I think that rule 2a was put there because someone thought that people in the Bridges program could be taken advantage of by others. When it comes to people that are Autistic or disabled people can be totally ignorant and judgemental, i was at a conference a few years ago and Dame Tanni GreyThompson was a speaker and she was talking about how she wanted to have children and lots of people said that she shouldn’t have children because she was in a wheelchair, and what sort of life will the child have because Mum was in a wheelchair? what shocked her was how rude these people were, she said that if I can be an Olympic Athlete then I can be a wife and mother as well. Being a mother has given her more joy in her life and she has a terrific husband that loves and supports her.

I think that a lot of us have doubts about ourselves like Stanley does when we start dating a guy we really care about, I knew that I did when Sam and I started dating he has a uni degree and I don’t, he is also 14 1/2 years younger than me but 18 years later and we are still in love with each other and neither of us would change anything about our relationship.

Marcus went about talking to his mother the wrong way, he shouldn’t have said anything when all of the relatives are about to arrive, he should have waited until they were able to talk properly, hopefully they can sort things out.
