I feel sorry for your friends that have to take that from their mother, if it had been me, I would have just cut off all contact with her, if she cannot accept her own flesh and blood for who I am then I don’t want anything to do with her. I know that it’s easier said than done, but it’s my life and I will live it how I want to. I am the most important person in my life, we need to love ourselves before we can love anyone else, the second most important person in my life is my husband. People need to move on from negative, selfish hateful and toxic people, it doesn’t do you any good to your self esteem, your relationship with others and it will eventually affect your health. Life is to short to appease selfish people, live your life for you. Religion and narrow minded people have a lot to answer for. Read Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins

Several teachers are trying to introduce LGBT studies in schools in England, the biggest protesters are the Muslim parents, who are hideously judgemental but it’s ok for them to talk about their magic sky friend and call others who don’t follow their religion infidels. It annoys me the way they carry on, there is a mosque in South East London that has a sign that states love all, hatred for none. Very seldom anyone takes notice of this.

At the present moment in America the voters seem to prefer old men over anyone else. It’s definitely the power of the penis and who is the best liar, the same here in the UK we have a complete babbling, incompetent buffoon in charge.

The way they treated Alan Turing after what he did for England and the war was just damn outright appalling, the government should be ashamed of themselves. I can recommend a visit to Bletchley Park in Milton Keynes as it is a fascinating place.

Yorkshire puddings used to be cooked in the oven under the meat that was roasting so that they caught the fat dripping off the meat, this was meant to fill you up when food was rationed during WW2, My grandmother said some people used eat bread and dripping (lard or fat) for the same reason. Some people like Yorkshire pudding to mop up the gravy on their plate, personally I prefer spuds for that.

A good chapter, I had black pepper ice cream once, it was nice. I do miss the Haagen Dazs shop in Leicester Square, London, they had some nice ice creams. There is a new store called Udder Delicious a lot of the ice cream is hand made, and they also have a vegan range which is quite scrummy.

I have really enjoyed reading this story, I am glad that Eric is moving on with his life and learning how to use a computer and also that he will start to get out more. Looking forward to reading more in the next book.

What an ass Andy’s dad is, why his wife suffers his ignorance, drinking and his attitude is beyond me, she should leave him and take everything she can. Eric’s neighbour reminds me of a woman in a tv show in the late 1970s, called Number 96 it was about the lives of the residents in a block of flats in Paddington, Sydney, Doris was the self appointed concierge of the building and liked to know everything that was going on, her poor hen pecked husband was called Herbert, her favourite saying was Herbert why wasn’t I told? the show was also very risqué it had bed hopping people, you got to see naked women’s breast, a bit of lesbian sex and gay men in bed, with Dudley Butterfield who was a right old movie buff, his line was did you ever see, he rattled off the name of a movie and then started talking about the main stars of the movie. Number 96 gave plenty of teenage boys something to ogle at, and learn a thing or two about sex etc.

There are so many stories on this website that are not finished, something may or may not have happened to the author but we will probably never know.

Christmas is so commercialised that it’s not funny, children pester their parents to buy them this and that, people spend to much money on presents and food etc, it’s just not a nice time of the year. It’s supposed celebrating the both of Jesus, but he wasn’t born on December 25th, he was born in April. December 25 was the pagan celebration of the Winter Solstice until the church decided that it was the birth of the son of their god.

Has Penn really moved on? I doubt it. The pair of them need to sit down together and have a good long talk with each other and see if they can work things out. The whole fiasco should have been sorted out months ago, not let it get to where it is now, they are both stubborn and pigheaded men. -

Sometimes it’s just the way that a child is born, 2 of my cousins have dark skin, their dad is Malaysian Chinese, the oldest daughter has 2 boys and they have white skin, the other daughter has 3 kids and her oldest child has a lovely caramel colouring and the other two don’t have the same skin colour. It doesn’t matter to any of us it’s just who they are. -

No mess with the accommodation at all, it will be a deliberate move on Ryan’s part to get them to share a room. -
Specsavers are the one of cheapest opticIan’s but their range of frames are limited, Vision Express is currently having a sale on 2nd pair of glasses

We have left the EU and now the government are starting to think that it was a bad idea, the millions that will be spent on acquiring land to park semi-trailers while the drivers have to fill out the mountain of Customs paperwork, Then the truck will need to be inspected etc.

When I go to the supermarket I use a handheld scanner, it scans the barcode, keeps a tally of your groceries, then bag the items, go to the self serve scan tills, scan the QR code, pay via Google Pay and then leave the store, it’s quick, efficient and given the current health pandemic I don’t have to interact with people. Although now I am more likely to buy my groceries online.

I hope that the books are large print so that Eric can read them. I am also one to support small businesses wherever I can, the dry cleaners, barber, local greengrocers, printer, travel agent, loads of other small businesses.

This bus looks similar to the ones that they have in Banff, our buses have have a ramp that is used for wheelchair use, the buses in London are mainly Mercedes Benz or Volvo, we do have the Van Hool as seen in the picture some of the tourist buses are Irizar UK

Good chapter, I think that the law firm needs to get rid of Sarah as she is too judgemental and not doing a good job of being the Director of First Impressions.

Andy came across as a spoilt brat, thanks to Adam for pointing out the obvious.

Andy and Eric didn’t get off to a good start, I would like to think that they give each other a chance, and I think that Andy needs to ask Eric what he needs help with, even though it’s obvious that he cannot cope on his own, It would seem that Eric has been living a bit like a hermit the last few years as his health has deteriorated. The aged pension in England is very low, so many older folk are living in poverty as there aren’t any real benefits, which it seems is the same in America.
