I agree with a lot of your thoughts on this story. Who cares what the neighbours think I live my life for me and my hubby. 🏳️🌈😂, it also helps that we’re not the only gays in the village.

Jamie is also a girl’s name, but I think daddy dearest might be behind Ali not writing the letters particularly if he has used that “ethnic” name

Hmm I don’t quite know what to think about Ali/ Cameron he obviously has issues if he is not out but tries to get into James’s pants, and I think he knows who James is and obviously has a thing for him. 🏳️🌈☹️

I have to agree with the comments from @GanymedeRex and @Anton_Cloche, I have stopped reading several of @quokkas stories for the same reasons. I also switch off when authors start talking about religion, because there are so many judgemental ignorant hypocrites that bash our community that I have no time for them, if they want to believe in fairytales and magic Sky daddies then that’s up to them, but don’t tell me how to live my life. On another note I have enjoyed reading Edwin’s adventures in Scotland, so much so that I want to go back and visit there next year.

You have now inspired me to go back to Scotland again, having only been there once in 17 years that I have lived in London, my husband as been to Scotland more times than myself but as he usually goes for a cycling holiday, I don’t go, we had planned to spend the August Bank Holiday weekend there and after the weekend he would venture off on his pushbike and I would have come home, but that all changed due to Covid-19 etc. There is always next year

As an Aussie where voting in every election is compulsory, it also baffles me as to why so many people don’t vote, we don’t vote we are sent a fine in the mail, all our elections are held on a Saturday, some schools also have people cooking sausages to raise money for the school and you can have some lunch after you have voted. Here in the UK we vote on Thursday which is an issue because people either vote before going to work or after work and that’s when there are long queues at the polling stations.
