Really interesting chapter. I'm convinced that Paul has indeed met Uncle Raymond somewhere in his past. ( The fact that he looks like a young Tom Selek doesn't hurt either) . While I've never had the chance to actually touch a gun, I know people that do. In this case protecting yourself is understandable , while someone like the sheriff ,in this story, probably abuses that privilege to intimidate and feel superior. Just the vibe I'm picking up. On to the next chapter in this day of binge reading. ? ( Sorry, I somehow got the fire chief mixed up with the sheriff, I think?)

This was was beautiful chapter. I'm always amazed at how some people make friends as if it was as easy as breathing. I find myself wanting to read side stories about many of the characters I have been introduced to, as much as the main characters. I'm facinated , even though I'm reading this late, as to where you're talking me. Here's a hug for inspiration. ?

Thank you. I'm really enjoying this story. It's beautifully written and I'm captivated by the main character. I like the tease of where this will go, but the back story is captivating. I feel like I should curl up on the couch and spend the day reading this from cover to cover. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I admit it. I cried. Yes , when he found out he was blind. My heart has been pulling me along hoping that they will get back together. Hoping that his brother is innocent. Hoping that justice will come. I love this story. It doesn't feel rushed. It's engaging like their relationship, it is hurtful and asks for forgiveness. It makes me crave this exotic love and fear it's embrace. Thank you- Brian

What an engaging story or far. The characters interesting and have drawn me in. I'm already nervous about the for shadowing. It's an interesting twist making his good friend the antagonist. I'm hoping that that Brett will have a change of heart, but I fear the opposite will happen. I'm a sucker for a beautiful love story. Thank you-Brian ( I hope that Brett realizes what he wants to do is tantamount to murder. It's not taking out a criminal or a crazy, it's murdering an innocent person.)

Great chapter. Love all the characters. I'm gonna defend Tom. I don't believe he's the type of person to set Paul's home on fire. Maybe a job rival. Love the waitress. Does it seem that nobody notices she is spouting prophecy? Like the deputy too. Worried about the puppy in the house. (Where's Pistol?). Greatest sex I never had (sigh). ? Keep up the great job.

Beautiful and so happy. My favorite part was the fireflies. I like to think of them as souls that are sent remind us that the darkness isn't so scary and we're not alone. You continue to sneak me into this world where they are my friends and my family. It instills a need for me to hug you and say thank you.
