This product is beginning to have aspects of "Soma" from Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley -

I guess that means you're sleeping more, which would be a good thing. -
That was a fantastically detailed history of shapeshifters I'm noticing certain parallels between this and another story, although the level of detail is orders of magnitude higher here. This time the elder and the young listeners, and to an extent the subject of healing. Previously DNA transfer. Even though some of these concepts are natural in the genre, I'm glad I wrote before I read, in this case More clues. Maybe I should spend some time studying ancient mythology

Congratulations on the inexpensive auto repair, not to mention the ethical mechanic. I would say that you are a very wise mom. Mine didn't become that enlightened until the third child. That was two past me, unfortunately. -
I was just looking at my reading list yesterday and observing that nothing had been added here recently. I'm pleased that more will be arriving. 🙂

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Since Jack Tucker was old enough to shift, he was training in wolf combat and tracking. Many times, he would shift into his wolf after dinner to see what he could track near the house. He might not have been able to do much in the face of a real threat, but he liked to think he was doing something to look after his new human brother. If he found Ethan sitting in the yard after Aiden had visited, he’d run up to his new brother in his sandy colored wolf and get him to scratch his ears. Once or twice he even brought a ball for Ethan to throw, but only when he knew no one would see.

This one I knew, but only by it's most modern meaning. The change over time is quite interesting. -
I'm going to guess that Ethan's true nature isn't revealed until he and Aiden mate. And I'm not going to turn the pages to find out. 🙂

Interesting learning more about how the "shift" works. The DNA details are interesting to me, as you might well imagine.

It may be a controversial subject in some states, but I'm delighted to live in a state that is 100% mail-in. Or in my case, walk one block and drop it in the box at the courthouse. 🙂 -

Are you saying that your educational materials are flawed? How shocking!! -

Well, that makes at least three of us. I immediately associated it with death; probably because of the first three letters, wrong associations came to mind - "mortuary", "morbid", "moribund" -

Yeah, nice new house. I think I'll have breakfast on the rooftop terrace this morning. 😏 -

Yeah, let's have a 4:00 am convention, although I know by now it's much later for most of you. My morning is complicated by a cat I'm (unsuccessfully) trying to adopt. I'm going to have to pronounce that operation a failure. Don't have the energy or patience for a high-maintenance animal. 😞 -
TC3 — Chapter 3: Healing Starts
Backwoods Boy commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC3 — Chapter 3: Healing Starts
I'm enjoying the story. I'm also fascinated reading about a lifestyle that is alien to me. The concept of not having to worry about the price of anything or having to deal with problems like excess cars is outside my frame of reference. I think I will relate much better to Travis. 😉 (Wrote this last night and failed to press the "save" button 😕) -
TC3 — Chapter 4: Who’s Travis Jacks?
Backwoods Boy commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC3 — Chapter 4: Who’s Travis Jacks?
Adam is very generous, but subtly controlling, I think. Do we hear "self-fulfilling prophecy"? I relate strongly to Travis, except that my best human drawing is a stick figure. ☹️ I like the very realistic and well-managed conversation among the four teenagers. That's a lot of conversation to juggle at once. -

“Well, I want them crippled financially, and out of office. Some time behind bars, too.” He ended the call and poured himself a glass of sweet tea before he went to the evening Bible study. That line made me LOL for sure. It's priceless. -

"You got your wallet, watch, testicles, and socks?” Do you also know the joke associated with this? I'll PM it sometime. Still reading..... Excellent job with the conflict and emotions that make a story more interesting. -
TC2 - Chapter 3: Meet Tibot, Adam’s Brother
Backwoods Boy commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 3: Meet Tibot, Adam’s Brother
I'm enjoying the story. You do extremely well with the details that paint a complete picture. I'm taking note of the sensory information particularly. -
Somehow I missed this aspect of one of my favorite actresses, probably because I was still in the closet and not paying proper attention. It makes me appreciate her all the more.

I had the same thought as Ivric about Michael being jealous of Ethan. But I don't have to wait too long to find out - just long enough to find time to read some more. I found Casey's brief description of his date, shall we say, "arousing". One doesn't have to spell it all out to make it rather hot. 🙃 I also note that the description of the mating process has a parallel with a certain "Shago" who uses a similar process to induce an ethnic change. Another thought I had was that you did an incredible amount of writing to produce a chapter a week when you were first writing this.
