mom why didn't we have that put in the sausage. I asked my Mom if people did that. She said that they did, but we didn't that my Dad and all us liked a lot of spice in things and he had the sausage made with more spices parts of the shoulder. I knew ours tasted different than other sausage that she cooked when we ran out of ours. So from that day on I never at any more sausage. Also I think he only bought a hog like that for another couple of years. The processing place closed when the owner retired so he just stopped buying any more hogs. As long as I can afford to buy bacon, porkchops and ham it will not eat the parts.

Yeah me too! I don't eat sausage though. I haven't since I was about 12 years old. Since I found out what all was in it I stopped. I am not eating nuts, guts, and butts, brains and all the other stuff that is put in it. Nor do I do hotdogs, salami, or other things made with parts.

Bacon is my favorite food, then pork chops, next in line. Never would have made a good Jew, Muslim, or Seventh Day Adventist. If eating pork was the only thing I had to worry about sending me to hell, I wouldn't worry about much else.

I hope they got together!

What the hell! They all got fed. And it sounds like it was a great meal.

I have just read the first 3 in prompts and have like all 3 of them. I will read some more later. I am getting my laundry done and chores around the house before going and meeting some friends for a get together. Will make sure I read a lot more of your stories. Keep up the great work. Those of you that can take the time and write stories for those of us that don't are greatly appreciated.

I like to find a new writer that I haven't read any of their stories and try them out. I normally tend to continue reading their other works. But I mainly look for stores that have multiple chapters to them, or ones that are part of a follow up, or series, or a trilogy. The longer the stories the better. When I joined this site I had read Circumnavigation by C James. Just got thru reading most all of quokka's stories.

Excellent story. Probably some of the best writing you have done. At least with this one it has a decisive end to it. Not one that seems like when it says "The End" the reader seems to feel like "what the hell"

I was hoping you would mention a lot more of Kyle Davis and his mom in this story. If you are thinking doing some follow up of Xander maybe you can work Kyle back into it since he was Xander's dad's best friend and him and Kyle seemed to sing great together. Maybe Xander can help fund some lucrative joint ventures between them and Kyle can rise up some too. Maybe find him a fine husband. I always thought he was closeted gay and in love with Huon. But worried his Mom wouldn't like it. I really hoped he would hook up with one of the twins though.

I guess this story has been abandoned. It has been about 2 1/2 months since the last update. Is Dahawk ok?

Wow! Twins. Sorry about Steven. He was the only sane one of the bunch. Well maybe Doug is too. I am wondering about the accident. Could it have been and intentional one?

I also think if an author has passed on it show be posted by his name as in (In Memory of) I know other sites do that like Nifty has "In Blessed Memory" and Tickie Story Pages's has "Gone and not forgotten author's listed separate. I know there may have been some that have passed away and the hosting site never had a way of knowing. But if they do know it would help for it to be noted. It is so easy to get attached to an author or a story and then they just abandon the story all together. A couple of authors I have followed their stories and they would have 4 or 5 stories going at once and then just stop posting. Like J.P.G on Tickie and Jacob Miller on Nifty Archives and he also has his on site had some great stories going and he kept adding new character after new character to each story and then he just stopped posting. Or Steven Wells at Nifty Archives has some very great stories and keeps adding more and more characters to his but with 3 or 4 ongoing stories it is sometimes 6 months or more before he updates on of them. Hell I have to go back and read a chapter or two to just be able to refresh my memory of the story. I wish he would just concentrate on bringing one to an great end then start on the next one and so forth instead of have 3 or 4 floating like they are. I really do appreciate the great jobs authors are doing and I know 99% are writing both for their enjoyment and for us and the other 1% may be lucky to get a story published to make a little money off of them. But now I try my best to figure out if one has ended and hopefully has an epilogue before I start reading them. Or like on this site I try to make sure that they don't have 4 or 5 ongoing stories at once or look at the posting history before I attempt to read a story. It is just really frustrating to get into a great story and then left hanging for years or never finished.

So sorry for your loss. Losing a family member is never easy. Thanks for getting the chapter out for us. But your family always comes first. Resume the story when you can. In the meantime your fans will come up with a good way to get rid of the Brody's asshole of a fathers body.

Great chapter. Glad you are doing a lot better with your health. Loved Cody's story on the plane about being the star. I think the call is about something the grandmammie's have gotten into. But wouldn't it be good if someone in prison had gotten their throats cut!

This has been one hell of an outstanding story. I started reading a little over 2 weeks ago. Every chance I had to pull it up and read I have. Finally have just now finished it. I really hate that it has ended or I suppose it has. I got to read some more of your stories to see if there are any related to it. But if not I am sure your other stories will be just as great. But will miss these guys. Thank you very much for the enjoyment. Mike

I know I am reading this story years after it was posted. But the first time that Dirk mentioned that when the limitations has expired everything would come to light. I knew she was still alive. But I never thought that Trevor would meet her like this. I thought when he got to Northam and got to looking for his relatives is where he would be shocked to find her. Not her showing up and meeting him at the dock there in Geraldton. Wow! What a great story.

Well its been about 6 weeks since there was a chapter posted. Is that it for Worth the Struggle? I usually open this site up every morning and again in the evening to see if there is one. Looks like all comments have stopped too. Just wondering.

Its been a while since Chapter 22 was posted. Any idea when the next chapter or chapters will be coming?

Again I really enjoyed the chapter. Cody being in remission was the very best part. I hope they have a great trip to Disney World. I have only been to Disney World 1 time but have been to Epcot about 20 times. About 12 - 14 times I got in free with a friend of mine. His niece use to be an interpreter for Disney and some of their foreign Corp Clients and got lots of free passes. We spent 2 hours at Disney and after we found out we couldn't get a beer or drink we went back to Epcot and started our world tour of drinking. I care about the rides there. Just the beer drinking from all the countries and the people watching. I love to watch people and there you will see them from all over the world. Its been about 5 years since I was last there. Got to go back soon though.
