    That was a brutal chapter, it's not just a game anymore. They are playing with people's lives, there friendship and state of mind. Sam is just a 14 year old kid, who they attacked. They took everything from him, especially his friendship. It's no wonder he's become mentally unstable. That was a brutal ending to the chapter, two boys both mentally braking down.
