The Ordinary Us Start there. It's by Dom Luka, and it's exceptional work. Also, check out Desert Dropping, and really all the rest of Dom's work, because it's all phenomenal. ^_~

I love Science Fiction. From Star Wars to Star Trek, I'm a sci-fi geek through and through. I grew up reading comic books, watching sci-fi movies, and reading books. My mom is a die hard Trekkie, and I think I get it from her. She has nearly every Star Trek book ever made. Some of my favorite sci-fi movies are ones that have other elements to them. Mystery, fantasy, horror, and the like. I love zombie movies, even the cheesy terrible ones. Old fifties monster movies is such a guilty pleasure of mine too, lol. I loved Minority report but haven't seen Children of Men. I liked Stardust too. I haven't really read a lot of sci-fi books. I read a lot of Star Wars ones, like the New Jedi Order and Legacy of the Force, but other than that I haven't read many. I read I, Robot in school, and I loved 3001, the Final Odyssey. I highly recommend the story Rossum's Universal Robots by Karel Capek, as it was one of the first stories to use the word "robot" in the sense that we do now. It might have even been the first. I've also read Chris Lydon's the Falcon Banner series, and highly recommend. So yea, I'm a sci-fi geek, lol.

Who was your first celebrity crush?
PatrickOBrien replied to PatrickOBrien's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
OMG I totally forgot that I had a HUGE crush on Aladdin when I was little! Holy crap! ^_~ -
This is me. I apologize for turning everyone's stomachs... I have since shaved off the goatee, and now all I have is a small "soul patch" under my bottom lip.

How do you get author status? I don't mean hosted, or shared, or promising, just plain old author? I'm writing a few stories, and have some short stories in my eFiction, and was wondering if I could be changed to have author status instead of just member status. Like I said, probably a stupid question, and I'm sorry if I annoy anyone. ^_~

Greetings all from Wizard World Chicago! Hehe, it's been a blast! Seriously, I had so much fun it should be illegal. The only way it could have been better is if one of the cute boys wanted to have sex with me. Oh, and one of the guys behind the desk at our hotel is HOT! His name's Bart. Cute. The best part of the week was the top secret Warner Bros. Panel, which turned out to be a Q&A session with the Dark Knight cast and crew. Christopher Nolan (director), David Goyer, Jonathan Nolan (writers), Aaron Eckhart (Harvey Dent/Two Face), Christian Bale (Batman), and my favorite actor of ALL TIME Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gordon)!!!!! Then, after the Q&A session, they showed about 5 minutes of the film! The Joker looks AWESOME! I have no doubts about Heath Ledger. Then at the end of the clip... **SPOILER!!** (Highlight to read) There's a shot of Harvey Dent from behind in a bar, with scars clearly visible on the left side of his neck, and the bartender says: "Dent? Jesus, I thought you were dead!" DENT (with a gravelly voice): "Only half." Best thing ever. lol. ^_~

How about, "Hairy Pooper and the Odor of the Penis"? No? Without knowing any details from the third installment, it'd be hard to give you any decent ideas. The first two had titles specific to the stories, so if you want to continue that trend for book three, we'd have to at least know who the main character was. But here's some suggestions that I'm coming up with off the top of my head. If it features Kyle, maybe he's ready to commit to a relationship with Andrew. Maybe something along the lines of, "Fighting for What's Mine", or "Taking the Risk". If it's Andrew again, maybe he's still waiting for Kyle K to come around, so something like "Worth the Wait", or "Patiently Waiting", or "Awaiting Patiently". If it features Philip, maybe he's trying to rebuild his relationship with either Jared or Andrew, so something like "Building Bridges" or "Beginning Anew". Lol, those are just some things that came to mind. I dunno if any of those are accurate, but I hope that helps. ^_~

Here's possibly the strangest question you've heard all day

Hahaha, does anyone else have "Dueling Banjos" stuck in their head? I didn't know this would spark such a heavy debate. -
Here's possibly the strangest question you've heard all day
PatrickOBrien replied to PatrickOBrien's topic in The Lounge
Hehe yes, he did. There was an old story called "The Clone Saga" and it was the most convoluted and confusing story ever, lol. At one point, Peter Parker thought HE was the clone, and then Ben Reilly (the actual clone) became Spider-Man. After a while, people started to hate Ben Reilly, so they killed him off, but they left it open enough so that he might not have died. I always liked Ben Reilly, so when I had an idea to do a story about Peter's son, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to use him. ^_~ -

Wow...thanks SO much for all the feedback! The idea is for my story "Tangled Web", which is a fan-fiction set in the Marvel Comics universe...I was unsure of whether I wanted the "brothers/cousins/whatever they are" to be the main romance of the story, or find separate boyfriends. After reading all the responses, I think I know which way I'm going to go. MAN! The ideas you guys put forth are SO good! Now I wish this wasn't for a fan fiction, because it feels like it's going to cheapen the emotional impact of the moral conflict. I don't know, maybe I'll adapt Tangled Web into something more realistic, and get out of the comic book world. Thanks again for your feedback! Hehe, the question has just been bugging me for a while, and I was wondering what your thoughts were. ^_~ -
So, this is something that I've been mulling over in my head for a while now...and it's kind of important for a story I'm writing... Here's the question: If a man has a clone, and both he and his clone have a son with two different women, if the sons had sex, is it incest? The man and his clone are NOT actually brothers. They have the EXACT same DNA. Is that essentially what a twin is? A naturally occurring clone? Genetically the sons would be brothers, even though their mothers and fathers are different people. Does this make them cousins? And if the sons who had never met each other DID get together, would that be really weird? I mean, it's not like they can make a baby, so there'd be no negative effects in that regard. But still, would that be like reading an incest story? I don't know. Would definitely appreciate feedback. ^_~

I throw words at the screen occasionally... BTW Combot, is being such a sexy beast hard wired into your programming, or is it just a coincidence? ^_~

Ok, that post seriously made me go "AWWW!" lol. That's seriously cute, lol.

OMG...I hate Randy Orton's character, but DAMN! He's SEXY! I love his abs. I typically don't go for the muscular guys, but there's just something about Randy that is SO hot, lol. Johnny Nitro has a cute ass. Like a perfectly shaped bubble butt, it's the cutest butt I've seen in a while.

"In The End" By Linkin Park (It starts with) One thing / I don’t know why It doesn’t even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind / I designed this rhyme To explain in due time All I know time is a valuable thing Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings Watch it count down to the end of the day The clock ticks life away It’s so unreal Didn’t look out below Watch the time go right out the window Trying to hold on / but didn’t even know Wasted it all just to Watch you go I kept everything inside and even though I tried / it all fell apart What it meant to me / will eventually / be a memory / of a time when I tried so hard And got so far But in the end It doesn't even matter I had to fall To lose it all But in the end It doesn't even matter One thing / I don’t know why It doesn’t even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind / I designed this rhyme To remind myself how I tried so hard In spite of the way you were mocking me Acting like I was part of your property Remembering all the times you fought with me I’m surprised it got so (far) Things aren’t the way they were before You wouldn’t even recognize me anymore Not that you knew me back then But it all comes back to me In the end You kept everything inside and even though I tried / it all fell apart What it meant to me / will eventually / be a memory / of a time when I tried so hard And got so far But in the end It doesn’t even matter I had to fall To lose it all But in the end It doesn’t even matter I've put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go For all this There’s only one thing you should know I've put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go For all this There’s only one thing you should know I tried so hard And got so far But in the end It doesn’t even matter I had to fall To lose it all But in the end It doesn’t even matter That song holds a huge significance for me. A few years ago I was horribly depressed, to the point of contemplating suicide. That song and quite a few others (most of the songs on Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory) were really a lifeboat for me. It made me feel like someone out there "got it", you know?

Awww! *huggles you* Can I keep you?

Lookin sexy, my gorgeous Combot. As for how to get more participation, maybe you could appoint a few people to start some new topics every week? Like, whoever wants to do it should post a few different topics per week, on all kinds of different topics. I've tried doing that before, but didn't get much response. I dunno, maybe it's a dumb idea. Just a thought, lol.

*wonders how the Vancetastic one is doing* I hope you're doing well!
