  1. Getting your Jewels broken? Sounds painful... I have to say I quite like Tolkien's Magic... but thats probably just because LOTR is one of my favourite books.
  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DREWBIE!
  3. Happy Birthday Jared!
  4. CURRENT FAVOURITE TV Nevermind the Buzzcocks ...just now thats all... ALL-TIME FAVOURITE TV Have I Got News For You Shameless (Series 1 + 2 only) QI Oh, and the reason for the short 'current TV' list is: CURRENT FAVOURITE RADIO Mark Watson makes the world substantially Better Armando Iannucci's Charm Offensive ALL-TIME FAVOURITE RADIO Just a Minute I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue The Now Show The News Quiz (I have something to say. I listen to Radio 4 comedies. I hope you are not offended but it is important for me to be honest and I hope that you can accept me for what I am...)
  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULES!
  6. Yeah, the Fry and Laurie sketches are great as well... and he's funny in QI. I think there's an episode of Room 101 up where he was the guest as well. Also, last time I watched the Fry and Laurie sketches on youtube they seemed to be responsible for a small miracle. They had quite a few reply's and none of those replies were people argueing about whether or not something else is better than it. The comments also seemed to lack the usual mutilation that English gets on the internet (Like I say though, its a while since I read the comments so it might not be like that anymore )
  7. Obviously not as interesting as I thought then.
  8. Only how can you decide on a location if you don't know where people are? It doesn't have to be a list of deffinate comers (don't bother making a Comment)... it just needs to be a vague list so that you can get an idea of where is convenient.
  9. I was searching youtube and watching quite a lot of video's of Ste[hen Fry in various things when I found a video from a few months ago where he was on Parkinson. I watched it and it was funny as usual but there was also quite an interesting talk on it about how the media (mainly newspapers) reacts to gay celebrities. Anyway, thought I might as well post the links here and see what you lot think: Part 1 Part 2 The talk about gay celebrities happens in Part 2, while part 1 is mostly about some show Stephen was doing at the time.
  10. Drew deffinetaly doesn't count!!! Ignore eveything he says about me not being an angel!!!! He lies!!!!! Really, I am a completely innocent little angel
  11. Well, if there's even going to be any real discussion of this then there needs to be a list of how many people live in various countries/states. I mean, how many american members are there that would be able to make it? And what states do they live in? Things like that need to be known really early on. Same for european countries... how many are there in the UK? Or other places in europe etc etc... do you know what I mean?
  12. But what about me? I might not be a minor but I am a completely innocent little angel! I'm sure everyone would agree with me on that! (except maybe Drew, James, Demetz, Kurt, Juss, lostone, snowy and Xander... and maybe a few others...but they don't count!)
  13. HAPPY BIRTHDAY THIRDEYE! and I'll not ask which eye that is refering to... it wouldn't be polite...
  14. I also loved the epilogue. Oh, and since I can't think of anywhere better to put these links: Mock the Week: Rejected Harry Potter Lines Mock the Week: Unlikely Harry Potter Lines (contains unlikely Tannoy Announcements first) The Harry Potter section of the second link starts just after the 2 minute mark, but the first section is funny anyway
  15. I agree, if your in the lounge then having strong entry-point reactions is pretty inappropriate
  16. Colin was in the great hall... but that was after a load of DA members had turned up, so chances are he wasn't in the school to begin with and if he was then he will have spent most of the time hiding in the Room of Requirement. Also, is there any chance that someone could post a list of the deaths in this book? I forgot about some of them (like Colin) and I can't look through the book now because when I finished reading it it had barely shut when my dad grabbed hold of it and I haven't seen it since One thing I would like to see is someone write a fan-fic about the events at Hogwarts while Harry, Ron and Hermione were off finding Horcruxes... after all, Neville was leading a full geurilla war against snape and the Death Eaters there
  17. You want to be careful doing that... you'll make a right mess of your keyboard.
  18. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  19. HAPPY BIRTHDAY
  20. I remember hearing that the Teletubbies made kids talk bad (not that I can complain... 'kids talk bad'...) but I've never heard the whole gay thing before... But still, its to be expecvted whenever people actually look at things. If you look hard enough for something in a program (especially kids programs) you'll find it. Example: The Perverted Pirate
  21. I've found a really good one of him... Great show, Goodness Gracious Me. I haden't seen that Gay Son video before... lol. Very funny
  22. Well done Graeme! And I have to say I agree with Krista and Jack, Keep it Up and Carry On Probing
  23. I heard about this... its probably one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Still, I agree. I do have to pity the marines who come ashore to face an army of angry and fashinably camoflaged gay men EDIT: Also... doesn't the American Army have quite a bad record when it comes to Friendly Fire...? It'd have to be termed Overly Friendly Fire or something...
  24. Ditchwater can actually be pretty clear...
  25. Well... I believe in ghosts but not as the usual thing where they come into our world and start messing around with things. I think that might be possible, but I wouldn't say I believe in it.... that doesn't make sence so don't try and understand it What I do believe though is that when people die they can visit our dreams. Now, this is impossible to prove and you can put what I'm about to say under the label 'weird dream' if you want. I know what I think and thats enough for me. Basically, I remember a dream I had once shortly after my grandma died. She had been ill for a long time and had died eventually... I had lived with my grandma and grandad for a year or two then and so I had been closer to my grandma then might be usual, I don't know. Anyway, this dream was the night after they brought her back to the house. She was lying in her coffin for a few days in the front room and my bedroom was directly above it (with my bed being in almost the exact same position just a story above. I don't think that matters but it is a creepy detail ) Anyway, this is the dream that I had: I woke up (in the dream) and went downstairs in the house. Everything was as usual. My grandma was there making some breakfast, my grandad was sitting in his armchair watching GMTV and the fire was lit and everything. My grandma brought me some cornflakes from the kitchen. It went as usual for a little while, with my grandma interrogating me to make sure I haden't forgetten anything for school when I suddenly remembered that she was dead. I asjed her what she was doing there and she said that it was quite dull sometimes so she'd just quickly come back to see how things were. I said they were ok and that she was looking well. Apparently some people in heaven didn't eat their cornflakes in the morning (which was a crime worthy of being hanged in my grandma's mind ) Then she said that she had to be getting back, I said goodbye and that I missed her and she said it was nice seeing me and then I woke up for real. Now, like I said you can quite easily label that as nothing but a strange dream but I think that my grandma did visit me in that dream and no offence but I'll think what I like. Anyway, thats all really.
